Good day, one and all; I hope you're well! This is my fandom-centric thread (my general thread viewable here), and I'm presently hyperfixated on two specific fandom universes: Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z/Super! To be shamelessly transparent, I admit particularly seeking partners open to playing certain canons opposite a male OC. I wouldn't insist upon or request rigid canon adherence; I love to see partners put their personal spin/headcanons onto a character.)
I'm not looking to roleplay any dark and gritty/deadly-serious lines, or where sex is abusive/exploitative/degrading/rapey in vibe. Tone-wise, I'm looking for something highspirited, campy and outright noblebright in tone (and I'm equally game for more slice-of-life stuff). Copious tongue-in-cheek humor and comedy, levity, hardedged "Fuck you!" positivity, over-the-top battles, romance, plenty of loving sexy/smutty goodness and banter, quiet moments of character growth, high stakes (when needed) and—above all else—a general sense of fun (the characters openly enjoying each other's company and the situations they find themselves in). You know, that kind of stuff.

◆ Looking to Play: Largely "switch" male characters (can sway a bit into gentle sub or gentle/pleasure dom)-2D/art/anime character playbys only

◆ Post Length: 2-4 solid paragraphs on average (3rd-person POV, past tense only). See this post for some Pokémon-specific writing samples.
◆ Post Speed/Frequency: Laidback (at least one reply a week); will be quick to alert partners of any time hiccups
◆ RP Lengths*: One-shot; short-term; long-term
◆ On the Story-Smut Ratio: Equally game for story-driven smut (roughly even balance of plot and sexy funtimes) and character-focused, fetish-centric PWP (where the characters have a preexisting/established relationship, skipping over the "intro" of how they wound up together).
◆ OOC Conversation: I enjoy casual chunnnering and geeking out over lines with partners (sharing line-related media, personal headcanons, etc.), but it isn't strictly required.
◆ On Pausing/Ending Lines: I'm fine with putting lines on hiatus when a partner needs, and am typically fine with waiting considerable periods between responses if partners keep me in the loop. That said, I will end a line after more than three weeks of unaccounted-for radio silence.
*I honestly prefer starting with a one-shot, and then expanding it to something long-term if mutual interest and circumstances allow. This helps avoid "premature elaboration", that RP affliction where a line is assumed to be long-term from the outset and so much time/energy is spent plotting the RP and worldbuilding the RP and talking about the RP that...well, we never get around to doing the RP.

Pokémon 
I like to ret-con the setting so characters must be 18 years old before they can become a Pokémon trainer, Coordinator or whatever.
I'm looking for something campy and outright noblebright in tone that maintains the anime's light, playful vibe. I particular request that partners...
◓ Have a solid familiarity with the Pokémon universe! (If it's been years since you last played any of the games or watched the anime, we might not be compatible.)
◓ Be willing to write semi-descriptive Pokémon battles (with Pokémon being merely KO'd rather than maimed/killed) and put creative spins on attacks a la the anime!
◓ Ignore the games' "Four Moves of Doom" limit in favor of a Pokémon being able to use (and potentially learn) many of their given moves!

I've got two general open-ended ideas in mind, and I'm open to alterations.
◆ Idea 1
Plot-wise, the classic Pokémon journey is very much something I'd be down for playing. (I'd greatly prefer our characters be relatively experienced, rather than them just starting out or beginning their journeys.) Highspirited adventures and journeys, that's the ticket. Ideally, a sort of rom-com deal with plenty of fluffy funtimes between two traveling trainers/Coordinators/Frontier Brains/Elite Four members/whatever crushing on each other, with plenty of lighthearted—and lightheartedly smutty—slice-of-life moments (a Pokémon capture, a tournament or festival battle encounter Meet Cute, those sorts of things).
Related, I'd certainly be open for some slice-of-life lines exploring the day-to-day aspects of our characters' careers (training, being in the mood to celebrate after an especially intense/noteworthy victory, one needing reassurance after a narrow or devastating loss, etc.). Or perhaps our characters have arrived at some annual meet n' greet for newly-minted Elite Four members/Top Coordinators/Frontier Brains, returning to some elite Pokémon academy as newly minted professors.

Another idea I have involves our characters being rivals and two of their generation's most talented figures. (I'd especially love it if they had sharply different approaches to both life and their fields, one being a fiery force majure on the battlefield/stage, while the other's the calm eye in the raging storm.) You know, them being intense yet oddly-respectful rivals and foils with an "iron sharpening iron" mentality, their prodigious skills eclipsed only by the captivating nature of how different they are. (It could also be their form of courtship.) A constant shifting tide of counterplays where they trade victories regularly, and their cordial interactions in public always carried an undercurrent of competition that wouldn't fail to draw the media's attention. Of course, such constant shifting power plays would (ideally) extend to the bedroom as well.
While the media would be aware of the pair's red-hot rivalry, they wouldn't be privy to the guy firmly fucking the girl in the hotel shower just hours before she won a place as the newest member of her region's Elite Four. They wouldn't know of how the girl sloppily blew her rival a few hours before he went out to decisively win the latest Coordinator contest. And the pair would have an unspoken understand that, after every battle they have with each other, the loser shows up to the winner's room and obtains revenge by edging/fucking/dominating the winner into mush. That sort of thing.

◓ From the Pokémon anime, I'd love to find someone open to playing as Jessie (#1 choice), Misty, Bea, Officer Jenny, Delia Ketchum, May (preferably with some influence from her manga self) or Bianca.
◓ As for female OCs--while not required, some dream OC faceclaims are in this album--I'd love to see partners play one of the following character archetypes...

- The darkly-alluring Dark Action Girl who is Reformed But Not Tamed. (As Hozier puts it in his song Arsonist's Lullaby, such a woman "never tames her demons, but always keeps them on a leash".)
- The proud, strong-minded Lovable Alpha Bitch who frequently gets her way. (Think Regina George from Mean Girls, or a non-psychotic Azula from Avatar the Last Airbender or Revy from Black Lagoon.)
- The cheerful, passionate female fighter and Girly Bruiser who's like if someone "took energy drinks, rave parties, overly excited puppies and the metaphorical concept of happiness and mixed them all together in a blender".
Dragon Ball Z/Super 
Things can be partially/entirely canon-divergent or AU, or played within a specific "saga" if preferred; I'm easy and flexible. Tone-wise, I want to keep the Dragon Ball series's largely tongue-in-cheek goofy martial arts comedy/adventure tone. While I'm certainly game for over the top fight scenes, I'm not looking for graphic violence/brutality, gore, torture and the like. Something our characters can recover from with a Senzu Bean is fine; anything requiring a wish from Porunga or Super Shenron is a hard pass.
✪ Sparring Match: Very much a classic and tailor-made for the DBZ-verse. Our characters meeting in some clear area for an arranged sparring match—things getting hot and heavy during that match, the exertion of close-quarters combat and physical strain turning into a heated round of fight-fucking—is always a viable outcome. If our characters already have some existing sexual tension, intense sparring could shatter that barrier and result in an intense round of fight-fucking (or full-on Destructo-Nookie if they're really into each other or have considerable tension to work out). Erotic/kinky use of powers and techniques is the focus here, but I'll pass on anything that removes self-agency (brainwashing, mind control, hypnotism, etc.).
✪ Hunting the Dragon Balls: One of the classic ideas, our characters could be hunting for the Dragon Balls, whether separately, as a team for a common goal (since it would be assumed said Dragon Balls can grant two or three wishes), or working together but each having secret ulterior motives.
✪ Tournament Arc: Again, one of the classic staples of the Dragon Ball universe. A classic fight in some tournament—or even an entire tournament arc—is also something I would be game for doing.
✪ The New God(dess) of Destruction: An AU sorta deal where one of the listed ladies ascends to the ranks of the Gods of Destruction. (I am very much open to how this happens and have a few ideas depending on the chosen character, and also have a potential starter for this.)
✪ Slice-of-life: A moment of downtime between our characters, without world/universe-spanning threats for the time being. (I do have a few potential ideas for some desired characters I'll share via PM.)
✪ Hunting the Dragon Balls: One of the classic ideas, our characters could be hunting for the Dragon Balls, whether separately, as a team for a common goal (since it would be assumed said Dragon Balls can grant two or three wishes), or working together but each having secret ulterior motives.

On my end, I'm looking to play either of these mentioned OCs (though I have others, particularly a Frost Demon, I'd be game for digging out of storage).
While I'm game for partners playing fierce, passionate, powerful female warrior OCs (female Saiyans, female Frost Demons/members of Frieza's race, Majins, Cerealians, female Hera warriors and the like), I certainly wouldn't pass on a partner open to playing one of the below canon ladies. I wouldn't demand or expect rigid canon adherence; I would love to see partners put their personal spin on a character, and will happily write opposite an AU canon (whether it be a slight tweaking of personality/backstory to better suit us or whathaveyou).
