Depends on how you handle it, some pigtails can look rather punky depending on the outfit and hair color.

My hair's brunette, and doesn't not do pigtails well. lol. They end up falling out within five minutes of me doing them. I want to get my hair died black with red, yellow and orange streaks. That'll be fun.
