β β β β β honeyed words escaped the saccharine lips of a mysterious woman whose alluring voice invited yuna far before a glance β a glance that came to intrigue her as dark eyes finally fell upon the charming speaker. yuna couldnβt repress the slightest raise of her brow as she stared back at a brunette who prompted one thought yuna doubted was particularly unique upon seeing her: ah, sheβs pretty. beneath the flickering, strobing lights of the club, she could discern the woman was a bit shorter than she was herself, with wispy bangs and long hair the colour of warm chocolate. her eyes were dark, but the look in them ensnaring, and the coy smile tugged at her lips was the sweetest cherry on top igniting a beaming spark that drew yuna in no better than a moth to a flame.
β β β β β with a touch feather-light, yuna's palms slipped down the womanβs arms. βoh, no, iβm fine,β she assured, lips momentarily parted as if there was more to say, but her breath was hastily stolen by the pressure of a hand clasping around her own. was she?... she was. yuna certainly possessed the strength to hold herself still, to dig her heels into the floor and secure herself like a statue to ground. however, she allowed the woman to drag her footstep after footstep, flowing like a ship carried by the waves through a sea of people. and close this wave was, rippling and lapping at her arms, her skin occasionally brushing the fabric of the womanβs outfit or their feet clumsily entangling on the floor. it drew the slightest amused smile across yuna's lips. certainly, she wasnβt the only one who needed to sit.
β β β β β the brunette was the first on the couch, and yuna didnβt hesitate to follow. her palms rested back on the cushion, knees spreading just enough to brush the leg of the mystery woman. as charming as the smile across her face was, there was also something there ofβ¦ thrill. hardly was it that yuna was the chased instead of the chaser, and she wasnβt foolish enough to be confused why. she wasnβt in any way a man, but her presentation, the clothing, the overwhelming confidenceβ¦ some women from prior experiences might as well have treated her like one. but just like any woman, yuna enjoyed being sought after. who was it, truly, that was the moth or the flame?
β β β β β for a moment, yuna hummed, as if thinking. βsparkling water is not really my thingβ¦ but there is something i want more.β yuna's dark eyes stared directly at the brunette next to her for a few moments, gaze lowering down the womanβs body. intentionally obvious, her eyes drew up the smooth, exposed thighs peeking below the fabric of her dress, up the curve of her hips and waist, the crook of an inviting neck, lips candied with pink gloss, and finally back up to chocolatey eyes. βyour name. i wouldnβt let a pretty girl buy me anything without knowing that at least.β this girl, whoever she was, would perhaps find herself lucky that she ran β or rather got ran into by another woman who was eager to partake in her game of flirtation. βand if youβre wonderingβ¦ you can call me yuna, or whatever else you may like.ββ

my character is an imugi, a mythical lesser dragon that can transcend to a full dragon by catching a legendary orb (yeouiju) from the sky. after hundreds of years inhabiting a massive lake, the imugi takes her first steps onto land in her mortal disguise when the yeouiju falls into the heart of a fantasy country. she is arrogant, lowkey a bit narcissistic, and very crass about her superiority given she has spent years being worshipped as a dragon of the lake. however, much to her misfortune, she is very unfamiliar with navigating the mortal world and blending in, so she seeks the assistance of a land-dweller more capable than her.
there is a lot of variability in what your character could be. a pirate captain seeking a great treasure (like the yeouiju). a naval officer of the countryβs military just trying to do their job. a humble fisher. a worshipper of my characterβs shrine who is reluctantly turned into an adventurer. whatever ideas you have, you are welcome to throw them at me! your character doesn't need to be entirely human, either.β

in a low cyberpunk setting, as technology has advanced, so has the rate of crime. to catch a criminal, you need to think like a criminal β perhaps even be a criminal. in an experimental project conducted by the police forces, officers/investigators are partnered with a criminal in exchange for a reduced sentence. the criminals are heavily monitored with a variety of different accessories/modifications that track their location/can sedate them in times of need.
my character is an investigator, a bit more serious and seemingly aloof, while your character is a charming criminal. my character might seem unassuming, but perhaps there is more than meets the eye.
note: i'm welcome to adding powers into this if it makes anything more interesting?? think of something similar to how quirks function in bnha. small abilities that can aid them in some way. β

in a fantasy kingdom, the royal bloodline is the sole family capable of taming/harnessing the powers of dragon shifters. however, the bond between them is not so mutual, as royalty have long since abused the powers of the dragons and manipulated them like theyβre no better than dogs. typically, the heir to the throne β usually the prince β is delegated a dragon shifter companion who has spent their life imprisoned in a secluded cavern. the prince, bloodthirsty, hot-headed, and rash, often depended on his dragon shifter to win various fights (whether personal or for the kingdom). the only other (known) descendant of the king is the princess, who is known for being polite and diplomatic, as most princesses are. after the prince suddenly and mysteriously dies, the princess is the only child of the king remaining and is delegated the next heir to the throne. she is bestowed the prince's former dragon shifter, and the shifter realizes that the princess might not be as passive as they thought. β

within the imperial courts, two concubines are known for their consistent rivalry and constant fights. one of them is the most beloved by the emperor, while the other one is bitter and vying for his affection. however, their fights come to a cease one day when the latter of the two becomes extremely sick with an unknown illness. by the emperor's command, he sends a lady in waiting of his favorite concubine, a skilled apothecary, to the sick concubine.
the concubine, of course, is bitter to have anything to do with her rival and her lady in waiting. she's suspicious as well, wondering if the other concubine is responsible for her illness or sending a spy in the form of the lady in waiting. the lady in waiting, on the other hand, is in awe. the lady in waiting has always found the concubine extremely beautiful, as well as respectable and level-headed to her own ladies. as such, she is eager to assist the sick concubine who doesn't seem to like her at first... but perhaps there's a way of making her have a change of heart?β

in a vast, dense city (think something like new york), two of the largest gangs have been fighting for control for years. after a massive battle breaks out between the two gangs, one of the gang leaders is severely injured and knocked out. turns out, the fight was coordinated all along in order to get the injured gang leader into a tight spot. the police are on the way quick, and unable to do anything unconscious, their fellow gang members quickly scamper away, leaving the gang leader behind. a few days later, the gang leader wakes up with blurry memories, but they are surprised to find that they are not within the cells of a prison. instead, they awaken inside a secluded room of a brothel, to the owner of the establishment who is a woman as confident as she is alluring. the brothel owner has quite a reputation herself and has previously been loosely associated with the rival gang. however, she has a proposition to make in exchange for keeping the gang leader free from prison. thus begins their exchange, with the gang leader visiting the brothel under the guise that she is just there for a night of fun. β

it's often difficult to tell who a person truly is beyond the screen. in the future where technology has advanced to make virtual reality gaming feel extremely realistic, our characters enjoy playing an mmorpg in order to unwind after their long days. although the game has been marketed as a simple 18+ fantasy open world rpg, the player base knows that it is also a site for quick and easy hookups. our characters are very familiar with it themselves. after meeting each other in a raid, our characters quickly became friends, and something beyond the lines of that. even as friends with benefits, they get along well, often asking their fellow internet friend if they have the time to game or just chat. feelings start to blur in the gaming world, but what if the person they've been talking to is the last person they expected this whole time?
possible pairings: boss x employee (have a slight preference for the boss), academic rivals in a prestigious university, exes who still see each other due to mutual friends, athletic/musical rivalries β

in a fantasy east asian setting, there exists ravenous demons that feast off the flesh and blood of humans. these demons gain immense strength and their own magical powers at the cost of losing some of their humanity. demons are turned when they consume the blood/flesh of another demon and as of yet, there is no known way of reverting a demon back to a human. however, your character, someone who has been a demon for several years and is closely associated with the progenitor of all demons, is looking for a way to eliminate all other demons and/or embrace their own humanity once more. news spreads of an enigmatic apothecary who has worked miracles treating not only humans, but demons (a reputation which has unfortunately shunned her from many villages and towns). it i also rumoured that the apothecary is attempting to figure out a serum/method of turning demons back into humans. with this in mind, the demon makes a fateful visit to the apothecary, but they come peacefully.β

i'm not sure why but this series just has a chokehold on me when it comes to writing. i love the world, the creativity with the characters, and the amount of possibilities. the story itself? less for me to comment on... but this series is lowkey a childhood one of mine and so i have a massive soft spot for it! would love to write already graduated huntresses (or maybe something with a villain). we can figure out specifics on a dynamic together since i don't actually have any premade ocs -- i like to make new ones on the spot. β

this is another fandom that i enjoy enough to take some loose inspiration from. keep in mind that it's been YEARS since i watched the show/read the manga so it's a given that i will forget something or get it wrong. would love to write a nutty investigator x someone's ghoul oc. nutty in the sense that she is extremely calculating and fascinated about ghouls. an "i want to literally pick you apart" sort of quirky. someone who's a bit desensitized, maybe even a bit sociopathic, but has an unusual interest in your character for aesthetic and actual logical purpose. there's a lot of ways we could go about it that i'm happy to discuss!β
