The game will start on Eden, a planet with an eight digit population.
Eden is warmer than most find comfortable, but still eminently livable.
The native biosphere is not edible or compatible with humans, but it is compatible with the natives.
Natives are the Draal, a large tauric species. Their upper torsos are semi-humanoid, with four limbs and a squat head, while their lower half is a six-limbed equine form.

My character idea is an Expert Dilettante, basically she knows people, and all she does is make them connect... Kind of a fixer, but for people, not things.
Rolled the character, and got an useless in combat or anything else kind of party-goer... :)
Focus: Connected Lvl 2
Skills: Connect 2, Perform 0
Attributes: 8/14/14/12/5/18

I've been thinking I might like to play a Psychic.
Specifically, I'm thinking of a former med student with biopsionic powers (and maybe a little bit of precognition or telepathy). Her abilities gave her a free ride to an excellent school and a guaranteed career - but in a moment of clarity she realised that she didn't want the life that had been paved for her, and so dropped out and fled to the stars in an attempt to take control of her own destiny.

Oh, follow up question, would it be ok to roll but not assign in order? (I.e. roll 3d6 6 times, then assign the scores to whichever?)

I'd rather a Google Doc or something else that doesn't need to be downloaded to be viewed.
That being said, looking at the PC... Looks good!

Hmm.. lemme see what I can find that isn't a google doc.
(Both for privacy reasons and because I hate google)

I'm going to be a bit slow to get my character up. I've got the rolls done, but that's probably the majority of what I can get done at work. Should be able to start character creation in about 5-ish hours.

That's entirely fair.
You could just have a sheet in your first post too-just in a spoiler.

Awesomesauce. :)

Could go with Myth Weavers, that's what I'll probably be going with myself.
That was actually my first choice. But it seems like they only have a non revised version of the system? Unless I'm incredibly blind

Also, I find it slightly funny that neither of the two people who originally replied to the thread seem to be interested.

Seems that way. If I encounter any problems with it, I'll ditch it, but that's what I'll start with since revised didn't seem to be altogether too different.

Oh, that might work. Might also wait a few hours and see if @Ironuyh is able to make it successfully on mythweavers. If so I'll go that route

Alright. Seems Myth Weavers was a bust. Searched around and found an automated google doc on reddit, and then I completed my character. Here are all the rolls I got in the making of said character.

The important bits for background were that MC was personal security for an affluent noble-type that was really into making enemies, and thus needed a well-trained squad to quell rather common attempts on his life. One such attempt was successful, and Maeve managed to avoid the execution the other bodyguards got as cameras caught them basically letting the assassins through without issue, while she actually made efforts to fight them back. However, for her failure, she was herein blacklisted from anything to do with the family, which basically meant the only thing on her homeworld that was available to her was a ride out of it. So, she took it, and has been slumming it doing mercenary work. She's on Eden between jobs as her last one left her here, but she's been stickin' around for a while (about a month) because she finds the place and its peoples interesting enough.

So 2 things. I tried to look at your sheet but it needs a request to access (i don't know if that's deliberate)

And 2, would you wanna share *part* of the backstory? That being the job which left Maeve out there?

Kelly (mc) is a ship pilot by trade and hobby, I figured she might've flown the passenger liner that Maeve was on, and is now also stuck looking for work (either got shitcanned or the liner needs maintenance and she's not getting paid for that time so needs a side job)

Always the last step I mess up with these things. Should be fine now.

Yeah, assuming Kelly asked her somehow. If it's a passenger liner, I'd imagine we would've had little chance to talk. Maybe she just sought out the passengers first? Maeve wouldn't have any issue speaking about her work, but would probably dissuade Kelly unless she knows how to fight at all, since that's generally the main shtick of Maeve's jobs.

Looking good so far.
I’m at work right now, but I’ll add a few more details when I get home.
