Alexa settled back and relaxed while watching Drake play with his dagger. she didn't question him about it since she didn't know how stable he was mentally
Psyria just took to heading off towards the location of Riverwood just leaving the others to sit in the wagon at that point in time, almost everybody anyways. It seemed like the champion of Sheogorath, Altrius as he introduced himself, was coming up to sit next to her. Not like it really bothered her at that point in time. The twins were just speaking softly, Trae just rubbing his sister's back lightly.
Alexa watched as everything passed by slowly and wondered why this man wanted to be a god and how it was that they would be able to try and take down those who wanted him as a god
Time did pass by slowly but soon enough they were arriving in Riverwood, although the mood there seemed to be a bit on the more depressed side of things. A good number of the townspeople seemed quite down.
Psyria was just shaking her head a bit before she was commenting in a soft voice, "I have no idea." She was stopping the wagon before hoping down and just looking around some. It wasn't long before Altrius was jumping down as well and declaring that they were sad because they had run out of cheese. This had Trae just shaking his head before he was mumbling that the man was a bit of a nutjob. Raeynn was just tilting her head some as she listened to the other speak although she didn't really have much input at the time. She wasn't quite sure at all either... and the gods were silent at the time. Yet Riverwood was a small place and not much truly seemed to happen there - so the gods probably didn't just keep tabs on it as much.
Alexa climbed down and then looked at Raeynn "do you need help getting down or are you going to stay in the cart?" Alexa would help her down if needed but if she wanted to stay in the cart she would let her be.
Raeynn was just shaking her head before she was speaking, "I shall remain on the cart for the time being." No she really didn't want to get in the way and if they were just there for the one item - there was a chance that they would find it quickly and be able to leave already.
Trae was ruffling his sister's hair and stating that he was going to go and help them search as well. This had her nodding her head before she was just closing her eyes as though to see if she could gain any insight on where they should begin to look. Nope they were just looking for a burned book for Altrius and had no idea where to start looking; and there was no insight from the gods about that. A breath was escaping her lips as she opened her eyes and just sat on the back of the carriage, her legs dangling over the back.
There were a number of burned books within the village; perhaps a bit of a sad thing nonetheless. Trae and Psyria ended up going their own separate ways within the village, going to different houses to speak to them about books. They would at least have a slight feeling that the item was important when they saw it - but they wouldn't be wield it at all. It would be useless to them. As they were doing that, Raeynn was just sitting at the back of the wagon although she was tilting her head back for a brief moment in time at the breeze that swept through the area.
Alexa dug through a pile of them and soon found one that felt like it was important. wanting to be sure she set the book to the side and went back to digging as she didn't want to get peoples hopes up that she found it early on and it end up being wrong. Alexa didn't know why a burned book would be important unless it was a normal book when in the hands of the person who was to wield it.
Trae and Psyria continued to search for the burned book - just grabbing books that had a particular feeling to them. No they had no idea why a burned book would be what the champion of Sheogorath was needing. Yet again... the Daedric Prince Sheogorath himself didn't make sense whatsoever at all; so perhaps that made stuff make more sense than it truly should. Although after a moment Trae did find himself a bit distracted at the sudden mental message from his sister; a warning that had been given to them by that of Kynareth. Raeynn was moving to stand on the back of the wagon at that point in time before she was speaking softly and a gentle magic seemed to swirl around her before spreading out and seeming to wrap around that of Riverwood.
Alexa grabbed the books that she found and then headed back to the others holding a total of five in her arms. she didn't know if one of them was the one they were looking for but she wanted to make sure that she brought them all to the others.
As Alexa was coming out of the building she would feel the magic from Raeynn wrapping around the village before she would be spotting the large shape in the sky. There was a villager that was screaming out that there was a dragon; which had many panicking at that point in time. "Everybody retreat to the Sleeping Giant Inn." came the calm voice of Psyria as she was coming out of a building. Her Nightingale Bow was being taken from her back and already a daedric arrow was being readied. Trae was going over and giving his sister a hand down from the wagon and leading her towards the stairs of the Inn as the villagers streamed inside and her magic was drifting around the inn itself once all of the civilians were in safely.
Alexa headed to the inn and set the books down by the door before going and joining Psyria and waiting for the beast to land so that they could take the beast down with little damage done to Riverwood
Trae was just watching for a moment in time and then was watching as the dragon was flying past and breathing fire at the inn. There were some that were still outside and seemed to scream out in fear, but the flames never touched them. Raeynn was just standing by the railing speaking softly at that point in time before she was tilting her head. "We have more incoming from the south on foot." Raeynn was speaking after a moment in time which had Trae nodding and soon he was heading off towards the pathway to intercept. No he was better dealing with the ground forces and leaving the dragon to those that had long range weapons.
The dragon was definitely trying to avoid getting hit by the arrows, but it did find itself being downed after a bit. But just because they had downed it didn't mean that they were going to have luck killing it right away. After all it was an ancient dragon, and they didn't go down easily.
Psyria was putting her bow back on her back and drawing her dual daggers before she was moving forward to take on the dragon as well. The champions dealing with the enemies however didn't seem to notice the dragon priest that seemed to come out of nowhere, hovering in the air above the inn. There was definitely a startled gasp from Raeynn when she sensed this and she was tightening her grip on her magic to keep the inn safe. No she was a strong magic user but this was going to be on a different level that was for sure. Even Altrius was getting more serious and moving over to where Raeynn was at so that he could help.
Alexa swung around when the dragon took a swipe at her and she spotted the dragon priests. this had he calling out so that the others were alerted to what was going on as well
Trae was whipping around to look having easily dispatched the enemies that were in front of him before he was bolting towards the inn, but he was quite the distance away still. They could feel the magic from the Dragon Priest at that point in time - deadly and ancient. He could tell that Altrius seemed a bit unsure that he would be able to help against it, but at that point Raeynn was standing firm at that point in time. There was a different energy that seemed to be wrapped around her at that point in time as well - a few different energies. One Drake would recognize as that of Mehrunes Dagon and then the other belonged to Akatosh. The strongest god and the strongest daedra working in tantum. But Trae also knew that it was going to take a toll on his sister wielding those magics together - but he knew that she would only reach out for help if she knew that she couldn't handle it.
