Plot 1: It's 1942. WW2 is officially in full swing. The Allies are pushing the Germans out of Africa, while Germany begins its two-front war. An Allied pilot gets shot down while on a reconnaissance flight over Nazi-occupied France. He survives the crash, but is now stranded in enemy territory. By luck, he stumbles across member of the French Resistance.
While reluctant to shelter him at first, they allow him to reside with them, hiding him from the search parties until he heals. During this time, he takes a liking to the leader of the group that housed him - Melodie Chastain, although her feelings are hardly returned at the time. After he is capable of doing so, he joins them in striking at the Germans through guerrilla tactics.
*Melodie's name can be changed to fit whatever the player wants.
Plot 2: The Battle of the Bulge - the last, desperate bid by the Nazis to push the Allies back to the Atlantic. Bunkered in the frozen forests of Belgium, the Allied tooks take heavy casualties from German artillery and snipers, while the foul weather prevents them from getting any fresh supplies of their own. Medical supplies are in dangerously short supply, making life hell for a medic. While delivering a wounded man to Bastogne, he meets a French nurse, also trying to make due in the horrible conditions. While their first encounter is nothing more than a brief exchange of wounded and medical supplies, further visits help develop their relationship.
