She didn't say anything more, yawning a little she snuggled back down against his neck and went back to sleep. Burrowing her nose into his neck to block out the lights.
 
Nathan laid still to let her sleep. He pulled the covers up to them so they could sleep with much more ease. He watched the clock until he dozed off again after the nurse came in and gave him another dose of medicine to numb any pains that could come back at any time.
 
Two hours later after her little nap she sat on his chest staring at his face with her large eyes. Almost willing him to wake up but made no movement to actually do so. Her nose was almost touching his but then looked up as the nurse came in again. Setting a bowl of milk down on the counter she carefully reached out, paused an then put her hand on her head.

Mewing a little she rubbed against the nurse's hand who scratched her ears and chin. "I'm really sorry." she whispered, leaning down she slid a pink identiy collar with his name on it around her neck, and locked it in place. "the others were starting to ask questions, and they were going to call the pound to have you removed."

Sonya tilted her head gently and let the woman attach the collar around her neck. Mewling a bit she leaned into the other rub and then watched her go. Her collar jingling a bit with the bell that she had attached to it as well. Turning her head she went back to staring at her master.
 
Nathan heard the bells jingle as her head moved to look at him. He slowly opened his eyes and they were unfocused. He yawned and rubbed his eyes and they slowly moved into focus so he could see. He looked down to see Sonya with a collar around her.

Nathan- Huh...? Sonya, were...were you waiting for me to awaken??
 
Nathan- You didn't have to wait for me to get up...you could've got yourself something to snack on or something...but thanks.

He picked her up and sat up and cradled her in his arms. He looked over to see a bowl of milk. He put her near it.

Nathan- Go on and drink up. You must be thirsty.
 
"The nurse brought me in some food earlier." she replied and then wiggled her hands as she was picked up. Relaxing as she was put on the table she shifted and started to drink. Dipping her tongue into the milk to scoop it up into her mouth.
 
Nathan smiled and stretched.

Nathan- Wonder how long I gotta be in here...damn cast...

He laid back down on the bed and put his hands behind his head. He noticed a TV remote and turned on the TV to some cartoon.
 
Once she was done drinking she wiggled her bum and pounced for the bed. She just made it, hanging off the edge she dug her claws into the mattress trying to scramble up.
 
"I wanna do something!: she squeaked as she was picked up, running up and down his body she jumped onto his casted leg and then ran down it, skidding to a stop at his chin and bouncing around.
 
Nathan- Jeez calm yourself. I'm sure there's something to do...hm...

He picked her up and set her on the windowsill and looked around.

Nathan- Uh...you could...hm.........Um.....hrm....Well...a hospital isn't the place to be having fun y'know. I doubt there's anything to do.
 
She nearly slipped out of his grasp, but his fingers managed to grasp her thighs. Blinking she waved her arms and touched down on the window sill turning to look at him. Her tail hanging down. "Everything all right in here?" the nurse asked coming in.
 
She smiled and picked sonya up off the window sill and held her under her arm. Her hands holding onto her belly and chest so her arms and legs hung down 'I know just what to do with you." she said smiling and left the room.
 
Nathan- o_o'...

He felt a chill go down his spine when she said that. That was usually what people say when they were thinking of something bad to do to someone.

Nathan- Dammit Sonya...be safe...
 
She mewed a little as she was carried away. It wasn't anything bad at all, the woman opened a glass door and set her on the ground and shut it behind her. There were cat posts and other such things spread around the room. A pet play ground for owners who decided to treat their pets.
