ʀᴇɴᴇɢᴀᴅᴇ ᴅᴏᴡɴ (1x1 w/ Jikkah)

Megohime lay on the bed, the pain too great to move just yet, but she had little choice in the matter. Two men moved in and grabbed Megohime under her arms, hauling her to her feet and to the door. She stumbled along, every step making the pain between her legs flare, doing her best to cover herself with the dress, blood dripping down her thighs.

She struggled to catch her breath, finding the weak state her body was in disgusting. “You’re the one that opened them..” She jabbed back, hands trembling and legs too weak to get back into bed without help. Sweat dripped down her forehead, already feeling like she had run a mile from their brief exchange.

They dragged her back to her cell, where they dropped her on the mat she was provided and left her where she lay.

Mitsunari huffed as he moved to get her new gauze.
"I wouldn't have if you had just stayed in bed."

Megohime lay where she was dumped, in too much pain to want to even breathe. After a while she dared to look up, almost expecting to find that man now with her in the cell, but she was alone.

“I’m not staying here.” She said as firmly as she could, having little choice but to lay back down for now, too injured from the encounter to do anything else.

Masamune was not doing good. With Megohime missing, things around the estate were harder to keep on top of. His authority was challenged constantly, and Kojurou could only do so much.

"You are, and that's final." Mitsunari stated, "I will not have you going back to that fool of a mercenary."

She had left with no warning and hadn’t sent word to anyone since. It wasn’t like Megohime to just vanish- she wouldn’t have abandon her duty to Masamune.

Amaya said nothing more to him, glaring at the far wall so she didn’t have to look at Mitsunari any longer.

"What did I do...? Where could she have gone...?" Masamune muttered. There was a knock on his door and Kojurou came in holding a small yellow envelope.
"This came for you, boss. Feels like a disk." He said. Masamune frowned and held out his hand to take it.

He exhaled and stood.
"You'll understand one day." He said before moving to leave.

Megohime’s room had been thoroughly searched, and her clothes and gear were still there, only a pair of shoes missing. Was this cd somehow related to Megohime’s disappearance- had she sent it?

Amaya chose not to respond, eyes softening into a sad expression. She didn’t understand, sure there were some rough times in Sarutobi’s squad, but he was her captain.
