This is where to put all characters that will have anything to do with the city of Westbrook somewhere in the Midwest.
If at all possible, try to follow these character sheets by starting with where in town they belong.
High School
Windy MacEnroe, 16, adopted daughter of the owners of the teen hangout, a diner called The Golden Spoon where she also works part-time as a waitress. It had started as a malt shop in the 50s, but after her mom took over, and married a short order cook, it added burgers, fries, breakfasts and a variety of other popular food.
Windy is tall and lanky, and would make a decent basketball player despite her size (5-7) but she's not interested in anything except track and field, where she excels in nearly every category, however, she isn't the best. Smart and witty, she is still the target of bullies, due mostly to her intelligence and thinness, a regular beanpole.
If she's not on the field, working in the diner or at class, she can usually be found with a book under a tree, eating a packed lunch, or in the library. The only days she's in the cafeteria is Tuesdays and Fridays... Or when she forgot her lunch.
She tends to be shy at first, but once she gets to know you and become a friend to her (which is done best by respecting her boundaries), you're a friend for life, and she'll have your back.
After the meteor, her powers are superspeed (49,804 mph)
Top. Windy MacEnroe. Bottom, as Velocity
College
Ginger Aylesworth, 19, head sister of the Fratority Delta Lambda Pi at Westbrook College. She stands 5-10.
She's no-nonsense and quick tempered, but it usually takes a lot to set her off. She's also very fit, and runs an exercise/fitness class in the fratority house. Enjoys brainstorming with the smart set, and can, on occasion, give them a run for their money.
Speaking of running, you can usually find her in the early morning, out for a jog to keep herself physically fit. She can be easygoing until you cross her.
After the meteor: Her powers are, telekinesis, flight. Think Magneto, but good.
Finally found the picture for Ginger Aylesworth out of costume
Ginger as Cardio
Workplace
Detective Erin Holmes, 25, Westbrook PD. Youngest and smartest detective in the history of Westbrook, Brunette Erin is more Nancy Drew than her namesake, and is even better known on problem solving Drew style.
Although very observant, she leans more on her wits and reading of the clues than of reading people. Even before the meteor, she knew the law inside and out, but wasn't able to quote it. She can learn from her mistakes, and has never repeated one, once it's been brought to her attention.
She became the lead detective of the department just before the meteor.
After the meteor: Superintelligence, eidetic memory, ability to quote the law exactly as written-making her even more by the book than she already was.
Sapphire "Scoops" Davenport, 20, TV Reporter. 5-4
Scoops is a TV journalist with an eye on her surroundings that's unmatched among her colleagues. She also keeps digging, making her like a bulldog with a bone. She tends to ask questions that may sound a bit odd, but it's usually to trip up the haughty. Think Columbo without the bumbling and as a reporter.
Well toned and athletic, Scoops actually has just above average strength and stamina for a woman of her height and build.
Scoops didn't get any powers from the exploding meteorite, but has the wits and insight to uncover the mystery of what has happened to Westbrook since
