A small smile played its way across her lips as she listened to his words, happy that she had gotten a name out of him, something she wasn't really expecting quite yet. It had taken her years to get her guards names. One day they finally got tired of her asking though and just told her. A little sad but she had gotten what she had wanted in the end. " Well, it's very nice to meet you Seth." she gave him something of a small curtsy, something she was use to doing after introducing herself and having the person she was talking to introduce themselves, before standing up straight again. She watched as the ball was kicked once again, though this time she caught it, causing the kicker to be out before tossing it to another one of the children.

Crystal rocked back and forth lightly on her heels as she thought about something. As much as she wanted to play the game here with these children she also wanted to look around town a bit. Even though she had lived in this town her entire life, or at least in the castle right above it, she had never really had a chance to explore it. The most she ever did was walk through it for royal events and what not. She wanted a chance to see what it was really like, what the people were really like, and how they lived. It was still early so not like she didn't have enough time to do such a thing. But she wanted someone to come with her so she wouldn't get lost or end up somewhere she wasn't suppose to be, something she had a knack for. She had taken a trip to another kingdom once and had wondered off from the group, ending up in a pleasure cove. Did she do anything or having anything done to her? No, she was far to young, only eight or so. But she was scarred for life due to the things she saw and the way people grabbed her.

" There has to be someone I can ask...." but everyone else seemed so busy. But that was her mothers fault actually. Because today was her birthday and all the queen made the kingdom celebrate. Probably because Crystal was the only child of hers to live so the queen wanted to celebrate every single year in a big way, which always meant a three day festival. Until then though she just wanted to explore, but then it hit her. Seth. She could ask him and hope he said yes. Making sure the other children were to busy with the game she made her way over to the boy, talking quickly yet well enough to be heard. " I have a question for you. Well actually its more like a favor so you don't have to say yes though I'd love it if you did, and would be happy to pay you for your services. How ever much you ask for actually! Anyway, I was wondering if you would be able to show me around the town. I've lived here for so long but I've never had a chance to actually come out into down and look around, and now that I've es-, well, I'm away from watchful eyes I finally get that chance. So would you please do me that favor? You don't have to but I would appreciate it if you did."

Seth did not feel bad stating his name to this stranger, well not exactly a stranger and she was rather nice so a soft smile crossed his face upon her speaking to him. Since Crystal was being polite he gave a slow bow. He went to say something about the ball that was flying at her now but she seemed to catch it with ease making that person out of the game just for now the ball being thrown back the rules of this game seemed easy which meant Seth would be able to play easily, something that he knew anyhow. Hopefully the pair of them would not play long though as he would prefer to walk around the town a little like he normally would. His life was far from interesting, something that if she asked about he would probably try to change the topic.

After all who wanted to hear about the life of a farmer, a peasant..a simple villager, that most of the time was stuck working instead of doing anything although he did take breaks and wander around the town as much as possible. Some areas people would have a go at him saying he was not welcome but Seth did not let that bother him much after all if he cleaned up his appearance his looks and his wavy brown hair that just hid his deep blue eyes would make him almost look noble, the clothes would be the main thing he would need to acquire. The game seemed to continue and Seth joined in for a little bit but then stopped and just watched before seeing Crystal begin to approach him. Instantly his mind began to wonder what she wanted and was ready to listen to her words as Seth noticed her lips begin to move.

"So you have never really seen this town and you say you have lived here for a while.. Well I am sure that we can go have a good look around, I can show you the places I know and we can get a little lost in this town together and discover more of it, as for payment your company should be enough as not everything has to be bought Crystal." Slowly he paused taking a breath his mind briefly actually thinking of a way she could pay him that was better then money but he did not utter a sound until he got rid of those thoughts. "I would be honored to do such a favor for such a fine lady, I am ready to leave when you are.. I am sure they won't mind us leaving now that they have enough money to go and buy some things"

" Really, you would?! You mean it?!" It would take someone in her situation to truly understand why she was so happy about something as simple as walking around the town. Because she had been constantly watched for seventeen years of her life and had no normal friends she was glad to be walking around with him. Not a noble, a knight, a castle guard, a king, or another prince. No, he was a normal boy and she loved that so much more then he could possibly imagine. He wasn't going to be as stiff as a stick and not loosen up and have fun, he was going to be himself and she loved the thought of it. A person who could actually be himself around her, something she had yet to experience. Then again he didn't know who she was exactly ad if she told that might change things.

" You really have no clue how happy I am right now. I finally get to go around the city without some kind of guard following me around!" she actually squealed, something she didn't do often, jumping up an down happily. In the process her hood seemed to fall, to her shoulders, her pretty brown face in plain view. She noticed this immediately, pulling it up before saying something to get away for a moment. " I'm going to go tell them we are no longer playing..." With that she quickly made her way to the oldest child once more, telling them they were going to drop out of the game for a little while. Handing him a bag full of silver coins she made her way back to Seth, her hood on a little tighter this time.

" Um...I paid them already and they said we can go. We can just go..." With that she took a hold of his hand, walking into the busy city streets once more. She was very excited about all of this. That or she was trying to rush so he wouldn't say anything about seeing her face, if he had been paying that much attention in the first place. If he had then she might have been in trouble. That last thing she wanted was for someone to recognize her and take her back to the castle. That would be terrible, not to mention her mother would have a field day yelling at her, chewing her head off actually.

It was sorta a surprise to Seth that she seemed to excited and happy about just a walk around the town. He honestly thought it as just being polite to escort her around since she had asked but really the town was nothing special.. to him anyhow as all his life he had lived and grown up in it. If he had actually known who Crystal was he probably would have changed his attitude a lot more.. yet since he just thought of her as someone who was trapped in her house a lot, well the least he could do was to show her the town that she lived in. Slowly his hand slid through his hair as he thought about what he could show her, the city did have some really nice things in it and well it was probably best to show her the best of the city and point out other things along the way, Hearing her speak a small smile was evident across his face, she really was bursting with happiness which made him smile as his eyes watched her jump up and down before his deep blue eyes gazed at her face as it came into view. Such beauty and yet she quickly seemed to hide her face again as he looked at her still and sighed.

Hearing Crystals soft voice again his smile returned as he went to say something but just nodded at her watching as she walked over towards the older child that seemed to be organizing the game and the rules before his mind went back to thinking again. She was so beautiful... If I had realized I would have been more polite.. but since she seems fine with me being myself.. should I stay like that,.. she looked so noble unlike me.. I will do what I promised her at least, and see how things go from their.. Hearing her footsteps heading back towards him his thoughts were broken as he looked up at her again before hearing her voice and with that felt her hand take hold of his. Seeing as she began to walk he followed quickly, he was going to make a remark about her beauty but that could wait since she seemed to excited about what was going on.

Slowly he began to point out things before slowing down there pace lightly pulling her back a little as Seth began to point out things to her. They continued to walk some more before finally coming to a stop at the towns large garden that was one of the only things that was considered separate to the castle "Want to have a quick look in here? It really is stunning.. I hear the people in the castle are jealous of the land here.. yet the owners here.. well they are the largest income earners in this town.. They own there whole land.. and also help out people with accomplishing dreams and lending them money.. they really are nice people.. maybe we might get to see them if you want.." Little did he know if they did that the people might actually recognize Crystal this she already probably knew.

She understood that she was going a bit to fast when he had to pull her back. Ok, maybe she was a little to excited. But she wasn't sure how to contain herself which was a little funny. Being a princess all you worked on for the first couple years of life was composure. Then again that was only in certain environments because there was a time and place for everything. At balls, conferences, parties, and many other events she had to act like the perfect stone princess. She could smile but she couldn't act wild and happy like the rest of the children. Even when it was her own party she wasn't allowed to act like a happy little girl. So when ever she was away from her parents and something made her happy she took it a little bit over bored...Just a little though. Sometimes...

Seeing the garden made her smile. It was so beautiful. As much as she would have loved to go inside though she knew she couldn't, the people who owned the place might just recognize her and that wouldn't be a good thing at all. The thing was though, she loved flowers, she loved gardens or anything else to do with nature. And not just because she at flowers, though no one knew that but her mom and some of the maids. Being around plant and animal life just made her feel so calm and at home for some reason. That fact that she had been found in a garden by her mother could have had something to do with it, or it could have been the fact that what ever she was, because human certainly wasn't it, had a natural connection to nature. But still, for now even though she wanted to go inside and take a look around she couldn't. She didn't want to risk being told on. So she lied.

" Everything is so beautiful...But I'm afraid I can't. You see I'm allergic to flowers. Last thing I want is to pass out or something..." She sighed, rubbing behind her neck a little, something she often did when she told a tall tale. Not like she couldn't lie though. If she didn't then well...she didn't want to know what would happen. She was enjoying her time outside of the castle and didn't want it to end anytime soon. She had until sunset, that's when she was suppose to start getting ready for the parade anyway, and then she had to go inside. Until then she wouldn't even look at the castle gates, more like prison gates though. So cold and unforgiving...Maybe if by the end of the day she felt comfortable enough to tell him who she was they could come back, but right now it just wasn't an option.

Just from the look that shone from her eyes as she looked at the garden well what they could see from the outside, she thought that it was beautiful and she seemed to look around for quite a little while, Something inside of Seth told him that they would not be entering it though and so was already preparing in advance to such a thing. It was a shame as he really had wanted to show her everything in their as the insides of it were actually more stunning then any of the visuals around the town.. in fact most people classified it as one of the only worth while things to go see if you got a chance. Still something also inside him told him that maybe some other time him and Crystal would see this place together, it might not be this time but still that made Seth smile at least.. well keep his smile as he now heard her voice bringing the half expected news the reason behind it made him now sigh the smile slightly lost but visible.

So much for that idea then.. here I was hoping that maybe sometime us two could see this and she is allergic to flowers.. I wonder why she rubbed the back of her neck like that..I really wanted to show her these famous grounds.. Oh well I guess somethings are not meant to happen at all.. and that I must accept this fact. Slowly he began to speak oblivious to the lie that had been spoken. "That really is a shame.. but lets continue on then.. There are other things to see around here as well.." Slowly his arm slid around hers as he then started to walk slowly pulling her along since she seemed to be caught in thought for a moment there as was he.. as they now started to head of again and surprisingly.. she seemed to instead of rushing ahead.. maintained arm contact.. the two arms laced together as he escorted her in a more polite manner starting to name of areas again as he started to lead them towards the towns fountain, now that was a sight to see.. and since no flowers were nearby.. at least it meant the two of them would be able to get up close to it and all of that.

As they finally made it he slowed down and turned to face Crystal before looking at her his eyes gazing for a moment before he realized that he had began to stare at her with a gaze that was showing a hint of what could happen between them "Crystal.. you say that you have not really seen this town.. but why are your parents so strict on you.. I mean it must be nice for them to at least care for you, unlike mine really.. they pretend that they do.. but really deep down I am nothing but free labor to them.." Slowly he sighed as he seated himself sliding his arm away from hers as his blue eyes gazed into the fountain as he turned to her seeing that she had not said anything. Seth then lightly smiled at her speaking once again since she had not spoken "You don't have to answer anything from me.. after all I am just escorting you around.. This is one of the other places in this town that is beautiful.. just like you.." The last bit has slipped out of his tongue before he had actually realized what was being said a blush emerging as he looked away to now hide that.

Oh she hated the fact that she had to lie! She could tell that he wanted to go inside and yet she prevented him from doing so. This really, really sucked. Now she would feel guilty the entire afternoon about not going inside with him and instead lying about it. 'Well this is just wonderful...But I'll guess I'll be honest the rest of the night if he asks me something. That should make me feel better...right?' She sure hoped so anyway. When he spoke about moving on she didn't even hear him. Actually she was still caught up in her own thoughts. So when he laced arms with her and started walking she jumped a little, bring brought back into the real world, before walking along side in at a slowly and steady pace, or just enough to keep up actually. She would contain herself for a few more minutes and not run in front of him or drag him along. After all, she had no idea where they were going anyway. But once they got there a smile had managed to play its way across her lips and her eyes seemed to light up for a brief moment, " Wow...its beautiful.."

Even though she said she would be honest upon hearing his question and his story she actually froze for a moment. She just had to say that she would be honest didn't she? " Well...I..." she had began to speak but then clamped her mouth shut, watching as he moved away from her. What was she going to say? What could she possibly say? She didn't want to lie but she didn't want to tell him the truth either, both could end up having bad results. It wasn't good to base a new friendship off of lies. That was the quickest way to ruin a friendship, she had seen it may time before with some of the other nobles and their children. At the same time telling him the truth could be bad to. He might start treating her differently, being nicer when he didn't have to, possibly ignoring her, maybe he'd use this to blackmail her. There were just to many possibilities and she didn't want to take a chance and yet...She couldn't see how she could keep lying to him like this.

Hearing him speak she could feel her cheeks become a little hot. Why did he have to be so sweet? " But I want to answer you its just...I'm not entirely sure how.." She made her way over to him, taking his hands and leading him over to the fountain, taking a seat on the edge. " Listen to me and listen to me very carefully. I'm about to tell you something ok? After I do don't treat me any differently, don't tell anyone, and please, I'm begging you don't take me back, please..." she let out a deep sigh, looking around to make sure no one else was aundoing the small bows she had tied on her cloak to keep it up. Letting the black thing fall her figure was revealed. Her tiny chocolate figure clothed in a small white sun dress that came a few inches past her hips, white hair let down around her shoulder instead of in its normal pony tail. " My parents are strict on me because I am Princess Aurora Astrid Alteil, thought everyone calls me Crystal for some reason, first daughter of Queen Lily and King Asteros. They keep me locked up because they are afraid of losing me. After my mother lost her first few children she and my father became very over protective of me, they don't want to lose me to I guess...But like I said, please don't tell anyone!"

(sorry shortening time to 2 paragraphs its getting to hard to maintain a strong 3 here)

The question he had asked seemed to bring a hesitance over her now, it seemed something was holding her back from answering .. something that was obviously important to Crystal and yet obviously something was to be said as she had something to tell Seth. His eyes gazed at the fountain upon waiting patiently for her response since only little bits of this and that were all that seemed to leave her mouth obviously what ever was holding her back was big and would mean change if told.. but how big a change could it truly make.. this confused him a little as he started to wonder what it was she really was meaning to say. The blush on his face coming to an end now after his comment had been made, a common thing of his was to slip things right of the tongue... as in he meant to say them but was actually planning on maybe not saying such a thing so soon yet either way now it really did not matter as it had been said and she had seen heard it and seen the blush.. and now was answering the question he had left for her as her voice broke the silence his eyes going from the depths of the fountain to looking directly into hers. The pair of them now sitting down near the fountain together as Crystal was obviously going to tell him the truth of everything that she had been hiding as he had felt ever since she hid up her face the way she did previous.. something was being hidden.

His eyes looked at her deeply upon seeing her reveal her face this time allowing him a better look and she looked very familiar. "I don't think no matter what you say, things will not change between us that I can try to promise". yet he could not realize were he had actually seen her before. she was a very high noble at least.. or something more and a soft gasp escaped him upon her even starting to tell him although he listened closely still curious to actually hear more, after all it was not everyday he got to meet and show the town to such a person. He waited until the princess was done speaking before speaking slowly, "Wow.. a little more then expected but I promise you that no one will be told.. the main reason is I have heard about how your parents are with you Aurora.. the way they are so strict and don't allow you any freedom it must be nice to finally be outside the castle seeing the area around and I am glad that I get to be the escort for you at least.." Seth would probably still refer to her as Crystal the main reason was to not get people knowing who she truly was as that name seemed to only ring a familiar bell but the name Aurora would easily give away her position and she would be back within castle walls to quickly "Well, Shall we move on from this fountain.. and look around a little.. that is about all I know of this village although the rest we can discover together Crystal.."

[ Just type how ever much you are comfortable with. Don't worry about anything else ]

She braced herself for impact after hearing his gasp. Would he reject her? Shun her? Make her go back to the castle? Turn her into the nearest guard? She really was preparing herself for the worst possible scenario. So imagine her surprise when she heard his words. There was an undoubtable gleam of happiness in her eyes as she looked at him, standing up quickly. Never in her life had she met a person who said they wouldn't tell on her. Her so called "friends", more like stuck up girls who her father loved to have over, always told on her in a heart beat for something she was planning to do. And yet here was a boy who she had met only a short while ago, saying that he wouldn't turn her in. It meant a lot to her, almost more then he could possibly understand. " You mean it?! Really!? Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" She more or less tackled and hugged the boy all at the same time, causing them both to fall over into the water. She laughed, making her way off of him to sit up beside him, her white dress now clinging tightly onto every curve she had, locks of hair doing the same.

She let out a sigh, leaning back against her hands and licking her lips. " I'm sorry, really I am..." she closed her eyes, letting herself fall back into the water. " For acting so childish I mean. A girl my age should know how to keep her emotions under control at all times but I do that every day. So I guess..because I'm out like this I'm a lot more wild then usual. Unless I'm just being myself, I'm not really sure what thats like actually." She really wasn't sure what it was like to be herself. She knew what it was like to be mommy and daddys perfect little girl but she wasn't sure what it meant to be Aurora, which was more then a little sad...Sitting up she made her way out of the water, ringing herself off before offering him a hand to get out. " But if you still want to I'd be more then happy to walk around with you. But I think it would be better if I bought you a change of clothes first. What do you think?"

Seth although had never felt or experienced even anything close to royalty, could have guessed what initially she thought was going to happen. But the thing was he was not like most of the villagers or even the nobles as such. He was an individual of which was a rare occurrence of personality between only a small number of people the rest just conforming to what ever the city or highest powers of the land classed them as. In Aurora's eyes he could see the happiness his words had caused before completely not expecting what was to come, the words of her soft voice were partially expected but as he felt himself falling with her against him, well nothing could have made him expect that in any moment she would tackle him into the water all because of something simple he had said of which he was planning to stick by. He could not deny her some freedom that she deserved as a person, not as royalty. A title should have never had meant that one could not leave the castle or meet people that could be interesting and fun if they were a kind hearted and calm in his methods of treating things, that was Seth pretty much summed up. He did not do much but he was kind and caring when it is appropriate and serious when its required otherwise he treats life just as a bit of fun not to be wasted.

At first nothing left his mouth as the cold liquid fell down upon him as he fell back into it, he heard her laughing and then could not help laugh himself. He did not respond to her first comment since there was no reason to say sorry. After all clothes would dry and he had noticed that he could see her curves a little better now that her white dress was wet. "You should just do what you think is right, and most of all try to have fun and loosen up, I think all royalty of your age should do such a thing so you can then discover who you are as a person instead of just a title Aurora" He took her hand, her skin soft to his touch as he pulled himself up out of the water before smiling at her "I think that is a good idea, I have been meaning to buy some new clothes after all, and if it gets me more time to walk around with you.. well then lets go buy those clothes." And with that Seth smiled at her his hand was still in hers waiting for her to either let go or to pull away, if she did not then he would just rest it inside its grasp so that his could grasp hers gently.

The girl was more then glad that he hadn't yelled at her or scolded her for getting him met, but instead laughed along side her. " I think...I think I'll try that from now on. Being myself, might be kinda nice..." she smiled as she let go of his hand briefly, ringing out her dress and hair so she wouldn't be dripping wet and put her cloak back on again. Even if he knew who she was she didn't want everyone else to know. That was a no no. Tying the hood on securely she slipped it over her head before taking a hold of his hand again. " Now lets go get the clothes. Hopefully the vendors aren't to busy.." with that she began walking down the path, following the round of all the rustle and bustle of the town. On the inside one part of her felt that this could have really been a bad idea. Having him show her around, telling him her identity, and then going along with him afterwords still. For all she knew he could kidnap her later on or worse, after all, she had never met Seth before this so wasn't sure if she could even trust him or not. But then there was that side of her that felt like she could trust him with anything and everything. She hadn't felt that way for anybody....ever. It was actually kind nice.

" Do you mind telling me what life is like down here? Or at least for you? I'm curious." Even though it was rather foolish for royalty to think such a thing Crystal actually wondered what it was like to live as a lower ranked citizen. Not low like a duke or a priest, but low like a farmer, a merchant, or a black smith. What it was like to go day to day doing what they do, working like they do. Yes she was the princess but she did nothing but sit around and look pretty all day, something she wasn't so fond of. The other thing she wasn't fond of was looking for a husband. About three weeks ago her parents had started bringing in eligible men for her to marry seeing how she was of legal age to take the throne. Ever other day she had to meet ten men her mother, father, advisers, and others had picked out for her and get to know them. So far it had only been annoying and a waste of her time. She wanted to marry because she loved someone and they loved her back, not for any other reason! But her parents wouldn't hear of such talk. They simply called her dreams foolish, telling her that in time she would see the importance of an arranged marriage and probably fall in love with her husband. Considering the fact that her mom ditched the guy she was suppose to marry on her wedding day and crashed her fathers wedding only a few hours she couldn't really believe them. They followed their hearts, why couldn't she do the same?

" That looks pretty cute.." without thinking, again, the girl dragged Seth over to one of the vendors once they had entered the town. Immediately spotting a pale yellow dress she wanted she didn't think twice about anything else. " Do you see anything you want?"

Seth's smile never left his face yet, as their hands parted and then he watched as she started to at least get some of the water out of her dress. Instantly he realized why she had put the hood back on, after all she had taken a large jump into telling him that she was the princess. Aurora.. she was not foolish that was certain, the reason why she was covered up again was so that someone not like him, would cause her to go back to the castle prematurely. Slowly he nodded hearing it was now time to go pick out something new. "At this time of day we should be alright.. Never have I really been able to go to one, but I do noticed when they are busy.." His smile was softer now, his hand glad to be inside hers again, Their was some sort of trust between them that even he.. had not felt before. It was nice though and that was what counted. His blue eyes looked over at the princess hearing her speak before a reply started "I would love to.. Crystal" He had almsot called her Aurora but since they were starting to get back into more public locations it was better if he stuck by her name that she seemed comfortable to tell him before telling him her identity. Slowly he took a breath, it was rather new to him being asked such a thing. Especially by royalty, after all they had easier lifes with less worries and so generally they would not ask about the life of a lower member of society. Part of him was just hoping she would not find it boring, as to him it was.. the same old thing each day, to repetative yet different in its own way.. just he never really noticed.

"well.. it definently is busy, to actually survive one must have a trade that will produce enough money to live.. So it definently is a poor life, but their is a lot of freedom down here. Which is why I can walk around with you like I am now, and their is no consqeunce.... I wake up each day, seeing the sun rise.. and then I tend to the produce that keeps me and my family stable. We rely on the food we grow just as much as the people that buy it.." He looked away slightly ashamed of what he was saying, "sorry I know you asked.. but if it is boring you I will stop." That was all that was said for now, he would only start up again if Aurora asked him to. Seth would have continued as it definently started to get more interesting from their but really.. He did not want to bore her and then make her walk away as most royalty would since they did not really actually care about how the low mans life went, how anyone lower then them had to live. It was a struggle of which they could relate to and so most of the time ignored it and although he had a feeling that she as the princess seemed to be more curious.. part of him also did not want to feel the shame of his life when having to tell it to her, since it was nothing compared to royalty or even a noble. Hearing her voice break his thoughts he looked over to what she talking about the soft smile crossing his face again. He moved rather quickly as he felt her pulling him before he started to look around a little himself. "It all looks to much for me.. So I am uncertain what to choose to Crystal.." Once he said that the merchant seemed to try and push him away from the area "If your not going to buy something farmer.. then get out of here.. This place is for people who can afford to buy clothes..." The merchant then had noticed Aurora yet of course did not know it was her, "what about you girl... you look like you could buy something, That dress would look great on you.. although can you tell your friend to get to get lost out of my store please.."

It was as he spoke that she listened, taking in everything he said. While he might have been bored with his current lifestyle she was fascinated by it. The thought of actually having to work, to have some kind of freedom, the thought of being some real use to her parents other then some kind of figure head. If anything Crystal hated quite a few things about palace life The first one was the lessons, most of which she was sure she wouldn't need. She was awoken at unreasonable times in the morning just to learn how to properly set a knife and a fork. Seriously, when would she ever need to know that and who would notice if she did it the wrong way? The second was that she couldn't do anything inside or outside of the castle. She wanted to help her parents out some times but she couldn't. It had clearly been stated that her job was to sit and look pretty, that was it. When she wasn't doing that or taking lessons of some sort she couldn't even go outside of the castle and play around without her guards. It was a little hard to make friends when you had two or three highly intimidating men over you, watching everything you did. And last but not least was the entire marriage thing. Today she turned 18 and in four weeks she would be married off to some man that she didn't even know or love. Of course she would have a chance to meet the possible suitor, but so far all of them had failed to impress her in any way, shape, or form. The men were greedy and cold hearted, they cared for her parents money, not her. Why marry someone like that?

" No, don't stop. I want to hear more." She looked up at him with a small pout, really wanting him to continue. " Trust me when I say I'm a lot more into this then you think I am." She began to rock back and forth on her feet a bit as she looked around at the other dresses, listening to his words and chuckling a bit. He was the one showing her around and doing her a favor, buying his clothes was the least she could do in return for the kind deed. She opened her mouth to say something but was cut of by the merchant, and was less then pleased by what he said. Really, did he have to be so rude about it? " What about me? Well lets see, if you can't be kind to my lover," quick thinking didn't really give her time to say anything else, " what makes you think that I want anything from you? I'd rather buy what I need from some where else." With that she stuck her tongue out at the man, making sure she was still holding onto Seth's hand before walking away from the merchants table and back into the street, her eyes scanning around now for other places. " Don't worry about buying your clothes. You're showing me around so getting you something is the least I can do."

Men of the kingdom, of royalty and almost in general were selfish... but their were always exceptions and usually they had unexpected roles or places in societies. The more nobles kept to traditions which made them more powerful then women of the same role as them of which had been a noticeable issue for quite sometime now, of which would not change in a hurry. Although traditions were starting to get outdated they were still kept because they worked and no one was daring enough to make change. As people fear change and something to dramatic could easily mess with the public's mind. It was a smart idea to keep the traditions.. but their would be a time where they would have to be left behind of which would possibly not happen in this era in time. It was a surprise to hear the princess wanting to hear more about his boring life, well to him it was plain, simple and to low in social standards to be import or interesting yet she seemed to think other wise, and because of that soon he would begin to continue speaking about it. Even though Crystal had not ordered him to speak about it, he had already chosen to continue a little later.. but for now other things would occur that he could tell just from observation. Hearing the shopkeeper start to have a go at him and attack him for the person he was in the work force a sigh left him, everyday he had to put up wearing his poor clothes.. just getting enough money to survive and make a small profit and have bigger dreams only to be crushed by people like what was speaking at him right now although it seemed quickly that Aurora came to his defense of which he was glad that was the case. It would be impossible to say something in response without being laughed at or called a fool but she had the appearance of a noble.. (well the face of royalty literally) so maybe that would make the arrogant man listen.

"Such a man is your lover.. how can you let such a person be such a thing... foolish young girl, look at you.. missing out on your spot in being high up in the world.. and missing out on a great deal.." The owner was rather shocked almost outraged that someone had stood up to him and defended what he would refer to as filth. What was worse was she even spoke as if he was an equal.. and for the treatment Jason knew a deal had been lost... but it did not all make sense to him yet their was plenty of other opportunities. Seeing them walk away he shrugged looking as some of the people on the street lightly chuckled and walked away, Those two just cost me quite some business... Maybe telling a guard about them will be a good idea.. don't want people like that loitering around.. when it is less busy I am going to go find such a guard. Seth's cheeks were a little red still as the two of them walked away, such a comment was unexpected and yet part of him wished that, such words were the truth.. that was if she did not actually feel something mild for him already. "I am grateful for such a thing.. shame some people are just to rude to look past first appearances... but before we move on and buy something else.. I have something to ask, why did you say that we were lovers to the man...?. I ... i mean sorry.. i should not ask silly questions.. you just said the first thing that came to your head.. I think this stall looks ok" Once that was said he pointed to a store about a minutes walk away, which like he had said looked 'ok' but it was not exactly as good as that other stall.. if only the owner had been a bit more.. well not up himself anyhow.

Was it really wrong for Aria to say such thing? To say that Seth was her lover? It was wrong for him to tell that he thought Seth was wrong for her. Hell, she could care less when her parents said that someone was just right for her. If she wasn't going to listen to them she certainly wasn't going to listen to anything this fool said. "Well then, I guess I'm a foolish girl. At the very least I'm a happy foolish girl. That's all that matters to me in the long run." which was true. Letting out a sigh she brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, looking up at Seth once they had walked away. Why had she chosen the word lover instead of friend? Because maybe, just maybe, some where deep inside she was hoping it could be true like he did. She wanted to know what it would feel like to have someone care about you and not about your stats, ranking, or money. Seth fit that description but not like they could ever have anything. Nothing could ever be between them. Simple as that. She was royalty and he wasn't. In other words her parents would never approve let alone think about it. They were just stuck up like that but she loved them anyway. "Yeah, I did say the first thing that came to mind I'm sorry." She reached up, taking on her tippy toes a bit seeing how he was taller then her, and kissed his cheek. "But hopefully you'll forgive me for my lack of thought. It's not a silly question so no need to say sorry. My answer probably is though."

Walking over she looked around at the clothes at the new stall, tapping her finger against her chin a bit. Not as nice as the other stall but it was pretty close. It was as she looked at the mens clothing that an idea came to mind. "Come to my party tonight." she said suddenly, looking up at him, a somewhat hopefully glint in her eye. "My mom insisted on having a party for my birthday and I said it had to be masquerade so she agreed." she removed a small bracelet from her arm, the symbol for the royal family and a rose intertwined on it. "That's all you need to get in ok? But first we're going to buy you some clothes and a mask." She seemed pretty excited about the idea actually, and in truth she was. To be honest she wasn't quite sure why she invited him. Because she wanted to see more of him maybe? No, that could be it...Or well it could, she just couldn't admit it to anyone else other then herself. "Pick out what ever you want from here ok? And it can be more then one thing, I don't mind." Turning back to the merchant she picked out a dress for herself, to change in now, and a random dress that she liked. Not that she needed it but it was cute and she could probably wear it on her next outing.

Seth was still in slight shock from hearing those words from the princess's lips. Surely they were just for the moment.. after all what would a person of royalty and beauty want with someone who looked after a farm and worked most of the time,.. such compatibility had never even been considered yet alone spoke so freely in a sentence. It almost seemed like Aurora was actually wanting something like that to occur eventually, and considering how well the two got along for the differences in society that they shared... Well anything was a possibility as yesterday if he was told that a princess would meet him the next day he would just laugh. Yet here was Crystal.. well ... that was her cover name because if she went around being called Aurora, it would not the guards long to get her back to her castle ' for safety ' as apparently they were not allowed to have a life outside of their fortress as everyone could be a danger apparently... Yet it was obvious that Seth was no threat, and liked the princess.. more then he should consider. A soft blush appeared as he felt her soft lips press against his cheek briefly before he heard what she had to say. "Not at all Crystal... you don't need to say sorry after all I am the one that is less then of a noble.. and.." He went quite after realizing he almost was going to say his attraction to her, yet he quickly covered it up "Lets choose something from here.."

This came as surprise.. such a question he had not expected, what was more was he did not even know that it was Princess Aurora's birthday. Taking that into mind though he looked at her as if to say, I would look out of place but then remembered his appearance was very noble like,.. yet he just needed the appropriate clothes and then everything would be fine. He started to look what was on offer now as he lightly smiled "I would be honored to go.. and well... thanks " He was almost at a point of speechlessness, he a average person.. Seth with his slightly messy hair .. his noble blue eyes and physique.. was being asked to attend a royal birthday.. by the princess's beckoning.. This was all so much yet every moment so far was believed by the to be noble. He nodded at her before starting to sort through clothes. It did not to long as he found quite a few respectable looking clothes, of which he grabbed a pair of pants, that looked like they would last, a simple neat looking shirt was then added to that, and to top it off, a coat that mainly had the whole look of the appearance.. He hovered them over himself before thinking of trying on a few sizes "What do you think Crystal?.."

She had to admit, she was more then a little surprised that he agreed to come. In all honesty she had expected him to say no. May it be because he was slightly intimidated or because he thought she was kidding. " Really? Thank you! But it's not a problem at all." It was obvious to tell that she got excited over the littlest things. Or well they were little to everyone else but it was kind of big before. She never had a real friend before, or anyone that she could have even come close to calling a friend, come over because she invited them. All the people at her party were normally people that her mother invited and that never made her happy. None of the people were really...well, people. They were crude, rude, vile demons in disguise that loved nothing more then to see other people suffer. Or at least that was her opinion on them. Sure it wasn't nice but neither were they. But Seth was different, and she liked that, she liked that a lot actually. That was probably one of the reasons that she liked him, among other things.

While he looked for clothes of his own she looked for clothes herself. Did she need anything? No not really but a new dress would have been nice to get out of these clothes as well as just some things to wear out of the house. Shopping never hurt anyone, or at least it never hurt her anyway or anyone that she knew...Put she grabbed a few simple sundresses of multiple colors and two bags to carry everything in. Once she had finished she watched as Seth picked out his clothes, nodding at the things that he chose. "We'll need to get you a mask from some where else but that'll do just fine. I think you'll look very handsome. Not saying that you don't already but...I'm just going to stop talking now." She grabbed her coin pouch and paid for the clothes, putting them in the bag. "Will you be fine walking around in those clothes up until the party?" she asked, slipping the bags on her shoulder.

Generally someone like Seth would have kindly declined, after all such a thing did not sound like something he should be at.. but another part of him felt it was in his right to be allowed to go to something if an invitation was given and well now he would at least look the part of being noble, and well he knew how to act like one.. naturally just the appearance side of things was always his weakness because he could not afford the sort of things they wore.. but thanks to princess Aurora.. at least such a thing was possible now. He would still call her Crystal outside of the castle though so that it would not be obvious of who her identity was.. the main reason being he just wanted to spend time with someone that he would usually only dream of even getting a few minutes of her time. It was actually quite amazing that even though she was asking the questions, she was the one that got super excited if the answer was good.. it was almost cute to actually see yet Seth knew he could not say such a thing without probably blushing and so kept it to himself so that his feelings that he felt slightly at this point in time... were at least hidden, after all their was quite a possibility nothing would happen between the two of them because of the differences that was between them.

A mask was a good idea really, it would help conceal himself more incase one of the people that would be their would recognize him as a low farmer, well.. son of a farmer who was forced into the culture.. well agriculture to be more accurate. His blue eyes fell onto her as she spoke and a small laugh escaped him as she seemed to stumble a little over her words. It was then that he decided to be a little playful, it would not be off any harm anyhow. He decided to answer the last question first though "I am fine with wearing them up to the party from this point in time.. but now going back to what you were saying.. i saw a blush appear on your face when you said it.. right about.. here" on the last word he poked lightly a spot on her cheek before continuing what he was saying "It was actually cute.. that someone of royalty could actually blush over someone like me.. a compliment and yet a sign you are human like other females around.." a soft laugh escaped him before he thought for a moment. "Well since you called me your lover earlier.." he lent and kissed her cheek "that's for buying me the clothes.."

The girl could still feel a bit of heat in her cheeks, especially when she felt him touch her cheek. "Well yeah...It happens..." she murmured, holding the bag of clothes even closer to her chest, her eyes averted to the ground. It was when he called her cute that her cheeks turned a little darker, "I'm not a god you know, I'm human, or well something like that anyway, just like you. I'm allowed to be embarrassed, have crushes, and all of the other things that comes with being a teenager." Which was true, she was able to feel things just like any other person. She couldn't understand why people thought people of royalty were so much different from everyone else. They were people like everyone else with regular emotions, they just had a little more, ok a lot more, power then most people. They were allowed to love and laugh like everyone else. It was a little hard for her to remember that sometimes but right now it wasn't hard at all. "I thought we agreed that me calling you my lover was because I wasn't thinking?" she smiled, giggling a bit as she felt him kiss her cheek. Well that was nice.

"Anything else you feel like thanking me for?" she said, reaching up to kiss his nose lightly. In all honesty Seth should have considered himself a very lucky boy at the moment. The last time guy tried to kiss her anywhere they almost got shoved in an oven. But she liked Seth, a lot, which was probably why she could let him do things she didn't let any other man do. "But come on, lets get out of these clothes so we don't catch a cold." Turning around to ask the shop owner about a changing stall he led them into the back, two little rooms now in their view. "Thank you." she said, stepping into one and removing the wet articles of clothing. The girl didn't realize until now just how cold she was. Throwing on a pretty light orange sundress she bought she slipped off her white sandal and put on a pair of orange ones that she bought. Placing her wet clothes into the bag she stepped out, feeling a lot better now that she was dry. "Oh and Seth," she started, leaning on the wall beside his door, "I probably have to leave in a little while so I can get ready for the party. But as soon as you begin to see a lot of nobles making their way to the castle then come over because the party is starting." She didn't have to go for a little while but still felt the need to warn him.

Generally Seth knew that either royalty or high up nobles would make such comments yet he seemed to be having an effect on her with each one, it seemed her face changed in various shades of vibrant reds from his words and it made it all the more obvious she was just like any other females.. well that he knew anyhow, make the right comment and their cheeks would flush with color and they would probably say a few choice words to try and hide their embarrassment while they are pulling themselves together again. Her comments had truth in them though so he did not bother arguing with the princess on them.. it was not like he was going to anyhow, yet he continued saying what he wanted to say. Part of him did not know what it was doing when his lips placed themselves onto her cheek, she had not pushed away which was a good sign and even seemed to utter a small giggle yet quickly he came to realization on what just occurred and could not help but flush up himself, his cheeks going vibrant when she spokeâ?¦ and well when she lightly kissed his noiseâ?¦ his cheeks just went darker then he thought was possible and now he knew what it was like for her earlier.

He managed a shake of his head as an answer still a little speechless before feeling a cold chill driven down his spine by the wind when she made him realize, that he was still in wet clothes from earlier. Slowly he followed not used to even being able to go into these shops let alone asking to change into some bought clothes from such a place, Seth was considering himself rather lucky at the moment and was rather thankful that out of his parents he had acquired more of his mothers genes then his fathers.. of which it was rumored she came from very noble ancestryâ?¦ yet that could just be a rumor but his looks said otherwise. Quickly he changed out of his wet old clothes, into something that looked more upper class as he heard Auroraâ??s voice.. although he had already decided once at the party he was simply going to be polite and say princess and act like he always had abided by the formalities.. which he would have at least had to have broken twelve just from meeting and giving her a tour of the town and then kissing her.. he could not really shake the fact he had done such a thing and yet her voice disturbed his thoughts and so he continued to get changed into the more fancy clothes. â??Thatâ??s a shame.. but I understand, how long does that leave us then togethâ?¦ I mean.. us as friends together.. â??

"Aww," she began, a hint of mock sadness in her tone, "Only as friends hm? I thought we were lovers Seth. What happened?" she chuckled, brushing a strand of hair back behind her ear. "All jokes aside though I would say maybe another half hour or hour tops. I still have to get ready and thats going to take a lot of time." Mainly because her mother would want to do two things tonight; 1. Scold her for leaving the castle and give her some kind of lecture and 2.Get her ready for that party. That would mean doing her hair, getting her into her dress, looking for her shoes, practicing the entrance one more time, and the list only went on and on. If anything Crystal's mother was a perfectionist and would rather die then have something go wrong on her daughters birthday, it was most important day in the world to the queen, she had said so herself. And after this the only thing the queen would really have to work on was finding her lovely daughter a boy to marry, but that wasn't the easiest thing ever. It would have been if all the boys weren't complete and total...well, she wouldn't go there right this second.

"We should probably leave here in a few..." she stopped for a moment, listening. The sound of clanking armor was only a few feet away, along with many deep voices, one of which she knew from anywhere. Oh crap. Without really thinking about it, actually she didn't think about it at all, Crystal opened up Seth's door and went inside, shutting the door quickly and leaning her head against the wood. "I'm really, really, really, reallllly sorry about this but there are guards coming in." she whispered, her voice some what panicked. She didn't want to go back just yet, that was out of the question. Though if she wanted to avoid the guards it would have probably been better if she had gone into the spare changing room instead of the one that was already occupied, to late for that now. "And I'm sorry for coming in here by the way. But I'll stay turned around."

A faint blush emerged across Sethâ??s face as she brought back the promise which although she originally had said it, he had brought it back up.. She knew exactly what to say when it came to well.. it almost seemed saying anything. He could only guess why preparations would take so long and it all boiled down to royalty.. they definitely had a slower method of getting things done then the average personâ?¦ a party for a normal or sometimes a noble would take just getting dressed and off they goâ?¦ but for royalty there was tradition to follow,.. things that had to be said and everything had to be perfect via many peopleâ??s standardsâ?¦ it was mainly about image and building a reputation. Crystal then started to say some words which he went to agree to before hearing her voice stop saying any words that were about to leave them, he knew not what was going on.. but continued getting clothes on, luckily for his sake.. she entered once he had got his pants on.. or else he would have probably had some sort of nervous reaction that would make who ever had scared her as such, enter.. and then Sethâ?¦ well he had no clue what would happen..

He could hear a slight panic aroused in the princessâ??s voice before he heard the chink of what sounded like armor, .. it made sense now at least and quietly he replied, but only in a whisper. â??It is fineâ?¦ I already have pants.. on, and I guess itâ??s not the first time.. someone has seen me half naked..â? A soft gentle laugh left his lips, he was actually a little nervous from how close Aurora was, and wellâ?¦ he was reasonably proud of his body but still the thought of royalty seeing it.. well it made a blush reemerge, his mind started to wonder how long the two of them would be in her together as he slowly started to adjust his belt to tighten it slightly before looking at his shirt, it was next to go on.. and it would be followed by another more fancy shirt, and then .. some sort of soft material that was made into a coat which would probably be needed.. He was actually quite curious how it would all look.. and then add a mask, tonight would probably be interesting..

" Even if you already have on pants I'm not turning around until you're completely finished..." She wasn't entirely sure if that was childish or not, hopefully it wasn't. Despite her age the princess had yet to see a man undressed in any sort of way. Because of that some of the nobles often teased her for have 'virgin eyes', but not like she cared. She didn't want to see a man naked, or partly naked for that matter, until after she was married. But that wasn't looking so well...Leaning against the door she jumped, almost letting out a squeal when it was pounded on. "Is there any body in there?" Great...just great. "Yes, me." She spoke in a much lower pitched tone, sounding like an adult woman. "Sorry to intrude ma'am but have you seen Princess Aurora roaming around anywhere? It was said a girl resembling her came back here a few minutes ago." Wait a second she knew that voice...It was Kerr! Her favorite knight out of them all. He had been assigned to watch her shortly after her mother had found her, so there was no denying that they were close. As much as she wanted to tell him the truth, or at least invite him in to do so, she knew she couldn't and she felt so bad for lying. "No, I have not. My apologies. I shall keep my eyes open though." "Thank you." With that Crystal listened as the clinking of armor got further away. "I'm going to get out of here now."

Opening up the door she stepped out, shutting it softly behind her. Letting out a sigh she shook her head, noticing something out of the corner of her eye. Great, Kerr hadn't left. Everyone else did, he didn't. Why did he have to be the smart guard? "Princess..." "Please don't. I know I'm in trouble." "Not by me but by your mother. How did you manage to get out?" "I get bored during the day and find trap doors." "That would do it I guess..." the male guard sighed, patting Aurora's head. "Do me a favor and try to come back soon ok? I know how much you want to be out so I'm not going to drag you back just yet." "You mean it?" "Would I ever like to you?" Crystal smiled, hugging her friend tightly. "Thank you so much! I promise I'll be back soon." "You better or your mom might skin us both." "Got it." Letting go of the male she rocked back and forth on her heels. "Wanna meet my new best friend?" "Sure, don't see why not."

He actually had a slight respect for the comment although it was more childish then anything else, considering she was royalty and princess she probably had never actually seen a man naked in any form as such, of which considering her age, he had a feeling the nobles would make a few choice comments and teases.. Seth turned to look at the door as it was pounded on a soft sigh escaping him. This was obviously not going to be good, of which he was probably going to get busted for even being with the princess. He honestly thought that the voice acting she showed was enough to caused them to go away, the chink of armor as they walked convincing enough before hearing Auroraâ??s comment â??Ok.. I will be out shortlyâ? He only had a few more things to sort out.. and then he was completely dressed up respectable, his shirt was on and he started to fiddle with the collar making sure it was fine before starting to put on his shoulder to rest it their for now, he did not need to fully where it, only partially so it did not just slip off and away, as he finished up he heard Crystal speaking to someone and so poked his head out enough just to look.

It slightly surprised him to then see one of the towns guards and her hugging, here he was.. thinking possibly.. just possibly something could occur between them after some time but it seemed she already had people in mind.. this slightly saddened Seth but then he just shrugged it off, after all a princess and a almost noble.. but not noble farmer,.. well it just did not work.. well in theory. Hearing the last statement he decided to walk out now completely erasing those thoughts of his mind that were just their a moment ago. Considering who he was Seth just stayed quiet for a moment before deciding to speak up â??I am Seth.. and you are?â?

"See, my new best friend." Crystal said as Seth stepped out of the dressing room, watching as the night pretty much examined him. "Kerr, I am the princesses body guard." It could be said that he was doing a bad job of it seeing how she had gotten out but whatever..."Noble?" He asked, looking over at Crystal. "No, but he's playing the part tonight. Say anything to anyone and you and I will have some problems." The girl chuckled, shoving her hands into the pockets of her dress. "So is he playing anything else?" "Well...around town he's playing my lover." And as expected from anyone who was close enough to be a big brother figure Kerr didn't appear to be at all happy with those seven words, especially the lover part. "Really now?" "Yes, but it's not real ok? As much as I...Never mind. Just know that it's not real." If anything she sounded a bit disappointed as she spoke those words but it was true, it wasn't real. There was no way possible that it could have been real, much to her dismay.

Walking over to stand beside Seth she held his hand, leaning against him a bit. "I'll be back inside the castle soon ok?" "Alright...Just be careful, someone tipped out a couple of guards that you're out here so try to stay out of sight ok?" "I'll try. Ok, see you back home." She watched as Kerr made his way out of the dressing area and back outside into the streets, catching up with the other guards. "He really worries to much some times..." she murmured, shaking her head with a sigh. He was just doing his job so not like she could be angry about it. " Is there anything you want to do now or should we just walk around for a little while?"
