See, this is why the printed word is dying.

"Wait, it takes more than six seconds to read? Forget it; too long!"

This may also be why America's educational standards in the world are declining...

Though it's probably the bigger fool, I, who continues to type things the kids won't bother to read...
I was so kidding, I'm an English major believe it or not..
I love your lengthy posts, =]

Actually, I tend to believe the printed word is dying because a bunch of asshats who learned to type from internet forums completely butcher grammar with phrasing like 'Though it's probably the bigger fool, I, who continues to type things the kids won't bother to read...'

There is a way you can use 'The bigger fool, I'. That is NOT it.
'K, for one thing, I was being artistic, or attempting to, and hoping that the semi-poetic phrasing would allow it to come across as mildly comic. Thanks for proving once again that the internet is tone-deaf, and can't trace back a few posts to see how the whole thing came out from a joke in the first place.

I'm not flaming, but I am feeling attacked, so I'm just getting... well, pissy, I guess, in response.

Very glad to hear you were kidding, and glad you read my response as mildly comic, as I had hoped.

Though it does go to show that I, myself, can be tone-deaf on the internet. Usually I'm more perceptive than that, but everyone has epic fail from time to time...

wow, that's awefully big-headed of you.

mr bigot.

I now realize that 'pig-headed' would have fit here better.

but we can't edit in GD anymore, so I'm going to spam up another post
simply because I wanted to edit 1 letter.
Oh, I think big-headed also conveys the kind of scorn you were looking for.

And "bigoted" isn't precisely accurate. See above re: mildly comic. "Pig-headed" I would accept; also "grouchy," "cynical," or even "crankypants," but "bigoted," based on one expression of reading frustration? Harsh and unfair, my friend, harsh and unfair.
