Their seemed to be something about this guard, that was showing some sort of a dislike of what was going on, possibly even jealousy. That obviously meant the two of them were not together, but they sure seemed rather close. Still Seth made no comments about that and at least just acted like himself not really caring what this man in front of him thought. He had never truly trusted the guards and so even if the princess trusted this one,.. he felt uneasy about him. "Don't worry about the lover thing to much, I already know nothing can happen anyhow .. it just gives her a good cover to use while out her.. that and well, she was the one who first came up with the idea.." he knew not that she also wished such a thing could actually possibly happen but he was not even a noble, and so it would be foolish to think that someone of royalty.. well just being classified as a friend, felt like more then he deserved as a simple peasant.

Seth was unsure as to what to say or do as he felt Crystal leaning against him, yet as he thought he just lightly slid his arm around her holding her gently. He watches as Kerr leaves a sigh of relief escaping him. "For some reason.. I am not sure why but I just don't trust Kerr..sorry it's just how i think about most guards.. they always seem a little corrupt." his arm slid from around her and back to his side "You should probably go back to the castle Aurora, after all you need to repair.. i will show up later, or I might not.. after all If i feel to out of place, their is not much point going.." It was obvious something was playing on his mind as he spoke, maybe that he even wished that something could occur between them but knew it would not.

"Well maybe because he doesn't trust you." It was easy to tell that her knight didn't trust the farmer. After all he had no reason to. They didn't know each other that well. Then again she didn't know Seth that well but she still trusted him. When he moved his arm from around her she pouted a bit, not quite happy with what he had done. She folded her arms over her chest, listening to his words. He was right. She should have gone back now but he didn't seem as...well, he just didn't seem himself all of a sudden. The air around him had changed it seemed. "You're probably right but..." she moved to stand in front of him, her hands behind her back. "You have to come to my party. I don't want you to worry about what you are or who you are. I just want you to live in the moment to have a good time. Besides," reaching up she kissed the boys lips softly. It wasn't just a peck, but she actually kissed him. "You have to return that to me. If you don't I'll be very upset."

Turning around on her heel the girl ran out of the changing stalls yelling a quick goodbye before head back in the direction that the guards had went. She wasn't sure if it was because she knew she was about to be in trouble that her heart was beating so fast or because she just had given away her first kiss. Probably a little of both. Catching up with the other guards she turned herself in, allowing them to take her back to the castle. As expected she was scolded by her mother and father but ultimately they were happy to have her back. "The party starts in a little over an hour. Come now we must get ready!" Aurora sighed as she mother took her by the hands and walked out of the ball room and upstairs into her bed room. Oh this would be a long night.

The party had started at seven o clock on the dot. Guest arriving at the door with friendly smiles and gifts. Some were friends, others family, and then there were those who Aurora just wanted to kick out the door as soon as they walked in. But no, instead she was still getting prepared as the party began. Her hair was fixed and her dress was on but she was still a little nervous. Would Seth show up like she wanted him to or would he leave her here alone? Hopefully it was the first one. Letting out a sigh she glanced at herself in the mirror. If nothing else she certainly looked like a princess. A tiara of stemless red roses and diamonds had been placed in her hair. Instead of being straight like it was a little while it was now curled into three large princess curls down her back. Her little sun dress had been replaced with a white ball gown that touched the floor. Strapless it was meant to show off her shoulders and the pretty little rose necklace her father had gotten her as a gift. It was a little poofy from the hip down yes, and her hips were covered in roses like a belt almost but that aside it was fine. Pretty, heavy, and something she wouldn't want to wear ever again unless she had to.

"Are you ready Aurora?" "Almost mom.." Slipping on her white and gold half mask the girl stepped out of her room and took her mothers hand. Taking a deep breath she began her way down the grand stair well, the music stopped as they did so, with the exception of the harp. there was nothing but utter silence as they made their way down, one of the knights announcing them. " May I present to you Princess Aurora and Queen Karin." With those words spoken a round of applause went about as the two were seated on their thrones. She would have to wait a few minutes before dancing but that was probably a good thing. From here she could see all the dancers and the people entering. 'Please be here Seth.'

Seth looked at Aurora as she now stood in front of him a slightly confused look on his face as to why she had moved in such a fashion. He listened to her words feeling as if she was almost ordering him to actually go, but also asking as a friend.. but what came next he was neither prepared for or expecting. He went silent just looking at her as she finished what else she had to say before leaving the changing stalls in the opposite direction. Once she had left what she had said echoed through his mind, and he lightly placed his finger against his lip almost in disbelief that Crystal had actually done such a thing, to a simple folk like him. He was stunned to say the least, as again the words echoed through his head and his mind replayed the short brief kiss. The last statement was what had the most impact on him though She wants me to return such a thing... Who am I to be allowed such a thing though, I am a farmer.. not a noble.. not royalty... but a farmer, But you know you would not mind doing such a thing.. I guess.. but still...

Slowly he walked out of the change rooms in his rather noble looking clothes, he had to admit he could barely even recognize himself, and the shopkeeper grabbed him before he left speaking a few choice words. I heard something about masks earlier.. Take your pick of one.. free of charge.. after all, you can't go to that place without looking how your lover wanted you to.." Seth's cheeks flushed brightly, they had mentioned something about all of that earlier and it seemed this person in particular had heard most of what had been said. He quickly regained himself looking over the selection briefly before choosing a mask that was a gray/silver in design, it looked rather reasonable and once the choice was made it was given to him before Seth was allowed to walk away putting the mask within an inner pocket within the coat he had chosen previous. He knew if he did go to the party compared to some of the people their he would look plain, but.. at least he would look noble.

He thought about it for a while pulling out what she had given him, that would allow him entrance to this event his blue noble eyes gazing at it before he put it away again. His mind just continued to think about it as he just sat down in a nice relaxing place and thought. He could not help but then think back to first meeting Aurora,.. the whole fountain incident,.. and then the kiss. It was something that just kept popping up a blush showing each time it did. Finally he decided he would go, noticing a few people had started to head towards the castle. It had taken quite a while to come to a complete decision but now he was sure it was a good idea. No one would believe him if he ever told them, but he felt like he should be their, she was his friend.. and in public his lover.. and well, he wished that it was both .. in and out of public. His walk was only slow as he approached the castle, sometimes he had dreamed of entering, and yet here he was. The guard put up his arm across to the side stopping Seth before looking at him, before anything was said though the guard saw what granted Seth's entry. "Hmm the princess's own personal invitation.. you must be a special person,.. please enter.. she is probably expecting you." Seth slightly bowed before then entering.

Slowly his eyes now searched the room upon entering. It seemed he had just entered as the announcement was being made his blue gaze settling on the princess who sat on her throne.. and he could not help but just look at her, she almost looked like a different person but it was definently Aurora. Briefly he then remembered about the masks sliding his hand into his coat and pulling it out placing it over his eyes, it seemed pretty firm as he found himself a place to sit down still looking at the princess from the corner of his eye. I wonder.. if she has noticed I am here, Or have i wasted my time coming..
