It is always a bit nerve wracking, going to a new gym, but especially so for someone like me. I mean, I’m not exactly weak, but compared to the regulars I might as well be. That, and I just moved to the city for my job… so I’m hoping to make some friends along the way.
I did find a local gym to go to, mostly based on recommendations and a few phone calls, because I’d like to get into powerlifting, but I don’t know enough to just jump right in.
I guess I’ll just have to go and see what happens.
