Roland sighed. Ok...he would have no help. That's fine. He walked over to the corner and began taking his shoes off. His very wet shoes. Then his socks. Then his pants, jacket, shirt, sweater..everthing but his boxers (which are green plaid btw). He then took out the boxers he had worn the day before and used them to wipe the sweat and snow off him. Andrea had her back to him but he doubted she would have enjoyed the show anyway.
Once dry he put on his pants and socks from the day before as well as the sweater from today which was not wet. He threw his coat back on and then used his boxers again to wipe up the floor from where we came in. He did this all the way back out to the fire.
Once done he went back and got his wet clothes and hung them, as well as this shoes on the clothesline behind the fire. They would dry pretty fast. He then went back in and knelt down by Andrea.
"Andrea. I'm going to carry you back in there, by the fire. OK?" Roland didn't want for an answer, he scooped her, the quilt and the sleeping bag up in his arms.
