one of my favorite asian deserts involves Rice, Pigs Blood, and suger....it is extreamly badass.

ahhh...lol.....Sweet has never looked at me the same....lol they said they all liked it, but now they cant eat it.

Niflheim is actually a land of ice and cold generally, a land of lost souls.

would be the Norse Hell.

Ah yes...I remember doing a project on Norse Mythology when I was younger. And this is all on the World Tree, Yggdrasil? Asgard being the place of the head guy whose name begins with 'O'. And then there's Loki, the Trickster, that EVERYONE knows about even if they've never done Norse stuff. And apart from a few myths about some guys getting an arrow in his eye, and the wolf Fenrir, that's the fabulous extent of my not-so-fabulous knoweledge.
 
Fact: Hasn't slept in over 24 hours.
Fact: This isn't the longest I've gone without sleep.
FAct: The longest streak was over 36 hours straight.
 
And interesting thing about Loki.

He was the one who managed to retrieve Thor's hammer, Mjollnir.
He also acquired a great deal of the norse god's most precious items.

His daughter is Hel, who looks over the land of the dead. [which may or may not be directly related to Niflheim, depending on which legends you are reading]
When he took the form of a mare he fucked some horse and ended up preggo with Sleipnir, Odin's 8-legged steed.
He arranged for Baldr's (Odin's son) death
and he gave birth to Fenrir, the great wolf that will end up killing Odin in Ragnarok.

Loki is a shape shifter. Buuuttt.... he gets tied to a rock until Ragnarok by his son's entrails cause he killed off Baldr. Kinda lame.

Fact: It all came flooding back. Yup, I remember now.
Balder is the God of light, beauty and joy and he's the son of Odin and Frigg.

And in the beginning there were only two worlds Niflheim of ice and the fire one....Musspul? And when the hot air hit the cold air, it created the first Giant and the first cow. And when I was thinking of the dark elves, I was thinking of Svartalfheim. I remember some other shizz too.

I think I choose to do a project on this when I was younger because everyone else was doing the Egyptians. xD Silly the stuff you remember.

I always enjoyed Norse mythology.
But Egyptian mythology is definitely interesting as well... probably because there is more documentation of it.
