The Last Video Game You Finished

Some of the romance scenes gave me good ideas for my own writing
 
Well Lies of P - Overture has been downed. Now to wait for Death Stranding 2 *twiddles thumbs*
 
Given that there's difficulty modes now, there's really no reason not to. The story is absolutely worth it!

Unpacking. It was very relaxing and a cute story being told.

Has to be Dark Souls 3.. spent 100s of hours into that game exploring and multiplaying with friends. Random PvPs were so much fun..
 
Almost with Dead Cells, but too many issues the further one plays. Which is a shame considering it had plenty without being too big to install, along with the time it takes to unlock everything.

Though one which wasn't too bad - Hive Jump. Similar to the 90s platformers I grew up with and 16bit graphics/sound/music.
 
Trails into Reverie, what a fantastic game and conclusion to a long arc of games in this series!

I think the main appeal of the games to me at least, is that unlike many JRPG's this series is very interconnected. Characters from the first games appear and are relevant 5-6 games later even if it's focusing on a different part of the world/continent. It's just amazing to see the whole narrative involved on a worldwide scale and how everyone is connected over the games.

You 'can' start from Cold Steel and still have a great time though, but the option of starting from the top and getting that full narrative experience is what have been making the Trails Series so unforgettable to me personally.

Which makes sense to have, so those who play have a choice if they couldn’t get the beginning. Sounds similar to, for example: AC Odyssey. It’s the kind that you don’t need to play the originals because of the story.
