Nate waved her off once he was settled and then went back to sleep.

while Nate was sleeping Sky was working with the doctors to get Skye settled in his car so they could head to the house so she could rest and recover outside of a hospital

Skye was just letting them help her get settled at that point in there, there being that look of pain though with the movement. But that was going to be a thing for quite some time until that back injury healed up more.
 
The pain was really unavoidable at the time but thankfully it wasn't anything that was unbearable. Soon enough she was settled in the car and the doctor was just giving a few other instructions as well on matters. "Also I did leave my personal cell number on the discharge paperwork. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to me." the doctor was speaking after a moment in time before he was turning towards Sky and giving him a few other directions as well on how to help. This had Skye nodding her head although she was still pretty silent at the time, still trying to process everything. And she was also feeling gross - understandable with being in the hospital for a few days. Her hair felt nasty but she knew that it would be a hassle to wash. "Would stopping by a hair salon on the way to your house be alright? I want to get my hair at least washed." Skye was speaking after a moment in time and the doctor was actually recommending a salon to them. A couple of retired nurses worked there so they were super understanding and did what they could to make sure that everybody was comfortable.
 
Sky nodded his head "we can do that is there anywhere else you want to stop on our way home?" Sky would do as she wanted and sent a text to Luna asking if after she had gotten some rest if she would like to come help Skye bathe
 
Skye was just shaking her head and stating that there wasn't anywhere else in particular that she could think of - other than wanting to get her hair in specific washed. The rest of her body could wait at that point in time - especially considering Sky would find that Luna wasn't answering her phone. Yet it was only about 9 in the morning, and she usually didn't wake up until around 10 since she usually stayed up quite late.
 
Sky wasn't worried about Luna at the time as Nate had said that she had gone back to bed before he had crashed out. once Skye was settled Sky went and got in to the car so that they could head out
 
"you know Moe has been looking for you he sleeps on your bed and cries, he is going to be so happy to see you" Sky figured he should warn her that his dog was going to be a pest
 
Skye was just looking at the building once they had arrived and was just fiddling with her hair a little bit.
 
"we'll get you all cleaned up and feeling better" Sky then parked his car and got out so that he could get her out of the car and in to the salon
 
Skye was just nodding her head although she was just now realizing what this stop meant.... he was having to burden himself with helping her out of the car. Her eyes were just going down to her hands in her lap at that point in time.
 
Sky got out of the car and then walked over to her side of the car after getting her wheel chair out and then went to work getting her out of the car and in to the chair
 
Skye was just looking at him though and was attempting to help as she could, but she wasn't all that useful. Something that just made her feel even more useless. But that was pretty normal... It was going to take adapting to that was for sure.
