Caly and Cassian were just looking over for a brief moment in time and Cassian was just nodding his head, before gesturing for her to speak. This had Azalea looking before she spoke, "The Wilde Isles, far to the east. That medium sized island that lay on the opposite side of the mountains." This had Caly just frowning before she was stating that the isles really didn't have that much of an army at all, yet again with how many nations Cassian's father had pissed off.... she could foresee many of them joining forces against him. This had Cassian just letting out a slow breath of air before he was speaking, "I don't know what to do to calm the situation."
Caly was just looking before she was speaking, "We shall hold a ball. We will invite all of the dignitaries from all of the kingdoms to this ball. It can even be stated within the letter that this is to speak about peace treaties and trying to right the wrongs of the king before you. Feel free to use my name as well - that I have allied with you. If people should write to me about it I'll reassure them that you are good on your word and that wrongs will try to be rewritten."
"What if I cannot fix what my father broke?" Cassian was questioning.
Caly was just gently smiling before she was speaking, "The best you can do is try. At least trying is better than pretending it didn't happen. Yes you cannot bring back the dead. But you can console the family and offer a sincere condolence. It may not seem like anything to them - but it is still something. You are at least trying to apology for what you had no part in. You are trying to do what you can to fix wrongs that you had nothing to do with. Trust me. I am still doing this same thing in my own kingdom."
