"Yes very much so." Selina smiled and let him go to finish whatever he was making. She leaned against the counter when she heard him groan. "Sure. Uhm.... what kind of gig?" She didn't know he was in some sort of group.
 
"Ah it's a show I me and a few other bands do every other month. We're a psychobilly band. Whiiiiich means it's time to take ol' Bella Legosi out for a spin and tune up Lon Chaney ... heheheh..." Jake grinned and finished up the cooking and set the food on the table "What do you want to drink? We got lots of sodas."
 
"Oh hell yeah! We're doing some new tracks this time." Jake smiled and showed her a promo picture a friend drew of his band.

It showed Jake and the other two band members wearing old rockabilly style suits (like from the 50's) but with bloodstains and tears on them along with dirt and empty looking eyes with corpse like faces.
At the bottom was the name of the band 'zombieCAKES!' with the mascot which was a zombie head on a cupcake. It was the drummer's idea.
he smiled and handed her the mountain dew and set a plate of the oriental chicken he had made for the two.
 
Selina couldn't help but giggle. "Hmm zombieCAKES huh?" She asked with a rather large smile. "Interesting name. It's...... cute." She laughed. She wasn't trying to be rude but she did really like the name and it just made her smile.
 
"I know silly right?" Jake smiled and began to eat "Then again it can't be psychobilly without some kind of humor."

Jake began to think about what happened a few days back.. god how horrible it must've been for her.
"Oh... have you been able to get a hold of your parents? I'm sure their worried sick about you." Jake said and sipped his soda.
 
Selina smiled as she listened to him. When he mentioned her parents she froze. "I...... My parents kicked me out of the house. They gave me my inheritance from my grandparents and told me to leave and never come back." She said quietly as she took a drink of her soda, not looking at him.
 
"...Oh..." Was all Jake could say "S-sorry... I didn't know..."

Well this was awkward. He had to think of something to say.
"Well... If you need a place... You're welcome to move in with me."
 
Selina shook her head quickly and smiled. "It's fine Jake. I didn't want to stay in that house any more." She stood up and moved over to him, "I'm happier now without them. I'm happy with you." She smiled at him sweetly as she placed a hand on his cheek and kissed him long and passionately.
 
"Glad I could make you happy." Jake smiled and kept his hold on her. He then felt something odd and decided to tease her... just a smidgen "Heheh... someone's not wearing any panties..."
