After an entirely unplanned, unpleasant, and unfortuately unavoidable step away due to rl I'm peeking back in to see if I can get something going again...
This is bare bones because I like to brainstorm and worldbuild with my partner, so do keep that in mind! I'd like to play a dragon who lost her first bonded rider in a great war. Somehow she survived and helped to bring about victory for the *good guys* but unfortunately, since the great evil they'd been fighting had been a bonded dragon and rider pair themselves, the people turned on dragons and riders alike. They were declared outlaws and even hunted down in some parts until they were thought to be extinct. Of course, some remain but they are deep in hiding and MC is one of these.
Despite once being regarded as a dashing and daring figure in the time of the wars, MC now keeps to herself mostly. She's a tightly guarded recluse, the very figure of poise and control, often regarded as mysterious (which both draws and repels) when she does venture into town. She has a humanoid form (likely elven or some sort of tiefling) and is careful to keep anything that would mark her true form well hidden, but repressing so much of herself does come with draw backs, both to her control and her abilities. Either way, she gathers what she needs and then retreats quickly. She passes her time by scouring the world for anciet texts and information regarding the re-emergence of the great evil wanting to be prepared in case the worst happens.
This is where your chracter comes in. Who they are and what they do is entirely up to you! As long as they are a humanoid race and we can construct a believable reason for them to cross paths, I'm open to whatever you might be interested in. Regardless of the details, YC is meant/destined/fated to be MC's new rider, a fact that makes itself known from the first time they lock eyes. I see their beginnings as being reluctant and full of chaos but the fun part would be the journey and them figuring out both themselves and their bond.
In this world, the bond between dragon and rider is very much mystical and biological. There are numerous tales written about them, but few seem to know how they truly work and how to get the most out of them aside from those who experience and learn it first hand. Bonded pairs can be platonic but sexual pairings were fairly common (its not meant to be a taboo). While presumably almost anyone could learn to ride and work with a dragon, such pairs could not complete with true bonds. Once the process of bonding begins, it is very very difficult to ignore or walk away from.
So to be clear, I intend to play the dragon. She will most likely be the dominant one but I could be swayed to a different dynamic (I loooove clashing and fights for dominance). This is definitely about adventure but also very much about romance with a good mix of the spicy fun. I can do mostly vanilla or we can discuss adding other elements. I would be willing to make her futa if so desired. If this intersts you at all, please feel free to message me!

-Given its been a little bit since I've written I am looking for shorter, faster moving RPs to moderate length and posting rate. I'm not up to committing to consistent 1k+ word posts. Also, keep in mind the lengthier the post, the slower my posting speed is likely to be. I do not do 1-2 liners outside of chat based RP.
-A very patient writing partner (please don't view our RP as a strict obligation or job, Im much more chill than that)
-A slave to my muse. Finding a rhythm with a partner is key. If your posting is sporadic or you have to go quiet for long periods, that is perfectly fine, just understand that the same may occur on my end.
-Cool with ooc chatter and silliness once I get to know you (anxiety is a bitch but I do get past it)
-Will write only on the site for now.

-Characters 18-22 usually only in college settings, otherwise my characters tend to be 24+
-Any gender/sexuality, though particular ideas my be set in my head with a certain character in mind. If that is the case it will be noted.
-POCs though not for the purpose of race play
-BDSM/Kink
-Vanilla sweetness
-Romance and/or smut tends to be at least somewhat of a focus in all my stories but I also like action, adventure, fantasy, paranormal, and humor. I welcome both light and dark themes.
-Realism. I will do anime or more whimsical RPs that require some bending of the imagination. I can do anthros and interesting genitalia. However, I am rarely interested in extreme sizes and the like.
