『Kodoku no Saibou』(1×1 w/ Jikkah)

The bakotsu knickered anxiously at the sight of them, as if signalling that they needed to leave right away. Sasuke pulled the carriage door open, letting Amaya and Akihime inside first.
"I'd say you two earned some sugar cane for this." He told the two skeletal horses, who shook their heads at the prospect.

Amaya entered and sat beside Akihime, glad that their mission was successful, and grateful they didn’t have to stay to explain what had happened.
“Please, after you, Sasuke-dono.” Yukimura motioned to the open carriage door, smiling lightly.

Yukimura didn’t look bothered at all, climbing in and shutting the door behind himself, barely seated before they lurched forward in departure.

"What a day." Akihime muttered, resting her hand gently on Amaya's thigh. Sasuke tried not to notice, keeping his eyes out the window.
"It was quite the adventure." He confirmed.

Amaya’s face flushed a bit, clearing her throat and nodding in agreement, hand to her mouth. “Yes, it was rather tiresome..”
Yukimura stared at where Akihime’s hand was, ears burning hot before taking a cue from Sasuke and looking out the window. “Y-Yes..!”

Akihime stared at the two curiously, "Is something the matter?"
"No, dana, you're fine." Sasuke replied. She wasn't really buying it.
"Can I not show my shiki affection?" She questioned.
"You're fine, dana, really." Sasuke reaffirmed.

“I-I only wanted to give you a moment of privacy, I didn’t mean to offend, Akihime-sama..!” Yukimura sputtered out, cheeks flushed and clearly flustered.
Amaya placed a hand over Akihime’s rubbing her thumb over the back of her hand before slowly lacing her fingers with hers.

"I'm not doing anything inappropriate..." Akihime said, lacing her fingers with Amaya's.
Sasuke was getting a little jealous, keeping his gaze out the window.
"We're just trying to be polite.."

Yukimura nodded in agreement with Akihime, but still firmly kept his eyes fixed out the window, and his hands on his knees.
“It’s alright.. I like the privacy..” Amaya said, smiling softly.

Akihime smiled softly and kissed Amaya gently.
"You did wonderful today, Amaya." She praised softly. Sasuke's eye twitched gently, even more jealous now. But he kept it to himself.

“Thank you lady Akihime, I’m glad to be of service..” She said softly, heart fluttering and face flush at the praise.
Yukimura tapped his finger against his knee, also wishing for praise, but he was better than a dog to beg for praise

Yukimura perked up, looking a little embarrassed that Akihime had noticed, but he obeyed her regardless. Placing his hand out her her to take, he watched her curiously.

He blushed, but didn’t pull his hand away, watching her closely as she kissed each of his knuckles. “Thank you, Akihime-sama.. I’m glad that we were successful in our mission..”

Yukimura smiled happily, looking over the moon at the attention Akihime gave him, beaming at her almost like a happy dog.
Amaya shifted in her seat, letting her foot touch Sasuke’s, leaving it resting against his without a single word.

Sasuke glanced at her briefly before looking away again. Seems he was a bit bitter.
When they returned home, Akihime held Amaya gently from behind.
"Would you mind sharing a small moment of respite with me, Amaya?" She asked. Sasuke kept walking, making his way to his room.

Amaya blushed, only the two of them remaining at the carriage as Yukimura gave them their privacy.
“Of course, lady Akihime..” She placed her hands gently over Akihime’s, leaning against her affectionately.

Amaya held her hand gently in hers, walking in step with her, rather content to forget about all the rest in that moment. Arriving at her room, she opened the door for Akihime, allowing her inside first.

Amaya closed the door behind herself, moving to get them both water and something to wipe their hands and faces from battle. “Here..” She offered the cup of water, a soft smile on her face.
