The Last Video Game You Finished

Classic Doom had over 1 million downloads in the first few hours. Of course, the servers weren't allowed for it (this was a time when you had to order Floppy Disks initially). But others could download directly.
That's how popular it became.

But for Expedition 33 to reach that number on the first day is insane.

You have a source for this?

Are mod downloads sales?
Mods wouldn't be download sales as such -- The modding community took the base game and modified the heck out of it. Some examples were official (TNT Evilution would be considered a Mod // Brutal Doom that makes it look and feel like Doom 2016).
A lot would be... actually, I've not seen one mod which isn't free. The Kex Remake has 8 games in total but one can download extras.

And to say I know quite a bit is putting it mildly.

Finished Expedition 33 a second time through new game plus. It didn’t feel any harder, really.

Is it one of those randomized games that has replay value similar to say... KOTOR from Star Wars (as it sounds like that game from BioWare -- which was quite good for a turnbased)

It’s not randomized or procedurally generated at all.

Ahh. Well, it’s good to know from you and others who have played through the game itself, giving those a better understanding before looking into it.

With games like Expedition 33, you don’t really look into it as there are massive spoilers. Just take the plunge. It will win you over, without question.

It's something I'd look into, but avoid said spoilers. Though it will be a while as AC Odyssey is well over 100 hours of content...

Do as you will with your time. I put aside other games to play what I enjoyed the most.

I completed Look Outside. I knew it was going to bother me but I played it anyway. Very creepy, somehow kinda cute if you play it certain ways, and absolutely terrifying. Just the concept of it all. Also the cosmic horror always bothers me.

It was like that with Dead Space. It took quite a bit to overcome how intense it got, especially the original. Prey had a similar feel, but was more like Bioshock.
I did try Amnesia the Dark Descent. That was one I’d never got into as it was horrifying.

Last game I 100% completed was unironically the complete Bioshock Trilogy (the new release that had all 3 games).

What an amazing series.

Ahh Rapture. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?

I remember the 360 versions from before - good times.
'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.'
'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.'
'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.'

Me too. I already tried another game but after an hour I put it down. Having 33 withdrawals lol.
Very normal. I just 100% the game and it was amazing. Might do something light. Or just play Mario Kart or something.

Well said. Nothing like the sound of the Big Daddy stomping and those moans. The actual process of how they are made is… excruciating

I too, finished Expedition 33, having 100%-ed that bad boi. Before that was the First Berserker Khazan, which... big regrets on that one. Now it's one to Lies of P: Overture before the Death-strand-ening

I've heard about Lies of P. Similar to Dark Souls but would you say it's more forgiving than Dark Souls itself or more of a challenge?

And I’d like to say I’ve finished Dead Cells, but that’s a bit of a stretch. On the second boss cell and while it “ends”, but not as a traditional roguelike.

I loved it so much. Definitely my GOTY. Khazan I heard good things about.
