Ebisu nodded. “I want to help with the evacuation first, get the civilians here out of danger. I’ll meet up with you after- there was another demon that was hanging around, I want to make sure he’s dealt with.”

“Hai hai..” She stood with some effort, moving with a slight limp to where she saw a few muscle mice carrying her sword, a tachi with a gold and silver grip in a silver scabbard. She took her blade, nodding in thanks to the mice before beginning evaluation of the women inside the chamber.

They all appeared fine, simply unconscious still from being trapped in the sash. The slayer with the boar mask, who she learned was named Inosuke, was busy shaking a blond boy vigorously as he shouted at him to wake up.

Ebisu left the other slayers to their own tasks, joining Suma and Makio in the efforts of evacuation, having to carry each woman out one by one.

Ebisu moved over to her, kneeling beside her and gently shaking her shoulder to try and rouse her. “Akatsuru, we need to leave.”

Ebisu helped her sit up, a soft frown on her face. “You were taken by a demon, we’re evacuating all civilians now, you’re the last one.”

“Ah, well, it was more of my comrades came and freed us both- I got caught looking for you.” She said, a little embarrassed.

Ebisu smiled softly and helped her stand. “We have to get moving, this place isn’t safe and we have yet to get rid of the demons.”

Ebisu gave a firm nod and carefully picked up Akatsuru, holding onto her tightly. “Don’t let go.” She said, making her way out of the massive hole Tengen had opened up in the ground above them.

Akatsuru held onto her tightly, scrambling just a bit since her legs were still sort of weak, but she managed.

The reached the surface and Ebisu stopped for a moment. “Can you walk?” She asked softly over her shoulder.

Ebisu noticed her frown, and didn’t set her down, keeping a firm hold on her. “It’s ok if you can’t, I’ve already had to carry injured out.” She said, starting off at a quick pace away from the district.

"I-I just don't want to be a burden! You obviously have very important things to do!" She said, before an explosion sounded and one of the buildings collapsed.

Ebisu knew the fight had begun when she heard the familiar sound of explosions from her masters fighting technique. “Evacuating civilians is important.” She hurried in the opposite direction, instructing stragglers to follow her as they went, Ebisu wanting to get a safe distance from the fighting before leaving Akatsuru.

When they were far out of the district, to the point Ebisu could barely hear Tengen's breathing style, Akatsuru took a breath as she steadied herself on her legs.
"Ganbate ne, Ebi. I expect to see you back here when that nonsense is finished."

Ebisu gave a firm nod, and a small smile. “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of things from here on, just make sure to stay with the others here and don’t come any closer.” She said firmly.
