Max's coworkers were definitely shocked with him all of a sudden leaving since he had been working at the time.
 
Nox was just sitting in the waiting room as they were taking care of his sister. They had taken her back to get a CT scan of her head to make sure that there wasn't anything more going on.
 
Nox was shaking his head before he spoke "No. She is in CT right now getting a scam done. But her fever had gone up on the ride to 104. They gave meds to try and get it down but.... No I haven't heard much."
 
Nox was giving a nod of his head and was soon looking towards the doctor that was coming towards them. His sister's doctor. The doctor was inclining her head before she was stating, "We didn't find any internal bleeding, which is a good thing. We did find a small section of her brain near the laceration that is a little more swollen than usual. Right now we have her on medications to hopefully try and get it down naturally before we decide to go in and surgically take care of it. I believe that that could have been the cause for the fever - her bodies way of something that something is severely wrong. It is hard to say what would have happened if she hadn't needed a reason to come to the hospital." She was also stating that it seemed like she was overly stressed about something.
 
Max nodded his head as he listened to the doctor talk and then spoke "is it possible that this is because of the head injury she sustained earlier?" Max needed to know so he could add it to the report if it was
 
The doctor was looking over for a moment before she was speaking, "I would definitely say that this is a side effect of that. Sometimes stuff like this doesn't occur right away - which is why we want them brought back if they get a high fever, faint, or have very sudden sharp pain."
 
This had the doctor stating that they were doing a few other tests at the moment before they were getting her moved to her room. "Once that is done though you can see her."
 
Max sat back down and clasped his hands looking at the floor feeling horrid for bringing her to the house while she was still recovering
 
Nox was commenting "We had been sitting at the table about to start breakfast when she was telling me that she wasn't feeling the best. We didn't seem to think anything much of it at first. I got her settled on the couch and had checked her temperature at the time. It was a little over 100 but not by much - but things defiitely got worse within the next hour when she ended up having a minor seizure while laying on the couch. When I check again it had jumped from 100 to 103."
 
Max shook his head "I shouldn't have taken her back to the house yesterday she said she was ok to go but I should have said no and made her rest more"
 
Nox was just looking towards him before he questioned, "But I guess the other question is... was she helpful?" Even if she was in this condition... she would say it was worth it if she was helpful.
 
Nox was just looking towards him before he was speaking, "Well since she was that helpful... She would say that it was worth it in the end. Imagine how she might have felt if a few weeks had gone by - and those secrets rooms weren't found. From what you told me the missing woman was found - sure she was deceased but... her parents finally get closure, sooner rather than later."
 
"yea we are doing more digging through his home to see if he has done this to other females and if he has to find their bodies" Max sighed and then leaned back in the chair "this whole case has become a mess"
 
Nox was just stating, "From everything that you told me... By the seems of it he may have shown her quite a bit, thinking that she wouldn't ever be able to get away from him."
 
Nox was just looking towards him for a brief moment in time before he was commenting, "Yeah I'm not sure what compelled him to send that to me but I am grateful."
 
"so am I or we never would have found her in time or if we did it would have been much worse" Max looked at his phone when it pinged and looked at the message from Nate asking for an update
 
Nox was nodding his head before he was commenting, "I'm grateful." With that he was just letting out a breath of air then looked as the other male's phone was pinging.
