in a low cyberpunk setting, as technology has advanced, so has the rate of crime. to catch a criminal, you need to think like a criminal β perhaps even be a criminal. in an experimental project conducted by the police forces, officers/investigators are partnered with a criminal in exchange for a reduced sentence. the criminals are heavily monitored with a variety of different accessories/modifications that track their location/can sedate them in times of need.
my character is an investigator, a bit more serious and seemingly aloof, while your character is a charming criminal. my character might seem unassuming, but perhaps there is more than meets the eye.
note #1: i'm welcome to adding powers into this if it makes anything more interesting. think something similar to how quirks function in bnha -- small abilities that can aid them in some way.
note #2: i am looking to write someone who is on the calmly charismatic side. in the sense that she's a little mysterious and unpredictable, definitely calculated and more than meets the eye. a puzzle waiting to be solved. i would really like a dynamic that has strong sexual tension just because i think that's always really fun to write. β - legendary apothecary (mc) x high ranking demon (yc)

in a fantasy east asian setting, there exists ravenous demons that feast off the flesh and blood of humans. these demons gain immense strength and their own magical powers at the cost of losing some of their humanity. humans are turned into demons when they consume the blood/flesh of another demon and as of yet, there is no known way of reverting a demon back to a human. however, your character, someone who has been a demon for several years and is closely associated with the progenitor of all demons, is looking for a way to eliminate all other demons and/or embrace their own humanity once more. news spreads of an enigmatic apothecary who has worked miracles treating not only humans, but demons (a reputation which has unfortunately shunned her from many villages and towns). it is also rumoured that the apothecary is attempting to figure out a serum/method of turning demons back into humans. with this in mind, the demon makes a fateful visit to the apothecary.β - sorceress x sorceress
