Ebisu gave a soft smile. “Hopefully he listens.” She said, gently washing Akatsuru’s back.

“Take any clients last night?” Ebisu asked as she carefully washed her back. “Hear anything good?”

She gave a soft sigh, "Just that Warabihime is raising in the ranks incredibly fast for a girl who was only purchased not too long ago.." She said, "I tire of hearing of her, she's not even that pretty..."

Ebisu’s curiosity was peaked, curious about this perfect oiran. “Warabihime? I don’t think I’ve heard of her yet.” She said, hoping to hear more information.

She scoffed gently, taking a spare rag to scrub her arms gently, "She's at Kyogoku House. She's only been there a few weeks...a little longer than you've been here, Ebi...and already she's almost an oiran..."

Ebisu made a soft noise, maybe she was simply that talented and beautiful, maybe something else was going on. There was no proof of anything, only odd happenings with no clear indicator. “Maybe shes drugging the men?” She joked lightly, gently washing the nape of her neck and her shoulders.

Ebisu would have to investigate more on this Warabihime, she’d send word to him too on her once she found out, glad she had found another lead. “Wash my back for me?” She asked with a sheepish smile.

Ebisu let out a soft chuckle, turning her back to her. “Thanks, it’s always hard to reach, no matter how flexible you are.” A long large scar ran down her back diagonally, old and silver, but by how large it was, it must’ve been deep.

Ebisu had almost forgotten the large scar that ran across her back, frowning softly. “Ah, it was from an accident on the farm I lived on.” She said, which wasn’t all a lie.

“No, no, it was years ago, it doesn’t hurt at all now.” She said shaking her head. “But thank you.. really..”

Ebisu enjoyed the silent time in the bath with Akatsuru, almost forgetting about her injuries.

Ebisu was taken by surprise, feeling her face flush a deep red, but she didn’t move away. “Akatsuru..?” She asked softly, heart beating hard.

She shook her head, looking over her shoulder at her. “N-No, it’s ok, I just wasn’t expecting it..”

“No!” She turned fully to face Akatsuru. “No.. it doesn't… not you, at least.” She said softly.

Ebisu looked down at the water, remembering the words Tengens wives said. “Is there anything so wrong with that?” She asked softly.
