As soon as the sun started to make it's crawl across the sky, the ship began to make its way to the pier.

She gasped, trying her best to keep still.

There was someone at the front of the ship, practically hanging over the edge as they waved excitedly. They were screaming, but the sound wouldn't carry all the way.

She waved back, jumping a bit as if it would help him single her out.

"Raven!!" She could hear him now that the ship was closer, Derek waving even harder.

She screamed with joy, jumping again as she waved. “Derek!!!”

Once the ship docked and the ramp dropped, Derek bolted full throttle toward her. He scooped her up and spun her around, laughing happily, "What are you doing here...?! You didn't have to come all this way!" He was thrilled regardless.

She laughed as she held onto him. “I had to make sure you didn’t get lost..~”

"I'll always follow my evening star home, silly...~" He said.

She kissed him and held him tight, exhaling slowly.

He kept one arm around her waist as his other moved to the back of her head, tangling his fingers in her hair as he deepened the kiss.

She melted, making a low noise as she kissed back.

He pulled away slightly, "Let's get home...~"

She nodded, moving to grab all the things she had brought before heading back towards the house with him.

He carried some of it for her easily, chatting with her as they walked. She didn't notice when he stared at her like some kind of animal.

Like she was some kind of meal. Something to be hunted. Everything about her set him off. The way she walked, the sway of her hips.

He could barely contain himself again. Once again gnawing at the bars of his cage. He needed her.

He could see the house up ahead, and by the light of the only recently risen sun, he realized that barely a few minutes had passed,

She was smiling up at him, petting his arm gently and sending sparks up his body.

He wouldn't be able to take much longer. He kept appearances with her, not wanting her to suspect anything.

She unlocked the door, smiling as she let him in. “Welcome home, my love..~”

He exhaled as he dropped her stuff by the door, "Thank God..."
