It was odd seeing Nicki speak and act seriously for once, enough that it would've been almost unsettling to anyone who's been on the receiving end of her harassment. Yet, at the same time, it was sweet, heartwarming even, hearing her nostalgically reflect on her adolescence (at the very least) spent with Max. It wasn't the time to pry further in that regard, not that Ophelia even wanted to. She was content just listening in as Nicki let it all unfold naturally. "It's a classic relationship, that's for sure." Plus the stray comment or two.
But then, as the shemale made mention of Max's girlfriend and immediately assumed it was her, Ophelia couldn't help but cough in amusement, successfully stifling it before it became a full-blown chortle, and straightened herself out just in time for Nicki to ogle her. The futa blushed, giggling softly as she brushed her hair aside in response to her flattery. "I appreciate the compliments, Nicki, really, but you've got it all wrong. I've been with Maxy countless times, sure, but I'm not the girlfriend of his he told you about. He's actually dating a friend of mine; the daughter of a friend, if we're being specific. Sweet girl, and a true futa just like me to boot."
After Nicki reacted to that correction, Ophelia moved on to the next. "As for why he's avoiding me, well... He's probably shell-shocked that I met and slept with his oh-so-mysterious roommate before he was ready to introduce..." She looked down for a moment, then glanced over. "...and that I now know his oh-so-mysterious roommate is you, Nicki." She closed her eyes, letting out a brief chuckle. "With how much of a hard time he's seen you give me, I bet he thought I'd get so mad just knowing. But with how well we've gotten on lately, that isn't really the case anymore, now is it?"
