When summer Vacation started, James laid in his back yard, naked and tanning. He was enjoying his first day off, wondering if Claire would come over.

Henry looked at his daughter on her first day off"What are your plans today, Claire?"
 
"I don't know. I thought I would maybe take a little walk, go see Jess for awhile. I've already cleaned out my stuff from school, so yeah. Unless you and mom had something in mind?" she asked. She did intend to do all of those things, but Claire would eventually wander off to James' house and spend some time there.
 
Henry watched her and nodded"no, we have nothing"He said and smiled"I'll see you later. Be home before 10 tonight"He said jokingly.
 
"Haha, dad," she said, heading out the door with a little purse and a thin sweater. She took a walk over to Jessica's house and told her what was going on before grabbing a bite to eat with her and heading off to go and see James again.
 
Claire let herself in, having received a key from him earlier. She locked the door behind her and set her purse down on a chair with her sweater. He didn't seem to be in his house, so she went out to the back yard, only to see him swimming. She waited until he stopped at the end of the pool. "Hi, James."
 
James heard doors shut and jumped out of the water as he saw her"Hey Claire"He said and kissed her after drying off"I missed you"He said, smiling at her.
 
"Well, you've got me for the whole summer. We've forgone our vacation this year, so I can be with you whenever you really need me to be." She smiled and kissed him again. "Is there anything I can do to make up for our missed time?"
 
James held her close and smiled"yes, we could go inside, turn the a/c on and cuddle up while we enjoy some movies"He offered
 
"Anything you want, James." She smiled and took his hand in hers, pulling him inside with her.
