LOLOL! I was never gutsy enough to buy a magazine back in those days. But yeah... the books. hehe. I remember all too well the book 'The Joy Of Sex'. XD Funny thing was...... it was nothing like that. At least not the first several times. But I blame my partner on that one. That and my immaturity at the time. >.<

BUT........ at the turn of the century. Like in 2001 or 2002 or some such I used to buy sex books at the bookstore. Ones that showed you various positions with 'real life' models. Those came in handy too. But they made my girlfriends wince when I bought them. I had no shame. The way I saw it (and still do) if you get embarrassed or feel the need to sneak... you aren't ready. lol.

After watching so many pornos, I think I know every position there is. No need for a book. lol.

I did buy Laura Corns book "101 quickies" or something like that. A fun book.

LOLOL! Well.... what can I say... I liked looking at them in books better. XD

You know.... back in college. We had this very weird bonding moment on my floor. This one guy had a porno and we all watched it on the TV/VCR in my suite. All of us, guys and girls, piled into my suite and watched the thing from start to finish and then rewound to the parts we liked best. It was hilariously funny. And thinking back on that makes me chuckle. Oh how silly we were at 18!!!!!

Oh, I remember the first one I and my friends watched. We were in 8th grade, I think. This is batck in the mid 80's. When the guy starts to eat the girl out, we were all "Oh, that is so gross!" Not sure if we meant it or just said it for effect but, oh, how we changed!!! Can't imagine NOT eating.

LOLOL!!! Well, I thought the same thing the first time I saw/read about going down on a guy. I thought.... HELL NO! Ummm... yeah. That changed! That thought made a total 180! XD

It is funny how we change over time. Not just in sex but many aspects of life. Things I never thought I would do I now do all the time. lol.

Indeed!!! There is a ridiculous amount of truth to that statement. RIDICULOUS! Honestly, I never ever thought I'd be in the situation I am now. Never thought I wanted it. But... it turns out that I do and I couldn't be happier about that. hehe!!!

Oh, me either!! It's funny. Take music for example. I never thought I would like so many different kinds of music that I do today. I love music and am always surprised by what I like.

Heck, when I first met my wife, I never gave her a second thought until I met her again years later and was kicking myself for not seeing what I saw in her before.

Well, I learned a lot about myself after I met my husband. I learned that I'd do anything for him. And prior to him, I didn't think I'd ever do that. I gave up my career to stay home amongst other things... willingly. Because he never asked me. It just felt natural for whatever reason. And as I've gotten back into contact with some people, they are all shocked at my lifestyle! None of them would've predicted it! lolol.

This ^. I was taken completely by surprise by all the changes in me after I got married. The thought that everything I did now affected someone else's life. The protective feelings over my family. Completely changed me. It feels good to willingly give some of yourself for the larger good of the family. And my friends weren't nearly as shocked as I was over it. Guess they'd seen all along what I couldn't...

I sooo hear you there, Paradox! Getting married changed me. A lot. And in good ways. I'd do anything for my hubs. Having kids with him changed me even more. I decided to give up my career. Staying home with my kids just meant more for some reason. I know doing that isn't for everyone, but hell.... it just felt natural for me to do that. And I honestly do not regret the decision one little bit. If give the opportunity to do it all over, I'd do it the exact same way I did it. :)

But I was so school oriented (yes, I'm a total nerd) and so focused on what I wanted as my career that no one thought I'd ever give it up. I mean.... to go to engineering school and then grad school and then working for a bunch of years.... yep. No one thought I'd give that up. But...... I did. And I'm glad I did too.
