Even though the sky was being veiled by soft grey clouds, causing tiny snowflakes to fall in a delicate dance, the day was still undeniably beautiful. The air was still with no trace of a breeze, the cold was bearable and didn’t sting the tip of her nose, but more importantly - there was wonderful company.

Suited in a vibrant baby pink skiing outfit with reflective pink goggles perched atop of her head, Rose was more than ready to hit the slopes. Eagerly, she spent the past few days before their trip researching how to ski and what to expect. Despite lacking real life experience, she felt more than ready to participate.

Well, I did promise the doctor that I’d keep her safe.
Mia, Addy. I’ll probably be taking Rose to the beginner slope. We’ll catch up with you once she’s comfy.”

Sounds like a plan!” Addy chimed in with her approval, Mia nodding her head in agreement. Neither of them honestly minded tagging along as Rose acclimated herself to skiing, but Addy couldn’t help but ponder on the idea of Val seeking this as an opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with her - perhaps harboring a budding interest. Regardless of what Val’s intentions were, it would still prove to be a worthwhile opportunity for them. “We’ll catch you guys later!
a5915ee8c46eab60ee72d7353a0c2710.jpg

Rose lifted her arm as she waved at the two once they ascended on the ski lift, leaving her alone with Val for the meantime. Briefly, an awkward silence settled between them - she felt conflicted on what to say since this was the first time she had been alone with a guy other than her father. As if sensing her initial discomfort, Val attempted to strike up conversation in hopes to put her at ease.

Excited? So am I.
It’s been so long since I touched the ice like that.
Don’t worry though. It’s actually a lot gentler to land on than you think. I honestly prefer this over the sand at the beach.”
I am SO excited!” Rose was practically bouncing around with excitement as she clenched her hands into fists within her gloves, holding them near to her chest. Her raw energy was infectious, radiating a force that could draw a smile from anyone around her. She was the pure embodiment of joy.

That’s a relief that the landing will be smooth.” Watching as Val leaned down to scoop a generous amount of snow, she followed suit as her gloved hands gathered a handful of the perfectly textured fluff. Her palms pressed it together to form a loosely shaped ball as her eyes gleamed playfully. Drawing her arm back, she’d toss the orb down the hill, watching as it tumbled and scattered upon impact with the slope.

What about you? Say… Hmm…
If you had a choice, would you rather spend a vacation at a beach resort or at a snowy one! Answer whatever you want, don’t worry, I won’t judge.
But depending on your answer, we’ll have an idea of where to go for summer break.”

Hey, why’d you say it like that?” Bursting into a fit of giggles, Rose couldn’t understand why Val chose to word his question the way he did. As the next ski lift approached, she followed his lead as they stepped into place, being allowed on board. Carefully she settled onto the seat, feeling the lift slightly shift as Val joined her before it smoothly carried them upward. “Honestly? I want to do everything!” Determination flickered against her azure eyes as the landscape’s reflection danced within its shimmering depths.

I wouldn’t mind going skiing again, but I have yet to go to the beach since being ill.” In spite of briefly mentioning her illness, she still wore a smile as bright as the sun, unfazed by the challenges it posed. Nothing, not even her illness, would stand in the way of her desire to explore this grand world. “So, with that in mind, my answer would be the beach!

Fumbling for a moment as she wrestled her backpack off from her shoulders, she rested the bag on her lap as she began to unzip it. Pulling out something that resembled a Capri-Sun pouch, she’d hand one to Val before retrieving one for herself. In lieu of it containing juice, it would instead hold the fruity blood cocktail - the concoction that Val had given to Arc, which had made its way to Dr. Thorne. “Here, it’s your recipe! Dad made me some to sip on throughout the trip so I wouldn’t get sick.

Pulling out a straw, she’d carefully puncture the pouch with ease as her lips sealed around the tube. As the rich, delicious taste washed over her taste buds, she hummed happily as her legs swung back and forth over the lift. Her eyes closed as she savored every drop, indulging in the moment until the sound of sucking air resonated. “Ah~ That was delicious!” Putting the remnants back into her backpack - being mindful to not litter - she shifted her attention onto Val as her eyes shimmered with newfound glee.

Say, I never thanked you properly for the recipe! You mentioned it briefly before we left earlier.” Admiration was etched across her face as genuine appreciation glowed from her smile. Rose truly valued the effort Val had put into crafting a drink that allowed them to feel somewhat normal - let alone sharing the masterpiece and not gatekeeping it. I had a hard time stomaching blood, which made it worse for my illness… but with this? I think I’ll be just fine!” She hoped that upon hearing those words - that she was able to drink what she needed to survive because of him - it would brighten his way.

Maybe I could figure out a recipe for ice cream by then, Imagine taking what we need as a dessert!”
ac0b54fbbc34329ca74d8b9af1c043fd.jpg

Really?! Oh, please please please!!!” The girl nearly burst with excitement as she had to restrain herself, not wanting to rock the lift too much and risk any mishaps. The thrill of the moment still buzzed through her, but she kept her movements in check as her enthusiasm still shone through her bright expression. “…Sorry.” Shuffling back into her seat as she realized she had unintentionally leaned forward, Rose let out a laugh at her own silliness.

Carefully, the lift carried the duo to the smaller slope before they stepped off, the equipment swiftly ascending in its repeating cycle to retrieve the next rider. Taking in the lively scene before them, they would be met with a handful of newcomers braving the gentle hill as an abundance of laughter rang out as some tumbled clumsily, while others happily cheered in triumph due to the thrill of making it down without a single fall.

Wow…” Lingering in the moment, Rose’s eyes drifted as she embraced the lively scene encasing her. Tightening her gloved fingers around her ski poles, she finally brought herself back to reality. “Are you ready to try it out? I am!” She asked as she scooted over to stand on the edge of the slope, her gaze surveying the pristine stretch of snow. “I’m going for it, wish me luck!

Remembering the videos she watched, she planted her poles into the cushiony snow before pushing herself off the slope, feeling her body begin to descend in an effortless grace. Her skies carved smooth arcs into the white fluff as she gained some speed, feeling a familiar rush of adrenaline settling within her chest. Tuning out the rest of the world around her, she could only hear the rhythmic sound of her skis slicing through the snow, her hair wildly flinging behind her in an elegant dance with the breeze.

Shifting her weight from side-to-side, she weaved through the terrain as if she had practiced the meanouver many times before. Her knees bent as she made her body lay low, embracing the small acceleration as she sailed over the crest. As she neared the bottom of the slope, Rose slowed her pace as she skidded her ski’s to come to a smooth stop. Whipping her head back to look at Val, a satisfied grin tugged at her cheeks as she lifted her goggles, her exhaled breath releasing wisps of steam into the air. “I probably should’ve mentioned that when I see someone do something I can replicate it pretty well.” Rose’s second ability allowed her to mimic anything she had seen, whether the was from a video or right before her eyes. Her execution wasn’t always flawless, but as long as she was determined to recreate it she could easily make it happen.

With time, I’m sure you will.
If I may, just a little touch to ease your nerves.”

Hmm? Oh! O-okay!” Twyla wasn’t entirely sure what Arc’s intention was, but it became clear as he gradually started to lean over her. Widening with surprise, her eyes locked onto him as her body froze into place, feeling her hurt thrum like a caged bird within the confines of her ribs. Bracing herself for what was to come next she squeezed her eyes shut, she half expected his hands to wander in area’s that she wasn’t quite prepared for yet.

Instead, the warmth of his lips gingerly planted against her forehead, eliciting a soft shiver to scatter along her spine that coaxed her eyes to open yet again. An unexpected sense of calmness blanketed over her as awe speckled against her irises, feeling the nervous tension that had once grappled her slowly begin to melt away like snow against the rays of sunlight.

Better? I hope so.
To be honest, I never thought I’d be using my powers like this. It’s a nice change, you know? To have my human side be so attuned to the vampire one, and it's all thanks to you.”

Yes! I don’t feel so nervous anymore.” There was a spark of excitement that laced within her voice, sensing a newfound strength that seamlessly breathed new life into her. She felt as light as a feather as a surge of confidence pierced her chest - as if she could take on the entire world as long as she had Arc at her side. The brush of his fingertips against hers as they intertwined atop her lap didn’t startle her - she didn’t even flinch. Instead, she tightened her grip as she anchored herself into his warmth as her lilac hues gazed into the endless depths of his cerise ones.

I can’t take all the credit, Arc.” She confessed with a hushed voice as she raised her free hand to gingerly cup his jawline. Idly, her thumb began to trace aimless circles slowly against his skin, providing him a silent gesture of reassurance. “You never gave up on your dream to live a normal life, your dedication alone proves that. You’re strong, resilient, and never take ‘no’ for an answer. You deserve to give yourself credit, too.” It didn’t feel right to claim full credit for the way his life was beginning the change for the better - it wasn’t fair. The first rule in any change was that it could only happen when the person desired it for themselves, and Arc did just that.

"I used to hate the vampire side of me. It used to be everything I thought was wrong about me... That was, until you showed me that there was something good to come out of it. That I don't have to sacrifice myself to be strong enough to protect others."
"You've taught me so much in such a short amount of time. I could see why the goddess was so adamantly against me meeting you, Twyla. She probably knew that I would somehow fall in love."
fd89e4ec72c8f2d5b63fdbae9d7af46c.jpg

And you’ve taught me so much too, and I know it’s only the beginning…” Watching as he gradually began to close the distance between them, her body followed suit, nestling her forehead against his own as the tips of their noses grazed each other. Despite their kind being known for their naturally chilled skin, his lips seared against hers as he claimed them - feeling much hotter than the water that surrounded them. The heat that radiated off from his body made him feel almost human, causing her to curiously wonder if he had felt the same warmth from her as she pressed her chest delicately against his own.

"With the woman you are. With the taste of your lips. With the feeling you give me of home. I don't think I want to go back to being alone."

Then don’t.” Twyla’s voice carried a desperate edge - almost commanding - as if hoping he could knit pick her secret message within her words. Don’t go, you’re too deeply intertwined in my life now… so much so that the mere thought of you leaving is utterly unbearable.

"If this is a dream, don't pinch me. I don't want to wake up."
"But if this is reality, then I hope I wake up to this again and again. I'd like to be among the last faces you see before you sleep and among the first you see when you wake."

Wanting to lighten the weight of their sentimental conversation with some playful humor, she’d use the hand that still rested against his face to gently pinch his cheek with her thumb and index finger. She was careful to not make it hurt, but just enough to make him feel her invading touch. “See? It’s not a dream, it’s reality… and I’m not going anywhere, so long as you’ll have me.” Lifting both arms to drape over the nape of his neck, she’d resume their passionate kiss, only to break away once she felt his lips parting to speak.

"No matter what happens next. No matter how afraid you might feel about me, I want you to know."
"I love you, Twyla. If its possible, I'd like to make my relationship with you official."
"I can't see a future without you in it. Will you be mine?"

Her lower lip quivered as she struggled to contain the overwhelming rush of emotions that stirred within her from his confession. Her hues moved as she searched his face, battling herself as she failed to find the right words to properly express what she was feeling. “Arc…” Her voice wavered as she spoke his name, cracking underneath the weight of holding back her tears - but they held no hint of sadness, instead, they were tears of pure, unbridled joy.

I love you so much that it hurts my chest and makes it difficult to breathe.” Twyla permitted her actions to speak, finding her words failing to give justice to how deeply she meant them. Keeping her arms entangled around his neck, she’d guarantee her movements were deliberate but held tenderness. With a measured care, she shifted her body to straddle him, mindful of where she positioned herself with his healing injuries. Her legs rested in a way that wouldn’t apply too much pressure on his bad leg, but was enough to hover over his thighs as her bare chest pressed into his own.
8e7c4ee0c279135af97a9a3ac78f88f1.jpg

Words seem to be failing me when it comes to expressing this new feeling, but my answer is yes. Yes a million times.” The words hung in the air, heavy with almost a hidden intent, as she leaned downwards to collide her lips with his in an almost feral ardor - as if making up for lost time. She was making herself vulnerable to Arc, trusting him to care for her in ways she would for him. She was acutely aware that her touch would possibly caress the flames that were growing between them, tempting him to surrender and finally release the desires he had been holding back in an effort to be modest.

Pulling her lips back momentarily, she drank in a deep breath of air as her chest rose and fell from adrenaline - feeling as if she had just begun to quench a deep thirst. The lids of her eyes fell half-way as she hazily looked at him, noticing her own reflection whirling within his love-drunk hues. “I trust you, Arc. With every fiber of my being.” Her arms reached down to gently take both of his hands, lifting them to gingerly place each palm against her bosoms. Immediately she felt the warmth of his fingers as they effortlessly molded around the soft counters of her breasts, the flesh malleable under his commanding touch. Twyla knew he wasn’t afraid to touch her, but something within her conscience told her to let it be known she wanted this. “This body is yours, and I want you to do as you see fit with it.

Perhaps the mana that Arc had poured into her had taken effect with its full potential, or maybe she had found the courage that was buried within herself - Truthfully, she wasn’t sure which one it was. All she knew was right now, in this moment, she couldn’t stop. She had to let him know the longing that surged throughout her that she had held onto by herself in secrecy. Her every touch, kiss, movements, and words made it unmistakably clear just how profoundly she yearned to connect with him, and ultimately become one.

Please stop me if I’m being reckless.” His feelings, thoughts, and emotions mattered to her more than anything in this world, never wanting to push him beyond what he was comfortable with - even if he was the one to instigate this scene. Her head began to lower as she pressed delicate kisses against his neck as her lips trailed along his flesh, feeling his veins slightly pulsate beneath his skin. Opening her mouth, she’d graze her teeth along the length of his neck, as if daring to sink her fangs into him, but she would never resurface old wounds - such cruelty was beyond her.

Lifting her gaze, her eyes settled against the other side of his neck, catching sight of the scar left behind by the Goddess. A frown involuntarily tugged at her lips before leaning inward, applying the gentlest of kisses against the old wound that harbored so many haunting memories - as if hoping her comforting touch alone could soothe what time couldn’t heal.

I know I can’t erase the ache of the past…” She spoke above the scar as her exhaled breath tickled his skin before leaning down to kiss it again. “…But what I can promise you is that I’ll make sure your future is bright.

I've seen a wonderful sight
With a bright glow
You are my sea, you are my sunshine

The star, the moon
⋅─────────⊱༺ ♰ ༻⊰─────────⋅

My light. My Twyla.

There was no title the detective could muster that was more befitting of Twyla's presence in his life than his light. He would call her his moon and stars, but they paled in defining the extent of her gravity. He would call her his sun, but even through darkness, she never left his side. She was the warmth to his cold, the one who thawed the very ice his ex-goddess had hoped to instill. She was the light to his shadow, the one who guided him at his worst towards a fate he could be proud about. She was his family and his favorite, the only partner he ever had who understood both worlds the same way he did as a vampire and false human. If not for her, he doubted a happy ending for himself would be possible, and by her side, his heart felt as though it was nearly guaranteed. Twyla was his hope in tomorrow, his pride in the present, and his healing from the past.

The God of Fate had seemed to bless their meeting, making it hard to feel that her introduction into his life at the perfect time she did was not predetermined. She was so different from him, in both origin and circumstances and yet, despite her inexperience working alongside him, she felt like the perfect fit to mend the gaping hole his past had left behind. Her words were a salve that eased the aching scars of his soul. Her touch was the bliss that granted him spiritual and emotional elation. If not for her ability to tell whether she was reflecting his powers back on him or not, he would have assumed that she was contorting his heart to love her all the more. Though regardless of the truth, Twyla had made loving her easy. She was a comfortable constant that kept giving with every day that passed. In addition to all she did in preserving her relationship with his sister while leaving a wonderful impression on the doctor, she had made herself the prime choice of his affections, the only one who he could feel he could love wholeheartedly.

"Arc…" From the way her voice quivered while she spoke his name, "I love you so much that it hurts my chest and makes it difficult to breathe.", to the way her honeyed words had sounded in his ears. Even if she was far from the most socially inclined, her voice had power over him, summoning a blush that grew more intense when accompanied by her arms wrapped around his neck. Intimate yet tender, her body moved with care to ensure that she wasn't putting any additional strain where he couldn't handle it, making Arc believe that she had an eye for him just as much as he did her.

With tears that sparkled like the seas of his hometown, the detective couldn't take his eyes off her wet mirrors, feeling at ease as he stared into her lavender hues. With a finger brushing the very rivers that cried out in happiness over their confessions being made known, the detective let his touch linger longer than it ordinarily would before in an act of intimacy and affection. He was going to take his time breaking down this moment to savor each and every minute of their shared solace from their hidden war.

"Then take all the time you need, Twyla. I don't plan on disappearing anymore, thanks to you." Bringing his hand down from her cheek to her chin, he drew her into another kiss, letting his lips wander across her own while his hand traced towards her shoulders before going down towards her hips to wrap around behind her. She was a lot smaller than he was, though her body held firm due to the muscle she achieved herself in hours of training for her martial arts. Oddly enough, despite others within his cohort preferring the softer tones, Arc had found her strength to be comforting.

Arc took confidence in knowing that his partner was not only strong herself, but adept enough with her muscles to defend herself should the need arise. Her thighs added onto his faith in her strength as he felt each muscle in her leg kneeling over his body in an attempt to make both of themselves feel comfortable held within each other's embrace. Pulling away to speak, a cloud of mist had escaped his lips with each syllable. "I could stay like this with you forever if you'd let me... It's nice to be held and valued like this... You make it hard not to love every single inch of you, Twy." Feeling her chest press against his own, Twyla was made subject to the subtle but ever growing frequency of her lover's heartbeats. Both acting as a reminder of how much strength his body had while genuinely showing how he felt for her the same, regardless of his ability to manipulate his own mask, there was little her partner could do to control the pounding of his heart for her. "Words seem to be failing me when it comes to expressing this new feeling, but my answer is yes. Yes a million times."

Her desire to share her emotional vulnerability had not gone unnoticed by the detective who sought her company. It was a wonderful feeling being able to feel the smoldering heat of her heart ever growing, her kindling flame matching the very fire she started in his chest. To be reminded that he was loved, that his soul had a home where it would not be rejected even while corrupted by his sanguine taint, had given him a semblance of peace in her authority. She had deemed him well worth her heart, each action etching another page in the chapters of their shared history book. Given an eternity to look forward to with the woman he was proud to call his own, the chains of modesty that once bound his arms back had lost their strength. Instead, he found freedom in her romance and an excitement for what mysteries each longing thought had held once put action to. "Can you blame me for feeling this way?"

images
Upon feeling her kiss, his body began to respond to her level of intimacy, as his blood flowed from his heart towards his lower extremities. Though instead of feeling shame for his physical reaction to her touch, he leaned into that pleasure, letting his length press against her body while his own torso had given her chest a place to rest. Arc refused to let their moment in private pass by without her knowing his true intentions. He loved her, inside and out. No one else was going to take that away from them, not even the dark goddess. "You've been nothing but a pleasant surprise for every single day I've known you. Ever since you found me in that hospital... You've reminded me of what made me most human: Love." In between kisses, he voiced his feelings while adjusting himself for her to feel comfortable on his lap, brushing himself against her all throughout. "Ever since, I've been growing increasingly fond of your company... And of your smile."

"I trust you, Arc. With every fiber of my being." Without a mask to separate him from his true feelings, she caught the image of the center of his affection in his love drunk eyes: Her own reflection. As Twyla lifted his hands toward her chest, leaning back to give him some room to explore her, the vampire detective obliged with her invitation, massaging the very body he grew so infatuated with. "And I trust you the same, Twyla. I promise to treat you like I've always wanted to: A treasure... My flame... My light... My Twyla..." As if absorbing whatever heat his heart gave off to use as fuel to reflect back towards him, her words had followed through with his passion, stoking his flames evermore. "This body is yours, and I want you to do as you see fit with it."

"Then by all means, I wish to make you mine... And likewise, I want to be made yours..." His lips curved as he stifled a moan, refusing to let his growing need for becoming one with her flesh ruin their moment. There would be soon time for them to make up for all the lost time they spent searching for a soulmate like each other, but for now, he wished to feel the motions of her body to learn of each subtle rhythm of her heart. The vampire detective was perfect at learning desire through trust, and there was none who trusted him any more in the world than Twyla did now. She desired connection, his genuine affection, and soon he realized that his feeling for becoming one was echoed. Their hearts beat at similar rhythms, both aching to feel each other's in sync.

"Please stop me if I'm being reckless." Step by step, they walked past their boundaries together, finding new limits in search of what was to come next. As soon as Twyla lowered her head down towards his neck, he rolled his head back slowly. Each kiss had eased the tension around his lips, causing quiet moans to escape through the very cracks. "Fuck... Ah..." His voice was low, pitched by Twyla to a humble perfection. His body was her instrument and her fangs were what summoned his symphony. "Twy... More... Please..." These sounds were known by none other than her, each delicious syllable being the product of their trust and romance. Turning his head to the side to offer her a better angle towards his exposed neck and shoulder, a low heat had made itself present in his eyes, contorting the love drunk fugue that once basked in her image towards something more intimate.

"I don't plan on stopping you. I've told you before, haven't I? This body is yours." Feeling her hands dance upon his neck while she traced her fangs across him, Arc placed one of his own atop hers to give her a reassuring squeeze that this was all he wanted, while the other had brought her spare hand from his shoulder down to his chest for her to feel his heartbeat. "This heart and soul included. If not for you, I doubt it would be beating. You are the hope that completes me, Twyla and I wouldn't mind... If you were the one to have bit me." To the human, a consensual bite was a choice that brought forth a rebirth of one's life. While many had chose for a life where they could pursue self-indulgence in power and influence, oddly enough for Arc, he wanted to be bitten the same for different reasons. His life up until the moment his family had been stripped away was not his own. He pursued the worldly ambitions of a great job and a great family, but he never chosen anything for himself until now. Twyla was his first genuine choice, the first time he felt right in his decision-making.

"I know I can't erase the ache of the past … But what I can promise you is that I'll make sure your future is bright." Hearing her pause in her voice, Arc assumed that she had found the wound her dark goddess had inscribed upon him, bestowing him her favor and title of acolyte. Right where he was bitten, there was a tattooed mark branded into his flesh, meant to show all other vampires where his allegiance lay. Try as he might to erase it, it had forever stained his flesh, being inscribed onto his body with sanguine magic instead of ordinary ink or mineral. "... Then let this ache be something of my choice, Twyla." Choosing instead to make the bite of another a pleasant memory, the vampire wrapped his arms around his beloved, offering his neck. "Make me yours. I tire of bearing the mark of someone I hate on my body, and I'd rather you erase it with your own. I want no one else but your bite on me."

Devoting his body to her, Arc showed that he wasn't afraid of their vampiric side anymore. If it was intertwined with their being, then it was a component of each other that was meant to be loved. To defy his goddess, to show that love as bright as the moon and stars itself could be made possible even as a vampire, was his ultimate apocrypha. Love was his rebellion against all who sought to take it away. That was what made him powerful, the bonds between himself, his lover, and his family; Not the lack thereof. "Wash away the sins of my past with your fangs, Twyla. Don't be afraid. I'm not, as long as I have you by my side." Grasping her with both arms while they sat inside the tub together, he hugged her close, whispering the contents of his heart directly into her ear. "You were the one who gave me a third life. A hope beyond oblivion. You were my first choice in this new life as well... And I want to be your choice the same."

As Arc pulled her in close, his hips shifted against hers, gliding his length in between her outer folds without piercing her flesh just yet. "Forgive me for my selfishness. You just always find a way with making me believe in the impossible." Moving his hands from her back towards her waist, his eyes met hers as he looked down towards her from above, breaching the distance formed as a result of their difference in height. Content with the image before him, of both her blushing face, her tender smile, her longing eyes, and her chest barely hidden underneath the water's surface, he felt as though he was staring at his own guardian angel. It was no wonder his goddess warned him against her. If he knew that someone like Twyla existed, let alone be sitting in his lap in front of him like this, he would've turned traitor long before his schemes had come to fruition. "You make me believe in healing... Like you've made me believe in a future despite my past." Voicing tenderness over her compassion, he already set his mind to what he wished for her to do as the ultimate show of his acceptance.

Twyla was his future, his present, and his goodbye to his past.

"So what are you waiting for, Twyla. Make me yours~" Pain pierced through his flesh, dividing the very skin that was molded into the shape of his goddess' fangs to make way for a new claimant to his body. It was a welcome sting, one more intimate than he could ever imagine a bite would feel. Like a kiss that sealed her emotions on his body, the detective tensed up only to relax once the initial shock was replaced with the sensation of her body pressed against his and her saliva tickling the very exterior of his shoulder. While the envelopment of flesh upon flesh was humanity's way of becoming one, as vampires, through a bite filled with all the love they could muster from their soul, they too had become one as partners in their sanguine life. "Mhmm... Never could I have imagined in all the years I've been a vampire... That a feeling of a bite could be so welcoming." Notice the warm trickle of blood dripping from his neck, their bath was given a slight rosy hue as his crimson had melted in with their liquid blanket. "So... How do I taste?"

Chuckling as he felt her lips kiss his pain away, upon seeing her pull back to swallow and give her reaction, Arc traced his fingers over his new wound, coating his digits in his warm offering. "That's one way to describe me. I like it. Hope I'm your favorite taste... Though I wouldn't mind being second if compared to Val's drinks of course." Easing whatever tension that could have formed from Twyla biting him for the first time, the vampire detective wanted to prove to her that he wasn't afraid of exploring this new life and romantic connection with her, though despite the meaningfulness of taking what was once a source of his pain and turning it into a symbol of their love and his transformation upon accepting her, he was far from finished. There was still another aspect of each of them that had yet been claimed. "That does bring to question... How do you suppose you taste like, Twyla?" He teased. "I know what your lips taste like already... But I wonder how the rest of you tastes..."

GRaQuNaWwAEaIbg.jpg:large
Kissing her neck, her lover left the imprint of his fangs over where her blood ran closest to the surface of her skin, tracing them where she would feel them most. Meanwhile, his bloodied hand had reached well below the water's surface, stroking his cock and staining it red with her first bite's concoction in anticipation for what was soon to come. Despite him being new to consensual acts himself, only falling prey to being victimized during his time in captivity before, he knew well of what a loving, tender moment of passion looked like. Even if the sensations were all new to him, given his knowledge over her body from the level of trust she instilled into him thanks to his powers and the trained movements of himself underneath his many masks, he was well aware of how to love her body properly, though that didn't stop him from being excited all the same.

Struggling with a balancing act between well coordinated acts and passionate but wild lovemaking, Twyla felt his breaths grow rapidly against her flesh as they struggled to hide just how much in love he was with her body. Realizing just how flustered he was becoming due to her being open to his intimate advances, the vampire pulled back for a moment. "Forgive me if I can't help myself... I can't seem to ever get enough of you." Reaching towards her hand, he pulled her towards his lips to kiss her finger tips before slowly planting more up her forearm. "I wonder if that feeling is because of you reflecting my own ability... Or if it is because your words and acts since the day we met had already instilled confidence in me." Returning back to her shoulder, instead of kissing upwards, he placed his lips on her breasts, loving each inch of her flesh as lovingly as he did her lips and neck. "Whatever the truth is, I don't mind. You're well worth the wait."

With one hand caressing the upper curves of her body while accompanied by his mouth, wielding the same stained hand he used to massage his own member, he slowly traced his fingers up her thighs before touching the ridge in between her legs. If Arc was going to love her right, he was going to do so to every inch of her body. Indulging her from both atop and below, the very moans she once beckoned from his lips had given him a goal to mirror with her. "Relax... Let me know how you feel... We could take this as slow as you like."

Rubbing his fingers against the outside of her crotch, the detective had sought the use of time against her, treating his patience as a virtue. Even if his body ached yearning to become one with hers the same way her fangs had become one with his, the sounds she emitted from her lips and the sight of her melting in his hands was more than rewarding enough to bide his time, letting her own emotions cook without overdoing it. He hoped that by stoking the very flames she sparked within him with her romantic advances, she would want him just as much as he did her.

Finding her reaction to the feeling of his hands alone cute, the detective used both to draw out her sound, unashamed of how passionate his movements were becoming. They came here together to breach the boundaries of what felt comfortable in between them, exploring what opportunities lay in store in private. Sensing a growing comfort and a subtle but noticeable gyration of her hips against his fingers, her vampire counterpart curved his fingers inward, letting her get a taste of what he felt like inside. His fingers were long and slender, growing increasingly girthier the further her outer set of lips got to kissing his knuckle. "And to be frank, I love it when you're honest with me. When it comes to the matters of your heart, there's little I find a greater joy than hearing your unfiltered words, of both the romantic and the lewd."

"I want to hear how much you love me... And I want to hear how much you need me too."

In between the measured and composed words of the vampire were little splinters of lewdness only made possible by the riling up of his body. A romantic yet heated smile decorated the lower half of his face, while the upper half watched onward as her own face revealed a swirling storm of emotion, each being photographed to his memory to be documented as the other parts of his favorite girl only meant to be shown in secret. As sweat began to coat each other's bodies from above the water's surface, Arc took in her scent, finding the smell of her enraptured by his touch intoxicating.

Though, over all the other senses she had won over, of the image of her squirming in delight in his eyes, the smell of her body melting in his nose, the sounds of her moans and melting insides wrapped around his fingers in his ears, and the lingering taste of her saliva on his tongue, the sense that had been stimulated the most was his sense of touch. Her heartbeat was rising as a result of his influence, her insides had embraced his body as much as the rest of her did outside, and even the echoing feeling of her fangs on his neck had grounded him on this dream. Each feeling of touch had sent a single obvious message that his anxieties, no matter how strong they could be in attempting to sway his opinion, could not deny: She was in love... And this love was real.

Winter Hopes & Summer Dreams

As Rose pulled out her pouch, Val was amused at the sight of how her father prepared her drinks. It was cute, making her appear more human that any other vampire he met before. "Pouches, huh? I never really thought about using something like that before." Holding one of the pouches himself, he pulled out the straw and pierced it, taking a sip of his own before realizing that the doctor had not only recreated his recipe, but also added to it a flavor that made it sour as well as sweet. "Wow, your dad is really something special. Don't thank me for all of the recipe when he put some work into making it special himself!" Her soft-hearted guardian shot her a smile, unafraid of reflecting that very same happiness she exuded back to her.

"I had a hard time stomaching blood, which made it worse for my illness… but with this? I think I'll be just fine!"

'So this was the smile the doctor was working so hard to protect. I could see why now.' Rose's passion and excitement upon being given a chance to explore the outdoors on her own was contagious. Even as they rode the lift up the cold mountain, Val felt nothing but warmth seeing her smile irradiate from her face and through her words. She was precious and despite her size, her presence of her determination to make the most of this outing was immense, matching the very flame he felt when creating meaningful art from his imagination.

Though what surprised him most was how his experiments in making both himself and Twy feel more human had led to this scene becoming a possibility in the first place. If not for the many nights he spent toying with ingredients, having his insides end up outside or in the toilet as a result of him taste testing before Twy did herself, she wouldn't be out here, able to enjoy the same memories that he wanted to share with the detective that won his heart over. By being herself in admiring and appreciating him to exclaim her gratitude for his recipe, all the struggle he went through felt all the more worth of it. If all his efforts had led to more smiles from the people he loved most, then he felt no need to stop and settle with just drinks. "Maybe I could figure out a recipe for ice cream by then, Imagine taking what we need as a dessert!"

"Really?! Oh, please please please!!!"
Her joy in hearing of where his culinary hypotheses could lead had made Val feel like a superhero in her eyes. Much unlike his sister and her partner, Val didn't feel like he really added much to where it mattered. As much as his work in art had afforded them an opportunity to live a life of comfort where she didn't have to work in order to pay for her university tuition or rent, he still felt like he was lacking whenever he saw his sister head out alone into the night to fight the vampires on her own.

Though, his anxieties had appeared to have lost their weight as the cold ice it wrought onto his heart thawed upon being made subject to a glimpse of her genuine elation. Without realizing it, Val was giving her a lot more to look forward to. In both vacations and in food, he somehow had made it easy for her to smile at the idea of what tomorrow might bring. Though as she shared in her excitement, the lift rocked back and forth, causing his hands to reach out in front of her to prevent her from falling. "Woah! Hey there, I gotcha!" Ensuring that he would stay true to the promise he made to her father, the artist was extra careful to avoid her first day alone ending up in disaster.

"…Sorry."

"Don't worry, alright? I'm just happy you're having this much fun with me already!" Sighing in relief once the lift returned back to a standstill, as they finally approached the summit of the gentler slope, the two could feel the wind coming from the nearby mountaintops. Val immediately placed his goggles on his face in response before turning back towards Rose with a cute, dorky look on his face. As he looked behind her, he found another couple similar to them riding down the slopes for the first time, only to end up falling into a pile of snow together laughing. Even if it was far from the most extreme thrill the mountains had to offer, it was more than enough for the artist to enjoy. There was nothing quite like making memories in simple places to the artist himself. Walking by her side, the two approached the same ledge that the other couple skied upon.

"Wow… Are you ready to try it out? I am!"

Val nodded his head as he joined her side, preparing to descend. "Same here! I've been so excited while waiting over the past week that I've barely been able to sleep!" Placing his hand behind her back to give her a starting momentum, he waited for her to get into position as she surveyed the snow. The ski tracks of others as well as the colored flags had revealed the path they were intended to take, giving Val a decent estimation as to the difficulty of the descending stretch.

"Just follow the flags okay? No need to rush if you feel nervous or uncomfortable. If its your first time, we could take it as slow as you need to-" Before finishing his sentence, his eyes immediately noticed the sudden shift in her demeanor. Going from bubbly and innocent and switching to a position that mimicked that of Olympic skiers, Val's eyes had met hers with genuine surprise, his body stunned as she sent herself off the edge.

The scene that came next was a sight to behold. Rose was a natural. As soon as her body became comfortable with the slope, she had gone from being an ordinary cute girl he could see in clarity to a blur of pink hair that moved as swift as falling snow. She surfed the ice as though it was her ocean, sailing it like she knew its waters her entire life. To believe she was anything less than a prodigy on the ice was to do a disservice to her skill. Despite Val's best attempts to keep up as well, as he tried to maneuver his skis to her side, he ended up flopping as he reached near the bottom, only to end up a pile of snow as he collided into the ground by her side. However, instead of responding with some sort of groan or embarrassment, upon peeking his head out of his mound of snow, he met her grin with a smile of his own. "Wow, Rose! You're a natural! When did you learn that?"

"I probably should've mentioned that when I see someone do something I can replicate it pretty well."
Astounded by her ability, Val clapped his hands once he freed himself from his snowy confines. "That's amazing! Maybe I should give you art lessons sometime! Or maybe I should teach you how to make the drinks I make myself too!" Val chuckled, wiping off the snow from his thick winter outfit. Never in all his years of becoming a vampire did he ever feel like he could be a great art teacher, but given Rose's sanguine ability, he felt it only right to bring the best out of her. Her joy was difficult for her to contain, easily spreading to who were lucky enough to feel her presence around her. "I wouldn't mind teaching you a little about me! If you're fine with me being your teacher of course!" Stretching the soreness out of his limbs, the vampire guardian looked excited to see what more she was capable of. "Or maybe you could teach me something too! Anyways, are you down to try that slope again?"

Grabbing his skis, he returned back to her side as they walked back towards the lift for another go around content at who he ended up spending time with. Everyone that came along with them for the ride was another member of their personality he enjoyed exploring. It was a kind change from only spending the winter break by themselves like the many years before. Unfortunately, as he walked, his fond thoughts of Rose and the other people he wished to make memories with was cut short once he bumped into another man. "Ah!" Falling onto his butt and looking up, the vampire was met with a human that felt double his size despite being only a foot taller than him. "Sorry about that! Got distracted!" Quick to apologize, as he lifted himself from the ground, he was caught by surprise as he fell down to the snowy ground once again, being pushed this time instead of his fall resulting from an accident.

"How about you fucking watch where you're going little boy?" Shooting Val a smug grin, he crossed his arms before noticing the girl by his side. "Oh, who is this, your girlfriend?" Getting in between the fallen vampire and Rose, the man turned his back to Val as he shot his shot towards her. "How about you and I ditch this loser. You deserve better than him anyways." Lifting himself up a third time, Val's mittens curled into balls as his fingers clenched into fists underneath. "What? Acting shy cause he's around? I'm sure he won't mind if you replace him with better. Come on, I'll even pay for your stay here if you offer me your company." As the man placed his hand on Rose's forearm, he felt something tap him on the shoulder. "Hmm? What do you wan-"

Using the same technique Twyla taught him to use in self defense, despite his fist lacking the same weight that his sister had, he was able to leverage whatever muscle he held inside him efficiently, landing a hook straight to the man's face to send him crashing to the ground. "How dense do you have to be to not understand she's not interested in you?" Upon withdrawing his punch back, Val waved his hand back and forth to undo the sting the blow had on his knuckles. "Owwww... I don't know how Twyla could keep doing this." Unlike his sister's hands well toughened from hours upon hours of martial arts training, Val's own were still soft. However, he was surprised to see how much power he was able to wield despite his lack of training and muscles. Adrenaline that stemmed from righteous anger had multiplied whatever strength his body could grant, though the fight was far from over.

Feeling his pride be torn asunder, as the man held back a cry, he ordered the two men he walked with to get revenge for him. "D-don't fucking stand there. Beat him up!" Nodding their heads, as the two approached, Val stood in front of Rose as he backed the two of themselves up. "Let's see how you could deal with a three v one bitch." The man spat blood before standing himself up behind his friends, ready to join in once Val was unable to fight back.

"Rose... I'm going to need you to do me a favor, okay?" The three advanced towards him, eager to push the two into a location where there were few witnesses to see. Regardless of the overwhelming odds stacked against him, he didn't back down despite his trembling voice indicating fear. If his sister and his future brother in law could be heroes, then he felt that he could be too. "My phone is in my back pocket. Take it and ski away from here, got it? Call for help from the others when you're safe. I'll be okay." While understanding that it was likely he would be beaten down if not worse, his confidence in his vampiric form's durability had made him feel content with that fact. At least, he would recover if he got seriously hurt, though he didn't want to risk Rose's safety the moment he lost. "L-leave me. I got this. I'll distract them while you make a run for it a-and I'll catch up with ya before you know it."

"Ha! You think she's gonna be able to run away without having some fun first?" The bruised man cracked his knuckles, still remaining safely behind the others. "I don't plan on letting either of you get away for free. Not after embarrassing me like that. in front of my boys." Putting his block up to his head, as he braced for impact from one swinging their fist towards his face, he felt a heavy leg slamming against his liver instead, causing him to fall on his knees as his saliva had spilled from his gasping mouth. "How does it feel, asshole? Learn your fucking place." Lifting his gaze and staring daggers into the man who ruined their hangout, a wry grin cracked through the pained face Val gave off. If the man's weakness was his pride, he would tear into it to keep her safe.

"... My place is by her side... And I feel pity for whichever girl decides to settle for you."

"...Then let this ache be something of my choice, Twyla."
"Make me yours. I tire of bearing the mark of someone I hate on my body, and I'd rather you erase it with your own. I want no one else but your bite on me."
Let this bite be a sign of my covenant with you. My oath to our future."
"Let me show you how serious I am about being yours. A single bite from you is all I ask."

Slowly Twyla pulled away, her gaze refocusing onto Arc’s vivid cerise hues. She blinked once. Then again. Did I… hear him right? The weight of the moment forced her to question her own clarity, wondering if her mind was somehow distorting his words. He was forced to endure so much - unforgettable trauma, accompanied with the sting of hatred toward his inescapable vampire nature. It was transparent that he was striving to manifest accepting it, to be more at peace with what he was.

Yet, to hear him say it out loud - that he was okay now, healing and moving on from it - left her too stunned for words.

Her complex facial expression must’ve showcased the whirlwind stirring inside her chest, Arc catching on instantly. He reaffirmed his stance with a quiet conviction, letting her know this was his truth. His choice. He was more than conscious of the words that drifted from his mouth like a warm spring breeze.

"Wash away the sins of my past with your fangs, Twyla. Don't be afraid. I'm not, as long as I have you by my side."
"You were the one who gave me a third life. A hope beyond oblivion. You were my first choice in this new life as well... And I want to be your choice the same."

He was unafraid. Bold. Brave. So many qualities she silently admired - no, adored - about this man. He found a way to face his pain head-on, placing his trust wisely on those who could lend a guiding hand, and learned how to embrace not just what he had become, but who he had turned out to be in the process.

His robust arms tightened around her, grounding her to his warmth, causing her gaze to drift toward the rim of the tub as she simmered in thought. “A-are you certain?” She asked, despite him already voicing his consent. “It’s just… I know it has been a difficult journey for you. I suppose I’m in shock that you want me to do that to you…” The visual image of her pronounced fangs piercing through his flesh invaded her mind, the scene vivid and unsettling. Twyla could almost feel the phantom resistance of his skin as she bit down, inevitably feeling the imaginary snap as her pressure outweighed his resistance.

Unconsciously her fingers tightened around his shoulders, quivering with the heaviness of her reluctance, wondering if she could possibly grant his brave request. A pang of guilt thrummed with each heartbeat - the wonder of what delicate hints his blood might have in its flavor as the invisible liquid splashed against her awaiting tongue.

The idea alone made shame crawl up her spine as heat bloomed against her cheeks.

How could I even think that?

"Forgive me for my selfishness. You just always find a way with making me believe in the impossible."
"You make me believe in healing... Like you've made me believe in a future despite my past."
IMG-0309.jpg

Delicately, his words continued to soothe her anxiety-ridden mind, each comment peeling away a layer of doubt - coaxing her to relax and lean back until their faces were mere inches apart. She felt his body shift beneath her, and that’s when she felt it - his hot and deliberate length. Slowly, it glided in between her folds, the contact eliciting her body to jolt with a rush of sensation as her muscles tightened. “Mpmh!” Unintentionally the sound escaped her, being muffled by her lips sealing before biting down on her quivering lower lip as she tried - but was failing - to steady the tempest of emotions pelting down into her soul.

Be as selfish as you want.” She managed to gasp out through a shaky breath, her eyes glistening as they locked into his own. In the silent exchange, she could’ve sworn she heard all of his unspoken words that he didn’t bring himself to say. His gaze spoke - pleading, yearning - for her to be the one to redefine him.

To offer him not just forgiveness, but rebirth.

You do have a bright future, damned past or not.” Her eyes flicked down to his lips, a silent invitation, before darting back to his twinkling hues.

Rising slowly, her hands levitated as water trailed in delicate rivulets down her wrist and fingertips. Pressing her damp palm reassuringly against his cheek, she anchored herself to the warmth of his skin. And still, she was lost in those hopeful eyes - those steady, soul-baring eyes that fastened her in the whirlwind of her feelings.

"So what are you waiting for, Twyla. Make me yours~"

He wasn’t giving her a choice anymore. Not that he needed to. He made it painstakingly clear - over and over again.

Yes…” She breathed, speaking aloud, like a vow being spoken into the universe itself.. “I will make you mine, Arc. Forever and always…” She needed to say it loud enough that she could hear it too - to give the moment weight, to convince herself that this act wouldn’t break him, but instead heal him. That this would stitch the wound that had been left open for far too long.

Lowering her head, those lilac eyes fastened their attention onto the cursed mark etched onto his flesh - the shape haunting even to her. They were faint scars from the past, her gaze detailing the imprint and punctures, the marks seemingly staring back like a ghost. Studying them in silence, she’d make her decision.

Pressing her lips onto his flesh, she’d ensure their softness and reverence. Kissing around the mark - again and again - she’d guarantee each peck held a quiet promise: from this moment on, pain would only be replaced by love.

That he’d never endure this new life alone, ever again.

...And I promise these chains will be nothing but kind, loving, and devoted to you. They will crumble the moment you no longer wish for them. You are free, Arc, even in my arms.” Sensually, her breath danced against his skin, each exhale a quiet whisper of devotion meant to assure him that he made the right choice.
IMG-0069.jpg

That placing his trust, faith, and all of himself into her passionate palms wasn't a mistake he’d come to regret.

She would care for him. Completely. Fiercely. And most importantly? He’d never have to question it.

I’ll never be your anchor, but I’ll always be your wings. I promise…

Dragging her fangs along the same spot, she’d angle herself with deliberate care, determined to sink them into the exact same place on the very first try.

And with that, she bit.

It was just as she had imagined moments earlier. The scarred flesh resisted, recoiling like a memory trying not to be relived again - but her jaw pressed on, silencing the skin’s quiet protest with the promise - a true promise - that this time would be different. It wouldn’t hurt like before. She wanted to be gentle, to take her time… and with enough coaxing, her teeth finally slid in.

Her arms reassuringly encircled him once she felt his body flinch from the initial bite, feeling as his muscles gradually begin to ease - surrendering to the sting of her love mark. Almost immediately, she could feel the warm rush of liquid life flood her mouth, provoking her eyes to fling open. She knew this was Arc’s blood, yet she still found herself stunned by the realization as it saturated her awaiting tongue. A ruby teardrop slipped down to skate against his shoulder, its metallic scent curling in the air, the subtle yet unmistakable aroma perforating the silence between them.

"Mhmm... Never could I have imagined in all the years I've been a vampire... That a feeling of a bite could be so welcoming."

It was rich and oh so sweet, the fluid seemingly humming with the pulse of life itself. Each droplet danced against her taste buds in a bittersweet symphony, the distinct metallic tang or iron weaving through its decadence. Letting it linger, she savored it like a rare vintage, letting it blossom on her wet muscle before finally swallowing the contents. A single, scarlet droplet trailed from the corner of her lips, gradually making itself descend down the feminine curve of her chest - slipping between her breasts like a secret.

Twyla didn’t want to take too much, let alone test the limits of his endurance, the woman gingerly pulling away from the fresh wound - the mark of rebirth etched into his flesh. Leaning, her heavy-lidded hues met his own, her eyes dazed - still caught in the haze of his plasma connection. Swallowing the remaining liquid on her tongue for Arc to see for himself, she leaned back in, her tongue licking the wound clean before pressing a tender sealing kiss on top.

So... How do I taste?"

"Your blood... it's unlike anything I've ever tasted..." Her lips brushed up against his skin as she murmured her response. "It's like ripe cherries that are kissed by dusk, but there's something darker beneath..." Lifting, she locked her eyes on his again, the remnants of his blood smearing on her lips like lip gloss. "...Like the echo of your soul, whispering secrets that only I can hear." She could still feel the liquid linger on her lips, but she didn't dare to wipe it away. "Your taste clings to my tongue, like you're trying to stay with me even after I've swallowed."

"That's one way to describe me. I like it. Hope I'm your favorite taste... Though I wouldn't mind being second if compared to Val's drinks of course."

"I could drink you a thousand lifetimes and still crave the way you taste, Arc." Though her expression remained serious - clearly intent on focusing solely on Arc - there was a subtle tug at the corner of her lips, a quiet tell that she'd caught his joke about Val's drinks and found it amusing, even if she chose not to let it steal her attention.

"That does bring to question... How do you suppose you taste like, Twyla?"
"I know what your lips taste like already... But I wonder how the rest of you tastes...
"
9ee43460560e15c873284580ee35ac8f.jpg

Then taste me, Arc, put your ~ mphph!” Not giving her a chance to properly respond back, he dipped his head, his lips peppering teasing kisses along her vulnerable neck. Twyla felt his fangs craze against her skin, his lethal weapons threatening to pierce - but retreated. The phantom sting of his indentations lingered, marking where he’d pressed with pressure. She could feel each of his exhales falter, growing heavier, as his hand shifted beneath the water - reaching for his prick between her inner thighs. Knowing that he was using his blood stained hand - the blood she drew herself from him - to slick himself with slow, deliberate glides caused something inside her to heat up. Her eyes fluttered closed as she bit her lower lip, finding his raw and unfiltered vulgar action intoxicating.

It made her want to throw herself at him without a second thought.

"Forgive me if I can't help myself... I can't seem to ever get enough of you."
"I wonder if that feeling is because of you reflecting my own ability... Or if it is because your words and acts since the day we met had already instilled confidence in me."
"Whatever the truth is, I don't mind. You're well worth the wait."

She allowed him to explore her without resistance, offering no complaint, no even a single retreat. His lips lifted from her neck only to wander elsewhere - pressing gentle kisses to the tips of her fingers, tracing a path along her forearm, up to her shoulder, before descending to her sensitive breasts. Her hands found his shoulders, gripping them for support, her fingers tightening slightly as she felt the slick trace of blood lingering beneath her palm on one side - the liquid still slightly warm.

His touch was bold - unapologetically daring - as he ventured between her inner thighs, drawing a sudden jolt from her hips in response. "Arc~" No one had ever touched her like this before, and the sensation was unfamiliar, her nerves igniting like electricity. His fingertips grazed the tender curve of her thigh, sending shivers up her spine. She bit down on her lower lip, stifling the moans that threatened to escape from the newfound experience. Her grip on his shoulders tightened, unsure where to place her hands, unsure of how to respond - so she surrendered, letting him guide the moment, letting him take control.

"Relax... Let me know how you feel... We could take this as slow as you like."

I’m trying… The words bounced around the corners of her mind as she closed her eyes, brows knitting together while she concentrated on the feeling of his fingers tracing along the tender petals between her thighs. Twyla tensed her body as her chest instinctively pressed further into his own, feeling a soft moan slip past her lips - the sound fragile, as if being embarrassed by its escape.

"You could let it all out, Twyla. Don't feel ashamed here."
"There's no one else but you and I to hear us."

Even without her speaking a single word - not confessing her fear or flicker of embarrassment - Arc understood her completely, reading her body and the sounds she made as if they were a language written just for him. She had struck gold, won something rare and sacred: a love that happens once in a lifetime.

And they had forever, perhaps even more, to properly savor it.

With his quiet reassurance, the tension in her frame softened, her body slowly surrendering to the moment. She allowed herself to feel, to move with him. His touch grew bolder, feeling as his fingertips traced with a confidence that met her rhythm. Her hips began to move, coaxing his fingers to follow her involuntary lead, matching the gentle sway of her desire, before…

Ah~” A breathy exhale escaped her - part of it a gasp, part of it a surrender - as his fingers slid inside, exploring her with slow, deliberate intent. She felt the depth of his touch, the way he reached her fully - down to the knuckle - offering her more than just a tease. He was tender, almost reverent, shaping every movement to be something unforgettable - something that would ease the way when the moment deepened into more. “Arc, I ~ah~ love you…” she breathed, voice trembling with need. Her lips found his with a desperate urgency, crimson staining his lips as her kiss pressed deeper, smearing the faint trace of his blood across both their mouths.

"And to be frank, I love it when you're honest with me. When it comes to the matters of your heart, there's little I find a greater joy than hearing your unfiltered words, of both the romantic and the lewd."
"I want to hear how much you love me... And I want to hear how much you need me too.
"

I’ll always be ~ah~ honest with you…” Everything she had done for him from the very beginning had been rooted in honesty and sincerity - save for the truth she kept hidden about her identity. But even that, he couldn’t hold against her. Not when so much was at stake on both sides. He understood the weight she carried, because he bore his own burdens too.

She’d been his lifeline when he needed it most - his confidante, his partner in crime, both literally and figuratively. She had given so much of herself for his sake, and while Arc never took that for granted, he also knew he could never ask her to betray who she was or turn her back on what she believed in.

He could manipulate her if he truly wanted to - but he never would. His love for her was too real, too raw, too sacred. Just like hers.

"Arc, this love I have for you doesn't come with boundaries or ~ah~ conditions... it's not even tied to time, logic, or even reason. It just... is." Taking her right hand she'd place her palm against his chest - atop where his heart rested as she felt how wildly it pounded behind the bony cage of his ribs. It was as if feeling the thrum of his heart could somehow convey the depth of hers. "I'll follow you into the dark, and hold your hand through ~haaah~ every storm that comes your way. If you ever lost yourself again, I'd find you, over and over again, and in every lifetime." Despite the lust etching against her face, a more sincere expression stirred in her cheeks. "There is no version ~ah~ of this world where I wouldn't choose you." She searched in his eyes, her own filled with a fierce tenderness. "My love for you is boundless, and it never asks for anything back. It just wants you ~ah~ to be whole, safe, and free."

"Love me. Fuck me. Scream my praises. Moan my name."
"Wherever our love takes us, Twyla. I'm more than happy to explore that unknown with you."
"I'm yours now to wholeheartedly love however way you feel is right."

She would cry out his name until her voice was nothing but a raw whisper, her throat torn from the sheer force of longing. To her, he was divinity made flesh - worthy of reverence - of endless praise whispered like prayer from her lips. She would dedicate her entire existence to him, heart and soul aligned with his path. In this moment, she needed nothing else. And the thought that more moments like this waited ahead? It was everything. It was everything she’d ever hoped for.
IMG-0142.jpg

Her chest rose and fell as anticipation simmered in her stomach like fluttering butterflies, those lilac eyes glowing with famine - not for blood, but for Arc. Tilting her head to the side, she bared the length of her neck to him. "Please... ~ah~" She whispered as her voice trembled with want. "It's only fair if you make me yours too. Let your ~haaah~ fangs take what your heart already claims." Her breath was hot as it exhaled from her nostrils, her eyes staring at him as his fingers continued to pluck sweet melodies from her mouth. "Arc, I need to feel you... I ~mph~ want your hunger, your love, branded into my ~ah~ flesh..."

Speckles of sweat dripped along her body, mixing in with the single droplet of blood as it rolled further down her abdomen. "Arc, please... ~mmhmm~ bind us in the way only our kind can..." Since he was embracing who he was, she reminded him of what they were. "I'm not afraid, I ache for it..."

She watched as his gaze locked in, searching for any sign of doubt or any hint of fear in her eyes. But, all that he would find was an undeniable and aching love, ready for him to have a taste of liquid pureblood.

Her heart was chaotic as it rattled against her ribs, but its ferocity was not out of panic - it was because she had never wanted something so much before. Her breath caught as he lowered himself, obliging her request with utmost tenderness. When his lips skated against her skin, she trembled, feeling her body respond to the affection. It was as if every nerve was on fire, every part of her clinging onto this moment.

He would be the only man, the only vampire, the only one, to have ever bitten her.

And then she felt it. His bite.

"Haaah..." She sucked in a gulp of air, clutching onto his shoulders as her breath stuttered. He chose to bite her shoulder opposed to her neck, feeling as blood bubbled up to drench his mouth. It felt like her soul was being touched, as if their bond was strengthening as it weaved into her very being. There was a trace of pain, but it soon dulled to a relaxing warmth. It turned into a pleasure so deep that it caused her eyes to flutter shut like the wings of a butterfly.

His pace was loving, careful, as if every drop of her crimson meant something sacred as it flowed into his mouth. Her arms lifted as she cradled his head, interlacing her drenched fingers into his tresses affectionately - as if quietly encouraging him to have his fill, to take everything he wanted. Twyla didn't want him to stop, wanting him to stay in that space between pain and ecstasy. Where she now wasn't just his lover, but his entirely.

Twyla watched as he pulled back, catching sight of the faint gleam of blood - her blood - that painted his lips. His eyes were alight - wild and dark, but so full of high regard - as he stared back. He stared as if he were gazing at something sacred, as if her very blood had awoken something in him. She felt the echo of his bite throbbing into her shoulder, pulsating in tandem to her heart rate.

"Now, it's your turn to tell me..." Her voice was soft, breathy with a lingering heat and wonder. Her fingertips reached up to brush along his jaw, feeling the tension still humming beneath his flesh. Her thumb danced to the corner of his mouth, grazing his lower lip as she collected the tiniest trace of red. "How did I taste?" She asked, both in curiosity and need. She needed to know just how he tasted her and what become of that moment of her full surrender. "Was I sweet? Bitter? Think you'll get addicted?" Twyla threw in some ideas, wondering if she still lingered on his tongue the same way he lingered in her heart.

She wanted to take control - not out of confidence, but to show him that even in her inexperience, she could rise to meet his burning fire. To prove that he was worth every ounce of courage she could muster. That for him, she was willing to silence the trembling voice of fear and step into the unknown. Her hand moved beneath the water, slow but deliberate, until her fingers found the base of his cock. He was so hard it almost felt like it ached - veins pulsing with desire beneath her touch. She curled her fingers around him, marveling at the way he twitched in her grasp, the involuntary reaction stirring something primal in her. Twyla's gaze lifted, watching the way Arc's expression shifted with the surprise and pleasure of her touch. Though she was intruding, there was no resistance in him.

Only welcome. Only want.

He was thick, solid in her palm, and for a flicker of a moment, uncertainty crept in. How can he possibly fit inside me? How could something that size break through something so untouched?

Her hand moved with quiet purpose, each stroke deliberate as she explored him. She glided upward, fingers brushing over the swollen tip before sliding slowly back down, savoring the weight of him in her palm. Her breath hitched as it grew heavier, more uneven, as the gravity of what they were about to do settled over her. This was it. The point of no return. The realization sent a thrill through her - a dizzying rush of nerves and desire all tangled together. They were really going to cross that threshold, body and soul, and the thought of it lit a fire deep inside her.

"Did you want to take me right here, or..." Her strokes remained steady, exploring him with growing confidence, learning the way he twitched in her hand with each deliberate touch. Every little reaction from him made her bolder, made her want to give more. Her voice came out in a low and breathy tone, each word laced with a hint of lewdness she didn't know she was even capable of. "...Did you want to take me on the bed... sprawled out, just for you to see?" As the words left her lips, they nearly startled her. She'd never spoken like that before, hell, never dared to sound so vulgar, so openly wanting. But here she was, saying it without shame, her body and voice betraying a desire she'd kept hidden for so long.

"That's amazing! Maybe I should give you art lessons sometime! Or maybe I should teach you how to make the drinks I make myself too!"
"I wouldn't mind teaching you a little about me! If you're fine with me being your teacher of course!"
"Or maybe you could teach me something too! Anyways, are you down to try that slope again?"

Really? You’d actually be willing to teach me all of those wonderful things?” Rose asked as her eyes widened with genuine surprise, a sweet smile tugging at the corners of her lips. “Of course I wouldn’t mind you being my teacher!” Even though their time spent together had been brief, Rose was already growing fond of Val. There was something about him that made their shared moments feel effortless and exciting, matching her energy so naturally. It was as if they were tuned to the same frequency, vibrating in sync. He lit up every space he walked into - and now, she couldn’t help but feel that he was beginning to light up something inside her, too.

Yeah, let’s go ahead and slide down it again!” A spark of excitement expelled from her lips as she grabbed her skis and walked with a small shuffle as she fell into step beside Val. They walked in comfortable silence, the only sounds being the distant chatter of other skiers and the soft rhythmic melody of crunching snow beneath their boots. The chill of the wintry air nipped at her cheeks, yet her heart felt incredibly warm.

Her own thoughts began to drift, reflecting on how lucky she was - surrounded by new, wonderful faces, making fresh memories in a place blanketed with snow and plenty of laughter. This vacation had become more than just a getaway, it was a moment in time she knew she’d want to remember forever.

Hey, where all have you-” Her question barely had time to settle before she turned her head, just in time to catch Val colliding with an oncoming skier. The impact sent him sprawling, landing flat on his rear with a surprised grunt.

"Ah!"
"Sorry about that! Got distracted!"

Oh my gosh, are you okay?!” Rose gasped as her eyes immediately focused on Val. She hurried to his side as she placed a reassuring hand on his back as he pushed himself upright, the snow clinging onto his thick coat. Val’s apology was soft and sincere, it was honest while he acknowledged his mistake. But, the other skier wasn’t nearly as forgiving. His tone was sharpened as irritation flared, behaving as if the stumble had ruined more than just the moment.
2d22be4e543b095e4cb12b3829d1d5de.jpg

Rose's brows furrowed slightly, her protective instincts stirring, but she stayed close to Val, steady and supportive - ready to help him brush off both the snow and the sting of the encounter.

How about you fucking watch where you're going little boy?"
"Oh, who is this, your girlfriend?"

Lifting her head to meet the stranger’s gaze, Rose’s expression shifted in an instant. Her brows drew together, her cheeks puffing slightly with visible irritation. Her eyes scanned him from head to toe, a subtle challenge in her stare as if she were silently measuring his worth before deciding whether he deserved a response.

That wasn’t very nice.” she said coolly, her tone sharp but controlled. “You weren’t exactly watching where you were going either.

His offhand remark about her being Val’s “other half” made her blush, heat rushing to her cheeks, but she ignored it, refusing to give him the satisfaction. It didn’t matter. Not when he was being a jerk for no reason at all.

"How about you and I ditch this loser. You deserve better than him anyways." "What? Acting shy cause he's around? I'm sure he won't mind if you replace him with better. Come on, I'll even pay for your stay here if you offer me your company."

Her lips pressed into a thin, hard line, the warmth in her gaze now replaced with cold disbelief. She stared at him, stunned - not just by his refusal to take responsibility, but by the way he threw out vulgarities without a second thought, like the world owed him nothing but tolerance for his crudeness.

How about you piss off.” she snapped, the words sharp and bitter on her tongue. It shocked even her - such venom wasn’t like her. But he’d earned every syllable. The bubbly girl he might’ve expected was gone, replaced with someone who wasn’t afraid to bare her teeth when pushed too far.

And then… he touched her.

His hand landed on her forearm with a casual, almost dismissive air - like she was something to be handled, not someone to be respected. Her stomach turned with nauseating sickness.

Her jaw clenched tight, teeth grinding as fury surged through her. Her free hand shot upward to slap his hand away, but….

"Hmm? What do you wan-"

It was as if time had been moved to a slow, just enough for Rose to witness - frame by frame - the very moment Val’s curled fist connected with the stranger’s face. The sound was sharp, almost visceral, causing her gloved hands to instinctively cover her mouth as she winced- feeling the phantom ache bloom on her own face where the punch had landed.

The last thing she was expecting was for Val to snap like that - the sweet, easy going man disappearing for a moment. The violence felt justified after the duo were treated so poorly. It was deserved, even. It was therapeutic to watch as the man stumbled backward as shock etched across his stupid face. He clearly didn’t anticipate for Val to wield the guts to challenge him - let alone landing a hit that sent him reeling.

Rose burst out into laughter, the sound bright and breathless in the cold air as puffs of breath left her opened mouth. He had definitely picked the wrong people to mess with.

How dense do you have to be to not understand she's not interested in you?"
"Owwww... I don't know how Twyla could keep doing this."

Is your hand okay?” She asked as she subsided her laughter, her voice now much softer as concern laced her words. With her gloved hands she reached out, gingerly cradling the hand that delivered the blow. It was a solid hit, enough to leave a mark on his skin, no doubt. With care, her thumb brushed over his knuckles, her eyes meeting his as she searched for any signs of pain.

Before the moment could settle, the man's voice caused her attention to snap away, whipping around to stare daggers at the man. A scowl settled on her features, wondering how he had more fire to throw after being punched like that. Take the damn hint, she thought. You already lost.

"D-don't fucking stand there. Beat him up!"
"Let's see how you could deal with a three v one bitch."

Specks of blood marred the white snow, like ink spilled across a blank page. The once-serene slope now felt cold in an entirely different way as the men began to close in, their steps slow, calculated. They surrounded them like wolves circling wounded prey.
1b7869c06c24cea1592f529741fca56d.jpg

Rose’s head snapped from side to side, her eyes darting across each face. Her breath quickened. That flicker of confidence from before was fading, replaced by something tighter, colder.

Fear.

It clung to her skin, climbed into her lungs, whispering old memories she’d tried so hard to bury. Ambushed. Helpless.

Pain she couldn’t stop, hands that didn’t care if she screamed. She could still feel them sometimes, even now - phantoms of a night that left more than just physical wounds, changing her entire DNA. Her legs stiffened, throat tightening as panic bubbled just beneath the surface.

But she wasn’t that girl anymore.
And she wasn’t alone this time.

"Rose... I'm going to need you to do me a favor, okay?"
"My phone is in my back pocket. Take it and ski away from here, got it? Call for help from the others when you're safe. I'll be okay."
L-leave me. I got this. I'll distract them while you make a run for it a-and I'll catch up with ya before you know it."

Val’s voice sliced through the storm that was beginning to rise inside of her mind, waving away the shadows of memory that threatened to swallow her in one gulp. The fear twisting in her chest wasn’t just about the men surrounding them - it was about what this moment mirrored. That night. The night. When everything changed. When she was cornered, helpless, and turned into something she never asked to become.

Her PTSD surged like a rising tide, but Val’s presence anchored her.

He stood tall, ready to fight them all if it meant giving her a chance to escape with her skin still intact. That selflessness, that bravery… it gripped her heart like a pulsing lifeline. She couldn’t run - no - she wouldn’t run. Clenching her hands into tight fists, her resolve coursed through her veins like a wildfire.

Rose was no longer the same fragile girl from years ago. She was a vampire now - reborn in pain, but forged in it too.

No.” Flatly she said, her tone low but firm as her back was facing Val. Her eyes lingered on the group as she swallowed hard, forcing the fear that clawed at her throat to travel down. “I’m not leaving you here by yourself. We’re in this together.

"Ha! You think she's gonna be able to run away without having some fun first?"
"I don't plan on letting either of you get away for free. Not after embarrassing me like that. in front of my boys."

They didn’t even look at her. Their eyes remained fixed on Val, dismissing her as no more than a trembling girl on the sideline. Harmless, forgettable. Not a threat. Not worth their attention. That’s what they saw. Someone weak. Small. Vulnerable.

And that illusion held… right up until they struck him again.

The sound of the blow, being brutal and solid, rang through the air as one of them drove a merciless kick into Val’s side, knocking him to the ground with a choked grunt of pain.

That’s when something snapped inside her.

The snow crunched under her boot as she squared her stance, staring at the three of them. They towered her, sneering, vultures thinking they had found some easy prey. Her heart thundered inside of her chest, knowing she had to show restraint. Every vampiric instinct in her bones begged her to let go, to not hold back and tear through them like the lethal predator she was. But she couldn't, not here, and not in front all of these people. "Awe, what're you going to do? Slap me with your pretty little hand?" One of them mocked, but she didn't respond back.

The resort buzzed in the distance as families and friends continued to have fun, oblivious to the fight that was about to break just beyond the slopes. One of the men lunged at her, and she ducked with practiced ease, pivoting on her heel. With a controlled strike mirroring the one they gave to Val, her foot levitated before striking him on the side, sending him sprawling. Another came from behind her, attempting to hurdle a punch her way. "Trying to hit a girl when she's not looking. Pathetic." She hissed before whipping around and grabbing his wrist in mid-swing, twisting hard enough to make him drop to his knees. "AHH!" He shrieked out, the pain evident in his strained voice. She could've shattered his bones, but she didn't despite wanting to. The third rushed to her with a shit-eating grin, forcing her to leap back as she breathed hard. Her fangs ached beneath her lips, the primal urge to sink into survival mode clawing at her. Don't lose it. Don't give in, Rose. She reassured herself as she side stepped the man.

77989f850e217efe0e09788cd1a7e3d8.jpg
"You think you're hot shit 'cause you have a few moves up your sleeve, huh?" His boots pounded against the snow as a snarl twisted on his face, as if he had already won. "You're going to learn that you fucked up big time." She stood her ground as she glared at him, feeling her blood rush through her veins, her muscles coiling like a spring. He swung while cursing under his breath, the girl sidestepping him with ease. Lifting her hand, she grabbed his wrist and used his own momentum to yank him forward. Her knee slammed into his gut, hearing the wind expel from his lungs as he folded over.

But she didn't stop there.

Twisting her body, she brought him down into the snow, pinning him with a firm hold on his shoulder and a knee to his back. Leaning in close to his ear, she muttered, her words like ice slicing through the air. "Stay down, you have absolutely no idea what I'm holding back right now." She rose to her feet, her breath still ragged as he quickly got to his feet. The other two had already gotten up, viewing her in a different light - something they shouldn't have touched to begin with.

She turned to Val, her sharp edges softening the moment their eyes met. Her gaze swept over him, quickly checking to make sure he was steady on his feet, no lasting damage done. When she was sure he was okay, she offered him a sweet, almost innocent smile - like she hadn't just dismantled three men without breaking a sweat. "Should we let them crawl away with what's left of their pride," she asked lightly, a playful glint in her eye, "or do you feel like giving them a little extra to remember us by?"

To believe that the woman he treasured in his arms was the very same that saved him from living a life of regret had made their relationship feel more than just one born of luck; That it was a blessed union dictated by whatever powers that be that controlled destiny. Twyla was a miracle of untold proportions, one who won not only his trust, but his heart as well through a consistent, honest desire to protect his happiness. By doing so, she herself had become that happiness, a treasure he was unwilling to treat as any less. Whether it be her smile, the embrace of her insides, the taste of her blood, the addictive sounds of his name coming from her lips, or even just the warmth of her embrace alone, he could never get enough. She was everything he needed her to be and more; Everything he wanted her to be.

Through her fangs, he was reborn, claimed by someone he truly wished to devote himself too. Through her confessions, he had found love, even at the bottom of his abyss. Through her smile, he found his future, a fate he wished to protect no matter what. Through her, he found himself, the man he wanted to be even after being converted into a vampire against his will. Twyla never judged him for his past. Instead, she placed the weight of her opinion on the actions of the present, of the human that sought to make the world a better place for his sister through his vampiric abilities. United in goal, he never felt anyone more right to call his own, let alone anyone else more right to have the right to call him mine.

To him, Twyla was his divine ambrosia. His body struggled to maintain its composure upon the first true taste of what she was willing to offer him. She was addictive and yet at the same time, so regenerative to his soul, as though her presence and intimacy itself was the salve to the many years spent in solitude awaiting to make true to his revenge. If this was the love that he would experience being by her side, revenge itself didn't feel all too attractive in comparison. He once thought that his sole purpose was to be used as a weapon against the goddess, that he was a tool to be used and discarded once his war was over. Yet somehow, this pureblooded woman was so pure in heart that she gave this tool a new purpose; One that had reason to be around in the peace he fought so hard for: That purpose being hers. He was more than just an ally and more than just a lover. He was her Archimedes. The only one she would ever claim and the only one she would ever let claim her. Their love didn't need boundaries when it was founded upon a shared desire to see each other at their best.

Her cries of worship and intimacy were driving her bonded mad with passion despite the serenity of their peace now that they genuinely have a moment alone to each other. Each content yet excited echo of ecstasy made audible through the love spoken in their body language inscribing lewd letters to each other had made him yearn for her evermore. Even if this moment were to end without further intimacy, he would be content, knowing truly what her honest feelings genuinely looked like, though it seemed she wasn't going to keep in him in want for much longer. "Please... ~ah~ It's only fair if you make me yours too. Let your ~haaah~ fangs take what your heart already claims."

"Gladly. There would be nothing I would like more than to inscribe my signature on your flesh, Twy, both on the inside and out." Slowing down the twisting of his fingers within the confines of her flesh for her to be able to truly focus on the sensations of his fangs against her body, her beloved gazed upon her available canvas, curious as to where he wished to leave his mark. He didn't want his first bite to be tainted by pain, though he wished it to be present only in a place where he would see well. The inner crook of her shoulder had offered the best of both. While usually veiled by a sleeve, it was a place on her body where he felt as though the dull feeling that came with a deep, love bite would subject her to the least pain.

"Arc, I need to feel you... I ~mph~ want your hunger, your love, branded into my ~ah~ flesh..." Kisses had spilled atop the area he wished to mark her, toying with her taste while his craving her body grew amplified by her skin's sampling. "Arc, please... ~mmhmm~ bind us in the way only our kind can... I'm not afraid, I ache for it..." Her desire to love both sides of him had made his heart throb cozily in his chest, flavoring every sensation she provided with an added sweetness akin to that of the embrace of a first love. Though, as if he questioned whether this desire of him was in part, due to his own ability interacting with her soul, as he turned towards her to give her a final chance to say no, instead of seeing any sign of fear or question in her eyes, he found nothing but an unbridled love; Her eyes and her words had given him every signal that she wished to be claimed as a woman by himself as a human and as a vampire. "Then let this be the manifestation of my promise to you; That I won't ever leave your side, not as a partner alone, but as yours in my totality."

Sinking his teeth in, Archimedes finally sunk his teeth into another for the first time of his own accord, savoring the blood of the woman he gave himself to as tribute through his own convictions. She was sweeter than any sugar he had tasted, more flavorful than even the goddess' own blood given as a gift. Though, there was nothing that could be compared to the sensation of marking her for the first time, while hearing her sigh in relief. "Haaah..." The mere sound of her swallowing air had made his blood pump through his body, making it feel lighter and making certain extremities throb as they yearned to explore her the same as well. "Now, it's your turn to tell me... How did I taste? Was I sweet? Bitter? Think you'll get addicted?"

ncGAZTD.jpeg

His eyes glowed as he looked upon her wound, gazing at it as though it was the final piece that made this masterpiece of a woman his. She was beautiful inside and out, and now, she was only his to love so wholeheartedly and intimately. "Sweet enough to make me want more, bitter enough to show me that it was real... And addictive enough to make me not want any other." Pausing, he shook his head at his analogy, believing them to be the wrong words to describe the blood of the woman he loved so much. "... No, that's not right, your blood is the only one I need. I'd be disappointed if I ever tasted anyone else." Kissing her bloodied shoulder, he kept his lips pressed against it until it had a chance to properly heal, not wasting a single drop of the blood she was willing to spill. However, as soon as he was able to regain some form of control over his own emotions again, a new touch had caused that once well-maintained face to crack.

"Mhmm..." Her hands were beginning to explore his body the same, feeling his length for the first time without any barrier to exist between. This was her lover at his most exposed, a scene that few ever got to see and none ever got to find consensually. "Ah... Fuck..." The gentle pumps of her hands were enough to make him throb after all else that he had experienced so far. Though, as if refusing to let himself be the only one receiving any pleasure from this, his fingers began to dig in once again, loving her down to the knuckle in preparation for something larger that were to take its place. One finger became two as her hands picked up momentum, the both of them gaining familiarity over each other's preferred motions. "...To think, your hands would feel so good on me. No wonder I had such a hard time remaining in control around you at the club. Especially so when combined with your flirting."

Alluding to the moment she placed her hand on his crotch while they were behind the bar, the vampire grew more and more honest with every feeling that she lovingly inflicted on his psyche. "You made it hard to take your mind off you ever since. Hell, even after seeing you come out of the fitting room, I'll be honest... There was a part of me that was curious about the Twyla that lay underneath all the clothes." Kissing her on the lips again and again, he took his time indulging in their foreplay. Unlike the vampires he recalled serving with, he wanted to love her with all his body, from his lips to his hands and everything in between. He was hers to envelop herself with and likewise, she was his to love in her entirety.

With one hand massaging her thigh and the other tracing the outline of her depths, Archimedes fondled the softer muscles of her body while kissing the toned edges as well. She was strong yet welcoming, toned and yet cute the same. Slowly bringing up his hand to meet her chest, he placed his forehead on her own, looking deep into her eyes as he breathed onto her lips; Each fleeting breath from each other being one that had only come from each other's intentions on their bodies. "Did you want to take me right here, or... ...Did you want to take me on the bed... sprawled out, just for you to see?" While her touch had made his body impatient, it was the offer of being able to see everything that had gotten him to tremble in her hands. "We've come all this way to finally experience each other at our fullest. I don't think there's anything more fitting than to be able to see each other without even the water in the way."

Lifting her from their shared crimson solution, the detective allowed the water to drain as he cradled one arm underneath her legs and the other around her back to lift her like a princess. Even if his body had yet to fully recover, it was the adrenaline he felt from the sudden surge of excitement that made carrying her feel easy. "Besides, I'm sure you want to feel comfortable too, especially if we're giving our genuine first times to each other." Despite his body being sexually exploited before, this time, he held the mental and emotional connection to give himself to someone on his own terms. Twyla was the only one he ever felt so compelled to share himself with. Seeing the love in her eyes, he cradled her close, peppering her with kisses as he walked their way towards the bedroom before his strength began to give, causing him to fall back onto the bed with her held carefully atop of him.

With a gentle thump of her head atop of his, despite feeling a short splinter of pain, the detective laughed, finding himself making his first fumbling mistake for the first time in front of her. In truth, no matter how much he could plan for it, this was the first time he ever felt like he had control during the lewd act itself, and with his weakened leg, mistakes while being within control were much more likely. "Sorry about that Twy. Looks like I tripped myself being so distracted with you." Feeling safe enough to find humor in his mistakes, it took him a moment before realizing that it was a sign of growth. Once a perfectionist with his image and his plans, somehow, Twyla had made even failing around her feel right. "... You really are something special, you know that? To have made me change so much in such a short span of time. Makes me wish I would've met you earlier. Then again, its not all that bad..."

Pulling back from the bed's edge to give them more room to move, her lover propped himself up against a few pillows to avoid disturbing his injury any more than he had to. While he wanted their first moment to be as intense as it would naturally be, he didn't want it to end up with the doctor complaining to both of them about how he was supposed to be resting. Giving her the control over his body, Arc helped her atop his lap, letting their hips naturally find the right place. Brushing her hair back to get a good look at her face while she adjusted herself, the detective stroked her cheek with his thumb, staring into her eyes before noticing a mirror that rested against one of the bedroom's walls. "Gods, you're beautiful, Twyla. I truly feel lucky to be able to see you and feel you like this." Enamored, he took a moment to enjoy the view without anything else in the way. With every second, he etched each inch of her pale flesh into memory in the hopes that he could love her the same in his dreams too. "Thanks for giving me a happy future worth.... No, a happy present worth fighting for."

His heaven wasn't something that he had to wait for any longer. It was because of her that he was able to find value within himself, that he was able to think of a future, and that he was able to reunite with his sister and be the family she always deserved. Holding her hand with one hand and guiding himself with the other, Arc brought his length towards her entrance, tracing his tip against her without pushing in. Looking up to the girl that deserved to make him hers, he whispered. "I want you to take me at your own pac-Ah~"

As if the confidence she wielded when it came to bringing out the faces that no one else got to see wasn't a sign earlier, before he managed to finish his sentence, his partner didn't keep him waiting. Archimedes melted upon having his most sensitive muscle feel the warmth of her core. Even if his length had yet to be fully enveloped by her body, it was more than enough to fluster him beyond his controlled facade. For a moment, his hand unconsciously reached to cover his face, only for it to stop halfway. She deserved to see his every emotion with open honesty if she was willing to share the same vulnerable side with him. "I-I'm fine. Don't worry about me, Twyla." Reassuring her that his moan wasn't born from pain but rather of pleasure and fulfilled anticipation, he slowly grinded his hips in place. "You just caught me off guard. Please, be my guest and take as much of me as you feel like you could handle. I'll let you know if its ever too much."

Bringing himself towards her to meet her lips, the detective began to make out with her while she found a tempo she was comfortable with. If this was her first time enduring something like this, he didn't want to be too forward and give her too much to handle at once. This was their beginning to a journey, not a race to the finish. To make sure that she was able to enjoy his body the same as he did hers was of utmost priority. "Like... That... Yeah~ Twy..." Her mate moaned as the bed creaked underneath them. While her hips had worked on his own, his hands had explored her hips and waist, embracing each shift of her body. Each motion was made with the intent to bring them both euphoria. "You're doing so well~ Ah... Mhmm...."

After a certain point, Arc held her hips still as his cock twitched inside of her. "One... moment... Please... I want to make this last..." Realizing just how much overwhelming pleasure she was able to deliver him, instead of letting their first time end earlier than expected, he pleaded for a break only to pull out and offer something else in his member's place. Pulling her down onto the bed, to keep her stimulated while giving him some time to cool down, he brought his lips to her own before kissing down her neck and breasts. "Besides, we can't have you doing all the work, can we? This isn't all about me, its about us." Whispering into her body, he kissed her stomach before planting his lips on her hips, grazing his fangs inward until she felt the tingling sensation of his fangs' tips grazing the surface of her inner thighs. "... And I told you, didn't I? I wanted to taste you, both inside and out." Pulling her towards the edge of the bed, her lover buried his head in between her thighs, finally pushing the same muscle she loved hearing the words be pushed inside her: His tongue.

Still tainted with her crimson, he gave her clit a kiss before coiling his tongue inward, curving it in the hopes that his efforts would bring out more sights and sounds from Twyla that none other had heard before. Looking up from her crotch towards her face, he wrapped her arms around her thighs to prevent her from being able to escape his touch, relishing in the flavors of their lust for each other. 'If she's enjoying me this much from my tongue, I wonder what her lips would feel on me as well.' A blush had spilled from his cheeks as he gave his imagination the lewd idea of her on her knees. However, it was placated by the taste of whatever anxieties she might have held before coming into the bathroom spilling out through her lower set of lips.

"... If you keep making sounds and talking like that, Twyla, you're going to make me grow addicted to your company in my bed." Musing against her body, in between eating her out and taking breaths, he voiced the contents of his heart, holding everything out on display for her to see. "Then again, I don't think I'd want to spend a night without you... Especially not after all we've been through... And especially after a day like this." The idea of sharing a bed with her on a regular basis was growing into an increasingly fond thought that beat his many nights alone. To have Twyla be the first face he sees each day and the last he sees at night would be akin to living out a dream come true. There was no place he felt more at ease being at than by her side or in her arms at this point.

Digging his tongue deep in between her folds to open her up to living her further, her partner had sought to ease her muscles to his touch, massaging her thighs with his hands all the way through him offering her the feeling of his lips. "Maybe if we sleep together too, I wouldn't mind waking you up like this from time to time. You seem to like the feeling of me inside you already... Unless you prefer waking me up another way too." A fanged smile had flashed in her direction, glistening from the love she spilled atop his mouth. "... Only you." Resting his head on her stomach for a moment, he hugged her waist. "... Its only you who I feel safe with sleeping beside... And sleeping with..."
