*Tackles* And a Popsicle? hehe

Actually vegetarians wouldn't really require any special form of ice cream. It's vegans that can't eat dairy.

I like Rocky road and the mallows aren't vegetarian.

Mallows? As in marshmallows? They're made of sugar. Which is extracted from a plant. What's not vegetarian about that?

Fact: I don't think she wants my popsicle..maybe I'll take it elsewhere..

@Lyra: Well some vegans I know don't eat processed foods..marshmallows definitely fall under that category

There is also often gelatin in marshmallows, I do believe, which can be from animals... So that wouldn't be vegetarian.

Exactly

*Grabs Anansi's Popsicle*

So I guess you would have to do some investigating on whether or not your brand of Rocky Road used marshmallows that had animal gelatin in it.

I thought they were just spun sugar though.

You know you were just agreeing with me right, Anansi?

I have nothing against you, I just like arguing with you on occasion m'dear.

*Is pulled by his popsicle* Oh nooooo

But you weren't actually arguing with me. You were reiterating my point, but you stated it as an argument.

Its like if I said, "the sky is blue" and you said, "no, the sky is a shade of blue."

Time to be a font of knowledge again:

From Wikipedia:
Gelatin (from French gélatine) is a translucent, colorless, brittle, nearly tasteless solid substance, derived from the collagen inside animals' skin and mostly bones.

The common mixture of gelatin is 27% bones, 28% bovine hides, 44% pig skin, and 1% "other". Basically it's the leftovers of the meat and leather industries. Fish by-products have also been considered for future gelatin produces, thus bypassing a lot of the religious issues with the current components.

For more details, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelatin

I was merely backing you up, my dear, for those who cared for more details.

Plus knowing that it was made from certain animals could help those who are religious but were otherwise unaware of this, and said religions forbid eating those animals. ^^
