Plot Discovery This thread is dedicated to listing my plots. If nothing strikes your interest here, yet you still want to roleplay with me, please just send me a message and I'm sure we can work something out. That said, I have organised this post with the following categories: modern, historical and futuristic. Modern plots are held in a recent time period (think 1980s-present), they have all the joys of the internet with the miscommunication to match (*wink*). Historical plots range from realism to fantasy, containing the dark ages, wild west and everything in between. I especially enjoy deriving inspiration from myths and current media to create these plots. Futuristic plots are, perhaps, my broadest category. Plots contained in this section range from interplanetary expeditions, to the apocalypse and anything that could possibly occur in the future. Anything in my plots is open to interpretation and adjustment; including the genders of characters, tropes and time periods etc. For the majority of these plots, I have arranged for myself to play [CHARACTER A] and you to play [CHARACTER B], however, that is also open to discussion and altercation. |
Modern Plots Enter Sandman espionage gone wrong | drama | action [CHARACTER A] is an adept field agent, who was ordered to be captured by the enemy in order to infiltrate into their holding cells. From there, she was instructed to rescue a colleague, a fellow spy disguised as an interrogator, whose true identity was about to be made known to the criminal enterprise—risking both the mission and his life. However, [CHARACTER A]'s efforts and life may be in similar peril, as it is not her colleague who approaches her first, but rather, an unknown variable (other interrogator, foot soldier, etc.), [CHARACTER B]. Trapped and at their mercy, will [CHARACTER A] be able to complete her mission—or, better yet, escape alive. One More Night crime | drama | action An aspiring journalist, [CHARACTER A] has landed in the 'den' of the criminal mastermind of the undercity; a place riddled with drugs, death and betrayal. [CHARACTER A] thought she was clever, carefully navigating the club like a local. She spent weeks visiting it, reporting on her findings and inching closer and closer to unmasking the identity of the undercity's crime boss, [CHARACTER B]. However, just as [CHARACTER A] has been watching them, [CHARACTER B] has been watching her. On [CHARACTER A]'s latest visit to the club, [CHARACTER B] figures it is time they met and has her escorted to his office. Punch Out sponsor with benefits | drama | action [CHARACTER A] is an underground boxer, who uses the profit of her winnings to pay off her debt. After one of her matches, she is approached by [CHARACTER B], who offers to sponsor her and help with her debt in exchange for other "opportunities". Seeing the cash rather than the offer at hand, [CHARACTER A] accepts and her life is bound with [CHARACTER B]'s for the foreseeable future. Open Ocean spicy | drama | action [CHARACTER A] is a contract killer, hired by [CHARACTER B]'s rich fiancée while [CHARACTER B] is attending a bachelor/bachelorette yacht party. [CHARACTER A] disguises herself as the entertainment, planning to kill and dispose of his body in the open sea. However, [CHARACTER A]'s plans end abruptly, and she cancels the contract; money is only a number after all, and [CHARACTER B] is loaded (in more ways than one). |
Historical Plots Bite Me, I Dare fantasy | vampires | drama [CHARACTER A] is a solitary huntress, a vampire who lives in an ostentatious fortress. To pass her time, [CHARACTER A] is known to lure suspecting hunters into her den, to, well, play with her dinner. [CHARACTER A] takes pleasure in the game, after all, eternity is such a long time to be bored. [CHARACTER B] is an upcoming hunter, with a drive to avenge the death of someone important who was drained by [CHARACTER A]. After successfully sneaking their way into the fortress, [CHARACTER B] is approached by [CHARACTER A] who proposes a contest: [CHARACTER B] will be allowed to try and kill [CHARACTER A] for an entire month, if they succeed, they win. If they fail, they will be forever trapped to live out eternity with [CHARACTER A]. Let the games begin. Crown of Sand action | ancient rome | drama Trained from a young age, [CHARACTER A] is a champion in the arena. Her combat prowess has crowned her the title of Ravager, and the attention of countless admirers. One admirer is [CHARACTER B], the child of her patron. While [CHARACTER A]'s success allows her more privileges than most champions, she is still prohibited from engaging with [CHARACTER B]. However, while forbidden to both characters, [CHARACTER A] and [CHARACTER B] have been enjoying each other's company for quite some time. One night, they are caught together, an act of disobidence that would see [CHARACTER A] executed and [CHARACTER B] disgraced. To save [CHARACTER A]'s life, both characters escape together—however, the excitement is far from over, as they are being hunted down. Put Poison in My Cup affair | medieval | drama The economy of [CHARACTER A]'s kingdom has been crippled, as supply and trade routes are blocked from her neighbouring kingdom. To rectify this, and restore wealth back to her people, [CHARACTER A] marries the King of her neighbouring kingdom, a man twice her age. [CHARACTER B] is a close advisor to the monarch that she married. After getting to know each other, the two formed an alliance—and secret affair. In exchange for company, [CHARACTER B] is helping [CHARACTER A] to outplay the King and usurp the throne for herself. Ivory Lover twisted | medieval | drama [CHARACTER A] is a princess, and the unfortunate object of [CHARACTER B]'s redirected ire. Years after being mistreated by the King, [CHARACTER B] has become the usurper to his throne. He swore to destroy everything the King held dear. In his attack, [CHARACTER B] disposed of the old king, his wife and [CHARACTER A]'s betrothed. But, for some reason, [CHARACTER B] could not kill [CHARACTER A]. Perhaps it was the immediate infatuation that landed [CHARACTER A] somewhere worse than death—the bed of her sworn enemy. Let the Hunt Begin action | fantasy | adventure By order of the Council, magic has been outlawed on the continent. [CHARACTER A] is a true-born witch, unable to "switch off" her abilities. [CHARACTER B] is a hunter, who trained under a special order of knights taught how to maim, capture and kill magic users. After graduating the program, [CHARACTER B] became a mercenary, a weapon for hire. [CHARACTER B] isolated themselves from the order, using what they had taught to complete contracts. That was, until they were offered a reward they could not refuse. Capture [CHARACTER A] and return them, alive, to the Tower of Tahlthe. They will then be gifted 1000 acres of land and all the gold held within Adver Keep. [CHARACTER B], alongside hundreds of other knights, accepted the contract. The hunt was now on for [CHARACTER A]. |
