Hello, how is everyone? I usually do not care about how my request thread looks. It's to my liking and everything, but it isn't like other request threads with visuals. I know that takes time, which usually I don't have. I don't have many people message me wanting to role play. I understand what I want to role-play isn't hugely popular. I just want to know what yall think about it. Should I change the title of my request thread? Any recommendations?

Hi! There is nothing wrong with your Request Thread in my general opinion, but since I'm frequently viewing Requests Threads myself, I will admit that it's a little bit like being met with a wall of text. A little bit overwhelming. A lot of the things that you say can be simplified, so people who visit your thread see what you're offering and what you seek right away, instead of having to read through two paragraphs. Most people don't bother to read and just click out if it feels like too much.

I would also try to rewrite some of the plots, so it's consistent with MC and YC or characters A and B.

I would also suggest creating a new Request Thread - you can easily just use your text from this one - so it doesn't feel so "old" (I can see it's from 2019). It also doesn't hurt with some visuals (that also makes it more appealing to the eyes and the text doesn't feel as intimidating).

If you'd like, I can put together a Request Thread for you really quick, using the information/text already in your thread? If you're not familiar with coding, you can always reach out to me and I can alter the codes to whatever you like.

I agree with a lot of what Khira said, but just to add a few things...

I think bulleted lists for an about me work a lot better than just writing everything out in one long paragraph. It helps the reader easily search for things they find extremely important. For instance, I look for reply time and RP location first, so I know that someone isn't incompatible with me in areas I don't find myself able to compromise in. Instead of your first few paragraphs before the plots, I'd do something like:

Hello! I am currently looking for female partners for any of the below plots. Here's a bit about me and what I'm looking for:

• I can consistently write about a paragraph, but I do try to match length.​
• Please check your posts for grammar errors, as I will do the same.​
• I roleplay via PM, thread, or Discord.​
• Please be able to post once per day.​

As far as plots go, I will write more than what is listed here, so feel free to suggest! I prefer playing males in their twenties or thirties and enjoy romance roleplays, like blind dates, office romances, next-door neighbors, and many more, though I will write fantasy or sci-fi with the right plot.​

It's a lot shorter, but it gets all the necessary information across without extraneous detail to sift through.

As for your plots, I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with them, but in my personal taste, they're a bit... blah. I'd try and think of fun things to add to them - maybe a character hook or a unique plot twist or an element that would differentiate them from another other than just the setting. Again, this is just personal taste, so this may just be due to us looking for different kinds of plots!

There are a few I would reword, but I see that Khira has already looked to do some stuff with your info, so I will definitely look forward to seeing what she does before I go more in-depth. (If you want me to, that is!) ​

This is just something I put together really quickly! I did have to shorten a couple of plots to make them fit the layout, but I didn't take away anything important in those plots. Like Bellini suggested, a few of them could be rewritten to make more sense and maybe sound more appealing, but that's up to you. I wouldn't mind rephrasing them for you either, but that's up to you!

Also, I just picked blue as a color, but I can easily change that if you'd like something else. The same goes for the pictures, I just tried to find square ones (even though I could have cropped any photo in photoshop), and visuals that fitted the plot or the relation somehow.

ABOUT ME

THE DREAM OF A LIFETIME
This roleplay will be about MC and YC dating. They have been friends for a long time, maybe since middle school, but MC was too afraid to admit that he had feelings for YC. But YC has secretly been crushing on MC as well. During college, MC finally builds up the courage to ask YC out, and she says yes. MC is beyond excited and takes her on the best date she's ever had. After a few dates, they will eventually become a couple, and they will both realize they were meant for each other.

THE FAITHFUL VACATION
MC goes on vacation to an island like the Caribbean or Hawaii. He is traveling with a girlfriend or a wife, but during the vacation, he meets YC. They hit it off quickly and he doesn't tell her he's in a relationship. They have sex a couple of times, but eventually, MC's vacation is over and they go their separate ways. Eventually, he breaks it off with his girlfriend/wife, and a couple of years later, he goes back to visit the same place where he met YC, hoping she'll still be there. It turns out she's still there and MC ends up marrying her after realizing she is the love of his life.

SECRETARIES DUTIES
MC is a boss and has just lost his secretary. The night before he has scheduled interviews for the position, MC and his friends go to a bar. Due to his failing relationship with his girlfriend, he's looking for potential candidates who can satisfy his needs. MC spots YC and they end up having a one-night stand. The next day YC shows up for the interviews and is shocked to see MC. Despite this, MC ends up hiring her. Eventually, MC breaks up with his current girlfriend, because he starts having feelings for YC. They start dating.

FAMILY FUN
This idea involves incest. MC and YC are siblings in their twenties. They live two separate lives. During a family vacation, their schedules don't line up with what their parents have planned, and end up arriving two days late. Because of this, they end up in the same hotel room and have to stay for a few days longer. They will get bored and start annoying each other, and eventually, YC will tease MC, which will lead to a competition on who will surrender first.

THE FAMILY DOCTOR (roles can be reversed)
This roleplay would start out with MC waking up from having surgery. The first thing MC sees is YC, their caregiver. What MC doesn't realize is that YC will be taking care of him until he has fully healed. MC's parents are rich, which is why they can afford a personal doctor at their house. They take MC back to home and YC gets her own room in the house and spends her hours taking care of MC. MC quickly forms feelings for YC because he finds her attractive, funny, and very kind, and she is only the only one around for a long time.

GYM RAT
MC is working out at the gym. One day he spots YC, a girl he finds very attractive. He realizes she needs a spotter, so naturally, he offers to spot her. After this, they start working out together. They form a friendship and start hanging out outside the gym as well. Eventually, they go on a date. We can include smutty parts from the very start, or leave it till after they've started dating.

UNDERCOVER STAR
MC catches YC in filming a video for a porn website. They could be roommates. MC could even have seen her videos on this website, but not connected the dots. MC comes home from work earlier than planned and hears YC's loud moans, and goes to check it out. He sees her masturbating in front of the camera. One scenario could be where he joins in to help her. Another scenario could be him using this information to blackmail her.

To add to this, your requirement for your partner to be a woman IRL (if I interpret the first sentence of your RT correctly) may exclude a large portion of the people who read your post; all non-women, obviously, but also female writers who aren't comfortable with such a requirement. Personally, I avoid those threads because of past bad experiences with people who had such IRL demands. I don't mean to criticise your preferences, though, so don't change it if you don't want to; just be aware that it's another factor that could affect the number of responses you receive.

Aside from that, and the fantastic feedback you already received, I'd definitely recommend a more descriptive title. I'd avoid using titles like "Siph's RP ideas" or "Unique cravings", because they don't say anything about the content of the thread, or about what you're looking for. You obviously like romance-themed stuff, so that's something you could put in your title, like Khira already did at the top of her rework. You could also feature some of your prompts, e.g. "Gym Rats, Undercover Porn Stars, and More" . . . And don't hesitate to change it around every so often to see what sticks.
