Appearance: Hank is an average-looking guy with an athletic build and short ash-colored hair. He carries a short cudgel where he can channel energy to make it into a sword.
Background: Hank was always overlooked and did not stand out much even though he is hardworking. He is often quiet and focused and gives his 100% in everything but still constantly fails to make the teams in school and job interviews. When the gates started to open around the world, Hank did not enter any of the personal gates he saw, and when creatures came out, he joined in the defense and was told that if he could see personal gates and other visualizations, he was an "awakened". As Hank was not impressive, he was not picked to join any teams, so he entered the personal gates and dungeons where he fought goblins and other low-level monsters. Fear had overtaken him initially, but he got better and kept practicing and did find items and powers, yet still not joined any party, so he currently adventures solo and hope to join a party.

Name: Noriko Yamamoto

Appearance: Noriko has long pink hair and has always been very athletic and well built. She like wearing tight form-fitting leathers as the leathers are easy to clean and gives slight protection.
Background: Noriko is a very physical person, involved in a lot of different sports and MMA, but she was not awakened in the beginning, and as the first gates opened, he was attacked by orcs that massacred many people in the mall, and she joined the security forces to take down the raiders, and was still overpowered while the police were simply massacred. The raiders were fearsome and many simply stood in fear and were killed, but Noriko tried to fight and was simply tossed around. She was saved by an awakened who looked like an average 30 year old but his fists glowed and his attacks could badly injure the orc, and he seemed inhumanly fast and strong. Noriko suddenly realized that there were people gifted with these gifts which can make them stronger than the average person so she trained even harder and went for various weapons training before she was awakened even though she has joined the defense and risked her life entering the gates and killed many goblins and lower level monsters. When she finally got awakened, she was well prepared and took on all the tough missions to be stronger and tougher, and made up for the time gap and became powerful quickly.

Appearance: Taller than most, especially owing to her equine lower half. She's got strong muscles and a nicely curvy frame on her humanoid half, while the horse half is a light grey.
Background: Demera is from within one of the gates. Her home is a vast wilderness, with some rolling plains her clan calls home, forests, jungles, valleys and mountains. Her father, Yelgith, is the leader of the Skoans. When the gates opened and a new world was unveiled, some of the deep jungle beasts attacked Earth, but the Skoan clan, seeing that the people on the other side were woefully unprepared, helped fight against them. Since then, Yelgith has asked Demera to act as their emissary, trying to forge connections with the people on the other side of the gate. Demera was chosen as, beyond her gentle and caring nature, she is the Skoan's once-in-a-generation healer and cursebreaker. This position, as denoted by a female torso and a male lower body, provides her with some amount of healing magic. The most effective way of using it is to form tonics, poultices, and other similar remedies from her semen; or just having some directly from the source.

Appearance: A young man with short silver hair and red eyes. He has a fit frame and usually wears casual clothing.

Background: A young man born in a country side. He went to the city to study for manual labor, such as carpentry and plumbing. When the gates appeared he soon awoken and began training to fight the monsters that came through them.
