As they got back into the house, he put the keys back on the table. And climbed upstairs with Luna on her back. When he reached her bedroom he layed her onto it and put the covers on her. "It's cold, take a nap. I'll be here with you." He said, with that he held her hand and laid his head next to hers. He didn't quite drift away as he had so much on his mind.
 
Luna held onto him as he carried her up the stairs, not protesting when he took her into her bedroom and laid her down onto her bed before covering her up. "As long as you'll be here when I wake up." "Too many. I lost count." He replied.
Jake got up and did some stretching exercises like always, otherwise he wouldn't be able to function properly. "What now Luna?" He asked, he expected her to want to do something instead of sitting at home at 7pm. Living in a rented house- hours away from there parents. They had the luxuries of freedom at there hand.
 
She shrugged. "What do you mean 'what now'?" Luna asked, unsure of what kind of answer he wanted from her. As fun as going out somewhere with Jake would be she felt that they needed time alone together. Plus, if he wanted to tell her just how much he loved her the two of them being alone would allow him to do so. Before the two of them did much of anything she wanted to get a bath, it would help relax her which was something both of them clearly needed after the past couple of days.
 
"Don't worry. I'm gonna take a bath- if you wanna come. I think it'd be best for both of us.. it'll help relax us too." He insisted. He pulled out a new towel from a drawer in her room and went to his for a fresh pair of boxers. He laid them on the floor of the bathroom and sat on the toilet seat staring at the door expecting her to come.
 
Luna was a bit hesitant to follow him to the bathroom, but stopped in the doorway and looked at him. "Are you sure we should be doing this together?" She asked, know that at their ages two siblings bathing together was wrong. It seemed that Luna wasn't believing him when he said he loved her, or at least she didn't think he meant it outside of the way a brother was supposed to love his sister.
 
"It's fine. In only we know anyway." He implied. Taking off his shirt. His biceps were almost 20 inches of muscle, and he was proud of it. Luna watched him get up and was sad to watch him leave her in the tub. She turned off the water and climbed out, wrapping a towel around her before following him, but stopping in his doorway. "I'm sorry I didn't react the way you wanted." She said, hoping he would answer her. "I do love you, Jake but no matter what we feel, we can't be together. It's against the law."
 
"Your got angry because i let my ex inbetween us, and you let the law inbetween us. Your such a hypocrite" He muttered to himself while face palming. He thought he would accept him now that his girlfriend was gone, but he was wrong. The way she rejected him replayed over and over in his head until. He considered moving away, maybe back to where his parents lived. Sinking back into the comfortness of the pillows he fell asleep- he didn't expect Luna to be there when he woke up like he was always there for her. Not anymore.
 
"Why should I let my walls down and trust you Jake, so I can get my heart broken when you decide that I'm not worth it anymore and you go get with some other bitch like that ex of yours?" Luna asked, sure that he knew that tears were beginning to fill her eyes by just listening to her talk. Once she was done talking she didn't stick around for an answer, though. She walked down the hall to her room and closed the door behind her, going to get dressed. Not a where that Jake was thinking of moving back to where their parents lived.
 
Jake decided he would leave tomorrow morning, it wasn't permanent he hoped. Just a small break. He walked across the hallway and pickedup the phone and began dialing. "Hi Dad. Yeah, I'm coming home to stay for a bit. Things have gotten complicated between me and Luna, I think it's best we stay away from eachother" He said, it hurt him so bad to say that; inside he wanted to be with her so bad. But she wasn't willing to trust him, not even her own brother who she'd know all her life. He'd lost nearly all hope he'd had in her.
 
Since the phone was right across from her room she could hear everything he was saying to their dad. She sat up from where she was laying on her bed and walked over, opening the door. She was just in her robe, not feeling like putting real clothes on and she waited for him to get off the phone to say anything. "Are you really leaving?" She asked, and if he were to take one look at her she had obviously been crying.
 
Jake looked at her, he noticed the the makeup she'd woarn had been messed up by her tears. "Yeah. Unless you decide to love me." He said calmly. Brushing past her into his room. He began packing- though he didn't know where to start. For now he just packed some clothes into a suitcase. Obviously, Jake secretly wanted her to stop him from all this but he knew the chances were slim. Then he saw her at the doorway of his room. He smiled. "Come sit with me Luna." He asked.
