Sean shook his head. "I am not offering anything I don't want to. I want to see if we could work out. I really like you, Erin, as more than just a convention fling. You don't have to answer right now," he said, reaching across the table and laying his hand on hers. "Just think about it, and we'll see where we are at the end of the convention. Okay?" He gave that hand a soft squeeze before he leaned back and dug into his own food and shake. "As for your other question...life is a little weird," he said, "and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them in mutual weirdness and call it love. I believe Dr. Seuss said that, and while it's too early to drop the 'L-word', the rest certainly applies. It may be weird, but sometimes that's a good thing. Whether it is a good thing or a bad thing--and if we're gonna let it be a problem either way--is up to us to decide. No one else. Because they do not get to dictate whether or not we are happy."
