Hello there!
As I'm settling into the new year (slowly, but we're getting there), I've been struck by a renewed craving for something organized-crime-related. Sappy mob-romances, Romeo and Juliet-esque tales between rival syndicates, Sex, Drugs an some sweet Violence...That kind of thing.
I'd like to keep it somewhat grounded, so more "Eastern Promises" and less "John Wick" (either way, cold-blooded killers in sharp suits are always on the table!)

MC(Link) is the niece and heiress of a powerful cartel-bos....But she was also raised catholic and despite her involvement in various criminal activities (or maybe because of those?) regularly attends mass and confession. Where she meets YC, a young priest who has just taken over the parish.
During confession, MC doesn't just recount her sins but also asks for guidance, how to be a good person in a bad world...A question YC can't quite answer. The two, intrigued with each other develop an unlikely friendship, which turns into an affair...Forbidden fruits are the sweetest, after all.

After a lengthy and bloody conflict, the russian mob and [criminal organization of your choice] have reached a peace-agreement. To seal the deal, MC(Link), the boss' spoiled daughter is send to their former rivals. Both as a token of good faith and to make sure, their joint business ventures run smoothly.
YC, the rival organization's heir is given the (dubious) honour to make sure their valued guest is both safe, comfortable and entertained...which proves quite the task, given that said guest is the spoiled brat of a russian mob-boss.
Optional Sideplot:
Obviously, the boss' didn't send his daughter alone. To make sure she's save, she's accompanied by one of his soldiers, suffering from the same combination of boredom and distrust...

Being the son of an important russian mafia-boss came with with a lot of privileges for YC, but also a few expectations. Expectations that YC was eager to fulfill. When he finally got an opportunity to prove himself, by being given his own piece of territory to manage, he eagerly went to work....And fucked it up. Not catastrophically, but YC's father made it clear that he was very disappointed. But he was willing to give YC a second chance...Under the condition, that he would get some supervision, to make sure things go smoothly from now on.
So he sends MC(Link ), his trusted lawyer to act as YC's babysitter. Something that YC might not be terribly thrilled about....at first.

Since YC's muscle also gave a rather poor performance, YC's father also sends one of his best enforcers, to whip the soldiers into shape.

Since the death of their parents, MC(Link) and her older brother only had each other to rely on. That is until MC's brother got involved in the Yakuza, which brought MC into those circles as well. While MC's brother had always kept her away from the more unsavoury sides of his business, MC is very aware what her brother is involved in.
YC is a cop, who has been on the heels of the Yakuza for quite a while. While attending some event undercover, he notices MC and decides, that he has to save this poor innocent girl from her brother's bad influence.
Is this noble intention honest, or just a pretense for a less savoury obsession? And what does YC do, once he realizes that MC doesn't feel the need to be saved from anything?

YC just got married to a high-ranking Yakuza-member and somewhat surprisingly found herself knee-deep in the criminal underworld. Being a rather shy and quiet person, YC feels mostly overwhelmed and intimidated to suddenly pushed into the position of a mobster's wife.
Which is, when she makes the acquaintance of MC(Link), the wife of her husband's boss. MC takes YC under her wing, showing her the ropes and not only how to survive in their world, but also how to make something out of her position, rather than just being armcandy...

Maybe she just wants to be a spectator, maybe she managed to scrape enough money together for a slick, used motorcycle and wants to race herself...Either way, she gets dragged into the dangerous, thrilling world of pimped rides, sex, drugs and high-stakes gambling surrounding the races...
YC could be another racer, or maybe a mobster who offers to sponsor her?
