Sooooo..what is going on with the folks here? I'm bored today and no one is responding to any RP's I have going. So, what to talk about...hmmmmm.....I don't know.
 
Ah, what a great movie. I still remember going to see that with my buddy. We met a couple of girls afterward and took them to see it again. I wonder what happened to them? Another great example of where I wish I had written down names when I was younger to look them all up in FB. lol.
 
LOLOL! Indeed. That movie was just pure awesome. I didn't get to see it in the theaters though... I got to see it on a VCR rental though! Hehe!!! VCRs...... >.< Oh the freakin' nostalgia!!!!!
 
Yeah, saw it twice in the theater and then had it on VHS for a while.

I remember the awesome video tape I had of MTV videos. Back when they still showed videos. It was full of great ones from the 80's. I wish I still had that tape. I had quite a collection of old TV shows and stuff. I really wish I had those tapes now.
 
I still had four or five of my MTV tapes until a year ago. I rewatched them before throwing them out. Each one had like the same video seven or eight times because I'd forget that I'd already taped it. (How many times can you watch "The Reflex"?)
 
Holy shit! I did that too. It was quite a thing back in the day to tape record your favorite MTV videos. Ah the days when MTV actually WAS MTV. *sigh* Alas, it has gone quite down hill since then. Rather sad. But yes, I had tapes of faves. And do you remember Liquid MTV? Oh god... I used to watch Aeon Flux! And you must recall Beavis & Butthead and the ORIGINAL (before it got stupid) The Real World.
 
Eh, I think it was probably stupid then, too, we just didn't know any better... I did love the first two seasons, though...
 
I had videos like She-Bob, The Warrior, Start Me Up...all of which you can now find on You Tube.

Remember the back rooms at video stores where all the porn was? I rented one when I was 17. The ladies there joked with me about not being 18 but still let me rent it. It was awesome! lol.
 
Yeah. It probably was... though it had to have been better than how it is now. Less scripted, blah blah blah... But, I was also like 17 or 18. So, I figure I can blame my age at the time if it indeed was. The thing is, I'll never be able to prove it because I can't bring myself to re-watch any of them. And was the second season LA? I vaguely remember that location for some reason. XD

EDIT: Oh I've gone on YouTube to re-watch the vids I remember liking since my old tapes have been long gone for quite some time now. They bring back memories, they do......
 
I went thru and transfered a bunch of my old tapes on to DVD recently. I still have a few, including a whole tape of Beavis and Butt-head I need to get over.
 
Ren and Stimpy was college for me. B&B after college. Back in high school, MTV was just starting to get into shows.
 
I remember the old cable too. HBO, cinimax.....I remember, during the summer, staying up late after my job and watching the soft porn on cinimax. Always listening for the footsteps of my parents and getting ready to turn the channel. I used to hunt thru the cable guide for all the movies that had "Strong sexual content" in them. lol.

I remember staying up late to watch the anime shows they'd air on HBO at ungodly hours. lolol. Since back then it was so hard to access the stuff, I took what I could. So late night HBO it was! hehe!!!
 
During the summer I would stay up so late after the fastfood job. I remember watching some Lady Chaterley movie or something with all this skin in it. Back then, just seeing some tits for like 5 seconds was enough to start jerking off to. lol.

Boy, back in those days, it was so hard to see some tits. Now, with one click "BOOM!" there they are. Kids today have it SO easy. Oh, I did the same thing. I would go to the bookstore and read the erotica all the time. Or, I would dig out the medical dictonary we had at home and look up things. lol.
 
Yep. Exactly! And how we thought we were all sorts of slick sneaking off into the erotic sections of libraries (since bookstores were so not in vogue back then, lololol) hoping that no one meandered into that section that could 'tell' on you. XD
 
I remember taking books from the "Relationship" section over to the "Science Fiction" secton and flipping thru it. Books like "Joy of Sex" that had those drawings.

I remember being up at Perry Drug store and putting a playboy inside a teen magazine and buying that magazine. I got home and thought I had hit the motherlode...a playboy all to myself in my bedroom!
