Did you read the book or just watch the movie?

Lol, just got done reading the book, and it took until the last few chapters to catch onto the slang. I've never seen the movie. Couldn't imagine it being as popular as it is if the slang was as difficult to follow as in the book. Most people don't have the patience.

It's slowly becoming an under ground favorite. I actually had to read the book for school, loved it.

It's a great book. Doesn't seem like something supported in school though lol

It was on our list of books to create a presentation over. My parents were all, "WHAT>?!" But I was a senior at the time.

It's really phenomenal in my opinion. I'd like to see the movie now, just to compare. Apparently the director really emphasizes the rape and filming scenes and stuff, to make them seem so dramatic, but the author makes the crime scenes almost nonchalant and trivial to the story. It's really awesome how he wrote it.
