Skye was just nibbling on her rice at the time - the pain at the moment just taking away her hunger. Yet give it a few more minutes and the pain would end up fading, and she would be fine.... for a few hours anyways.
 
Nicolas would be getting the same message as well although for the time being he was just keeping silent. No he was sure that Skye would want to go and visit him herself, but he wanted to make sure that she got some food into her system first. Least she end up getting sick from only having the medication in her stomach.
 
The group just enjoyed their food at that point in time - and enjoyed their food for the next hour or so. Once they were all done eating Nicolas was questioning Sky if he would be alright with taking Skye with him. "I need to go and take care of a couple of things." Nicolas was speaking and there wasn't a shock when Skye was mentioning that she wanted to visit Nate, having heard that he was awake.
 
"yea I can take her with me We'll stop by and see Nate and then head to my place where she can crash for the night if your going to be long" Sky didn't mind taking her with him at all
 
Nicolas was giving a nod of his head before he was commenting, "That would be great. I'm not sure how late I'll be out to be honest."
 
Nicolas was giving a nod of his head before he was looking at his sister and telling her not to be hesitant to ask for help from him, even if it was something small. "Don't strain yourself more than needed."
 
"The doughnuts weren't even that expensive." Nicolas was commenting after a moment in time - unlike this meal. This place wasn't all that cheap at all.
 
Nicolas just nodded his head before looking at his phone and commenting that he did need to get going. He was giving his sister a kiss on the forehead before he was speaking, "I'm hoping to be back in a few days. I am making a late night flight out to go to a meeting with other commissioners out of state."
 
Nicolas was nodding before he was telling him a thanks before head was going to head off. Skye was just watching before she was moving to get to her feet so that they could be leaving. Honestly one couldn't even really tell that she was wearing a brace, but it did help that she was wearing a baggy sweater as well.
 
Skye was just commenting that she really hated that damn psychopath with a passion. Nope walking was so terrible at that point in time, but thankfully none of the cuts had actually been terrible. Yes the skin had been torn but no damage had actually been done to the muscles of her feet.
 
Skye was just looking before she was giving a small nod of her head and commented, "Yeah probably." Man she wasn't going to have fun at all for the next weeks wearing this brace.... but she would have to deal with it.
