Character: Tobias

Player Group: All present in Common room and who may enter during the party

Location: Twin Rivers House, Common Room.

Tobias smiled warmly at Berry quickly signing his hello with his customary teasing calling him Delinquent . The affectionate gleam in his amber eyes brightened at the offered bottle. Accepting he took a deep pull from the bottle and let the smooth, delicious brew wash over his tongue and down his throat. Not wanting to finish off Berry's bottle he stopped and raised a questioning eyebrow at his remark about the party being missed, it was obvious that they were just setting up from something, which meant something else had happened. Still holding the bottle he asked Berry to explain what he meant.

Handing the bottle back Toby lifted his chin slightly and scented the air. There was a lot going on per usual but there was a new person in the house, which wasn't unusual for this place. His thoughts were interrupted by another friendly voice welcoming him home. Turning to Mason and Lucinda as he was greeted he flashed them both a toothy smile, the scars on the right side of his face causing the smile to look more like a snarl but the warmth was still there, as were his teasing nicknames for them, Ghost boy and Scary girl, the devious duo. Walking deeper into the the room he passed by Sen and gave her a wave smile asking the river pixie how she was as he made his way to the kitchen.

Crossing the threshold into the kitchen he smiled warmly at the smells. This was one of the things he missed to most about being away from home. The cooking. Spotting Jazz when he entered he smiled at her and gently sent her a wave a warm emotions, it was similar to how the pack spoke while in wolf form, but nowhere near exact. His hands wove the greeting of "hello sunshine". Looking at Lucas he asked how he could help him Chef, using the word as both a title and nickname for the young pack member.

As good as it was to be home there was still that scent of tension in the air, and the new smell of something very old. Dismissing the strange scent he focused his amber eyes on pair in the kitchen awaiting orders. He would help them get things set up, he had time afterwards to meet up with the mothers and debrief them on his trip. For now he wanted to bask in the feeling of being home.

LOCATION: Twin Rivers House/Common Room.

Oh he definitely meant one of those killer dolls when he said so to Lucinda. Like that crazy murder doll Megan in that one horror movie. He didn’t doubt she had the same capability and motive if she wished so. But Tiberius wasn’t about to let that on. Lucinda told him to be ready, that her terms were already decided, but he just shrugged and rolled his eyes in mock-indifference. ”Psh, keep dreamin’.” He taunted her back, but was grateful when she sauntered off to fetch the special bottles. And yes, he had to watch those long legs of hers and perfect hips sway as she meandered off. No, too bad, that wasn’t going to work on him this time, he was going to win.

He had the cups arranged with precise measurements from the edges of the table, in a spearhead formation pointing to each other, when Lucinda returned with the bottles, as well as Mason finally waking his ass up from his nap. Along with his constantly awake or napping familiar. Damn, Tiberius was jealous he could sleep so much. ”Whaddya say, Mason?” Tiberius greeted him nonchalantly, coming over to help a lady with the bottles she brought up. ”Thanks, doll.” He teased her again, taking the bottles to the table and beginning to pour out a very precise amount into each cup. Enough to weigh them down good and not having them shifting and nudging all over the place from thrown shots. Meanwhile, he just listened to Luce and Mason chat it up.

”Mans got an internal alarm clock when it comes to partying, eh?” He teased Mason lightly, for his perfect timing in showing up for the drinking and partying. Who was going to stop them anyways? There were no concerns about work, or schooling. Maybe some research into spells or rituals, but everyone set their own schedules here.

Tobias Gordy returned, from where or what, that would no doubt be explained in good time. He took the bottle cheerfully enough from Tiberius and drank his fill. Tobias inquired silently about which particular party he had missed, causing Tiberius with shrug and roll his head. ”Man, it’s a long story. I’ll fill you in later. Some weird shit popped off like not even a hour ago. But go on, get settled in. No danger now. I think.” Tiberius just informed him, letting Tobias go to make his greetings to other. Later on, they could chat his ear off with all the updates about what he missed.

So. What’s your end of the bet? Lucinda tried to dig at his thoughts, looking over his shoulder, drifting in real close. He had to mentally will himself not to shudder too physically. Her presence was light and featherweight on him. Damn, she smells good. He probably smelled like the forest, smoky oak and all, if one could classify it. Tiberius just flashed her a vague smile at first, continuing to measure out the amount of liquor in each cup, getting down to eye level with the rims with a solemn gravity of intent and purpose. Not a single cup should have more or less of a sliver of beer than the others. Well, maybe he might cheat and put an extra hair’s worth of beer on Lucinda’s side. Maybe. Would she see it? Probably. What was she going to do about it?

”Huh? Ghost?” Tiberius said, ducking and dodging Lucinda’s question and looking up to see the apparition. No doubt to normies, that would be a sight for fear and shock. In this household, just everyday shit. ”Oh hey, welcome.” He said casually to the ghost, leaving it to Mason to handle. Shifting over to check the amount in each cup from the other side of the table, separating from Lucinda for a moment, he looked over to her. Still bent over the table, Tiberius would be looking up at her. A familiar sight? ”My bet? I got a few ideas.” He said, wiping his hands in indication that his measuring was mostly done, fetching two clean solo cups, putting one before himself and another before Lucinda, filling them up with some of his special beer. Just the usual brewing, with an extra spell or two of glamour and taste. He picked his up and held it to toast with her.

”My end of the bet, let’s see…” He continued to muse, vague as always to mess with her, raising his cup to drink while his own eyes peered at her, enticingly, over the rim of his solo cup. Still, he delayed the answer, turning towards the interior of the house. ”Yo, yo! Games ready, whoever wants ot play!” He just shouted out, inviting any of the other house mates to come join, if they were free and able. Turning back to Luce, he pressed his cup to hers again in a toast. One always had to drink after a toast. It was mandatory. ”I don’t want to say it. There’s ladies present.” He teased her, polishing off his cup in one go after that. What was she going to do, match him or not?

Character: Jasmine Elendale
Player: Group: All active
Location: Twin Rivers House

Jasmine silently pondered on what Seneca had said. Her and Lucas? Together? It was true that the two of them enjoyed cooking for the coven. When it came to preparing food and working around the kitchen, they were a good team. Cooking and baking with the werewolf was always fun. It was a lot better than being alone during the activity. Plus, it was a bonus that Lucas was easy to be around when it came to her intrusive innate ability as an empath. He was one of the few people she was able to properly relax around without worrying too much about receiving unwanted emotions and energies. Jasmine figured she just never really considered having someone romantically. For one, she was worried that she'd be a hassle to deal with because of her abilities. Secondly, she wasn't sure she was all that appealing. She knew she was rather awkward and quiet, and not in the sexy mysterious way. However, as she entered the kitchen, she forced such thoughts out of her head to avoid getting flustered just being around Lucas as they cooked together. The last thing she wanted to do was ruin the little friendship they did have by something silly!

"Ooo spinach puffs!" Jasmine piped up as she flounced up to Lucas's side. She watched with bright, shimmering eyes as she placed the frozen snacks on the cookie sheet. Already, she had an idea for what she wanted to make. Something to pair with the spinach puffs. "I can make some pigs in a blanket, and add some poppy seeds on the top..." She mused, tilting her head a little in thought as she considered the thought.

"Yup! That's what I'll do!" She beamed over at Lucas before dancing her way around the kitchen. Her hair and clothing spin around her like an elegant whirlwind as she picked out the ingredients she would need. In doing so, she looked over at when Tobias arrived, her smile getting wider at the rush of warm emotions he sent her way. Her eyes lit up, and she waved at him enthusiastically in greeting.

The pigs in a blanket she made for the coven were easy, but a nice favorite among those who ate meat. Plus, after whipping them up, making her famous raspberry and white chocolate cookies would be next! Small parties like the one some of them starting to initiate was a perfect excuse for making delicious finger food. Once Jasmine got the ingredients out that she would need, she put on a cute black and white apron and tied up her wavy brown hair in quick ponytail. After, she washed her hands before starting to make the batter for the breaded part of the pigs in a blanket. She hummed quietly to herself as she focused on her task, whisking the ingredients together with a sense of peace. She loved cooking - especially when she could combine it with baking. There wasn't anything quite like the sense of happiness she got when her edible artistry not only came out looking good, but was also enjoyed by the people that were like family to her. With the batter ready, Jasmine pulled out a baking sheet and began to shape the batter as she laid it out into diamond shapes. Taking one of the little hot dogs, she placed it at the end of one corner and carefully wrapped it up like a crescent roll. Then, she continued to do this until she was out of the batter she whipped up. With the uncooked pigs in a blanket, she transported them onto two cookie sheets to start cooking them.

"Is the oven open for use?" She asked, finally breaking out of her focused trance and looking back over to Lucas. If he was still using the oven for the spinach puffs, then she would happily set aside her pigs in a blanket and get started on her cookies. Either way, they were going to get made!

"Yes, how horrifying it would be to desecrate the ears of ladies," Lucinda sneered, finishing off her cup just as Tiberius did as she matched him without hesitation, "Thankfully, I'm a bad bitch." Lucinda didn't get the answer that she asked, but that was fine. He wouldn't get the chance to make due on his bet anyways. She was planning on winning this game of beer pong.

It was then that the door burst open again. A young woman with toned brown skin stepped through. Her black hair was layered with lighter brown highlights. The wavy tresses bounced down at her shoulders. Her built body was clothed in fitness attire. She wore a red tank top and black running shorts. Her rich brown eyes rested on the scene she walked in on, raising her eyebrows at the setup. Apparently there was going to be a fun game of beer pong going on. Immediately, her eyes settled on Mason. After all, Mason might as well be her warlock. He's not the one who turned her into a werewolf, but he was the one she spent her time protecting. That's how it has been since high school when they met. He was her main priority in the coven, even though she really did care about everyone else here as well. Given how well she knew Mason, she understood when he was interacting with a spirit, even if she couldn't see it herself. A stiff Chex was also a good indicator.

"Mason, what have I said about talking to ghosts? It'll just attract a bunch of them to you," She scoffed as she walked in, kicking the door shut behind her.

"Quinn! Mrs. Bently came in alone though. Just give me one more minute!" Mason replied, glancing over at her with a small smile before turning back to the old lady ghost. This would be an easy little case. She just didn't entirely understand what was going on when she passed away. He saw this a lot with ghosts that either pass away in their sleep or were unconscious in some way when they died. All he needed to do was show that she had died, and she would move on. Mason knew that Quinn wasn't happy he was even talking to her, but this was just one small little ghost that needed less than five minutes of his time to pass on.

"Quinn! You're on my team!" Luce called out with a wide grin.

"Nope," Quinn answered without hesitation, "I'm on whatever team Mason is on."

"Ugh. So predictable," Lucinda huffed while she poured more of Tiberius's beer into her cup. "Mason, what team are you on?"

"Uhhhh," Mason gave a small wave to Mrs. Bently, who patted his head with her ghostly hand before she dissipated into a bright light and blipped out. He looked between Lucinda and Tiberius nervously. He didn't want to be on either of their wrong sides. However, as his eyes settled on Lucinda as she crossed her arms over her chest and bore those merciless pale green eyes into him..."Luce's team," He picked weakly. In his arms, Chex stirred awake and wiggled his paws in the air.

"Ha!" Lucinda smirked at Tiberius before looking to Quinn, "Looks like you're on my team after all."

"So be it," Quin huffed, slinging her arm over Mason's shoulders and poking Chex's belly with her other hand, "So long as Tiberius will have enough players on his side. If not, I'll just hang back and drink myself silly watching you all miss red solo cups with ping pong balls."

"Yeah, you're right," Elias sighed softly in response to what Sam said.

The last thing he wanted was to worsen anything. He knew he was prone to negative and addictive behaviors if he became too fixated about what happened regarding his sister. If he allowed those dark sensations and emotions to manifest and take hold, he worried how he would end up. Elias continued to work on the car, happy to get lost in the mechanics of the car. Machines and physics - comfortable subjects based in understandable theories and laws. Problems that had answers if one knew where to look in order to solve them. As he finished on this particular car, he heard more ruckus within the house.

"Sounds like something is getting wound up inside," He chuckled, finishing off the beer he had opened and setting it aside, "No doubt Berry and Lucinda have a hand in it. Should we supervise?"

The idea of supervision was only slightly joking. There was no telling what sort of things Lucinda and Tiberius would come up with together. Were such shenanigans usually fun? Certainly. They also might have a bad habit of getting out of hand if someone wasn't trying to ensure it stayed under control. From the two sounds of thudding doors, he assumed two people had arrived. One was likely Quinn since she had gone into Havenly to do her job. The other? Had Tobias returned? That's the only other person he could think would come to the house.

Character: Lucas// Samuel// House mother--Tana
Player/Group: Tiberius ( @BennyQ ), Jasmine/ Elias ( @ThatGeckoGirl ), Tobias (@Kosmik_Khaos )
Location: Common room

Lucas welcomed Seneca and Jasmine back into the common room and kitchen area, inspecting the spinach puffs to ensure they were uniform and equity space apart.

"Ooo, spinach puffs!"

Lucas glanced up with a smile and nodded, and let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, I thought they were easy finger foods. I must have thought that a few weeks ago, too, before I froze them."

"I can make some pigs in a blanket and add some poppy seeds on the top..."

"That would be awesome! I figure everyone ate dinner earlier, and some snacks should soak up that alcohol they are about to consume." He paused momentarily to look at the group that milled about the room, setting up for the game night. Being a Physician Assistant, he did worry about the states of their livers. He was pulled back into his task and stopped to watch Jasmine whirl around the kitchen much like she had with Seneca moments earlier as they made tea for the House Mother. She was gracious and kind. He felt he had stared too long. His cheeks burned, and he looked back down quickly at the cookie sheet. They were making a mess of the kitchen, but that was their shared domain. They would surely push anyone else out if they tried to intrude; Lucas knew that to be true.

Cleaning up the counters and pulling out plates for the snacks, he watched as Jasmine started in on cookie dough. He knew that the next work shift he had, he would be tucked away a few of those cookies into his lunch box.

"Y-yeah, the oven is ready. These will need to thaw to get that flaky top." He met her eyes briefly, blinked, and then looked away. What an awkward thing to say. He could have said the oven was ready. He didn't need to give her a whole story.... Lucas set his hands on the counter and looked forward, twisting his sides as if trying to stretch from standing too long in one spot.

"Are you-Are you going to join?" He asked, clearing his throat and tilting his head to motion to the table set up with alcohol and red solo cups.

Meanwhile, Sam and Elias worked in the garage, and Sam agreed that commotion was happening in the common room. He debated going back simply because he had had his fill of conversation and events, but he also didn't want his wolves to get out of control as they were prone to do. He thought about Everlee in her room, resting from being lashed by the fire tendril that had shot out from the orb in the forest. Too much curiosity bubbled under the surface of these magnificent creatures.

"Yeah, let's head back in," he said with a sigh, set down his tools, and headed past Elias and into the common room. He noted a nervous Lucas in the kitchen with a bubbly Jasmine and the rest huddled around, ready to start this game. Tana emerged from the darkness, having cleansed herself with the help of Karma. She looped her arms around Samuel and Elias's necks and watched.

"Who do you think will win?" She looked at each wolf beside her and hugged them tightly, silently thanking them for leading the team safely back home.

Berry just laughed and shook his head as they laid into Mason for his ghost-whispering. Mrs. Bently, huh? ”Ask her if she wants a drink.” He chuckled, before turning with a mock expression of aghast as Lucinda claimed Quinn on her team, who in term stated he would only play with Mason on his team, who then chose to be on Lucinda’s team. ”What? What am I, the invisible man here?” Berry pouted, frowning as no one rushed to be on his team. Didn’t they know a winner when they saw one? ”I can take all three of you if necessary, psh.” He said, throwing his hand up dismissively of the so-called Team Luce. ”I know exactly what I’m going to make you do if I win.” He playfully threatened Lucinda.

Others seemed to flow into the common room now. Sam and Elias out of the garage, Jasmine, Seneca, and Lucas over in the kitchen, cooking up something delicious. Housemother Tana came and perched herself between Sam and Elias. Everyone’s familiars, meandering about. Berry wondered how Karma and Everlee was doing, especially the poor wolf. Like him, she had gotten a lash of the flame. It still throbbed a little, under Berry’s shirt. Shame he had to open a can of beer pong ass whooping on the medic that helped him so graciously. Between the start of the game to the end of the game, they weren’t going to be friends. He could feel the thrill of a challenge swelling up.

He waved and nodded to Sam, Elias and Tana. ”What’s good, y’all. Come to watch a man fight a trio of crocodiles?” He teased at his opponent’s expense. He stood on his end of the table, bouncing one of the ping pong balls off it’s surface and catching it. ”Hey, no magic or secret spells or anything, eh? I’ll know if you did.” He tapped the side of his head, looking at Lucinda. Nah, they were pretty honorable when it came to this. But psyching one another out was just apart of the game.

”She’s got three, I need one or two more. Any of you in?” He pointed at the onlookers, his finger sweeping to Sam, Elias, even Tana. And then to the others in the kitchen. What were they making, spinach puffs? Probably best not to disturb them. ”Come on, I need two sacrifices- I mean, volunteers.” Berry joked, picking up one of the beer bottles to sip from and get this party started. ”Oooh this one’s going to have the wolves thinking the ceiling light is the moon.”

They can do some preliminary stuff while waiting for Team Berry to fill out. ”Let’s shoot for first. Stand opposite, make eye contact, shoot. Whoever gets it in, their team goes first. If we both score, we go again.” He explained the rules for those who might not know. Not to mention there was a myriad of house rules that could vary things up.

Seeing all was in hand in the kitchen, and not wanting to intrude on Lucas doing his best impression of a tomato he made his way back into the living room just in time to see Berry get ganged up on. With a shake of his head Toby walked over to Berry and gave him a nod, signing he would help keep the Delinquent out of trouble. Looking across the table at team Luce his lips curled into a half smile half snarl that made him look a bit unhinged and hungry. The playful gleam in his eyes was a dead giveaway that while he was there for fun, he aimed to win.

Tobias looked around the room for a third member to join. As he looked around he started to trash sign the other team while not even looking at them. Comments about how they shouldn't feel bad when an old dog teaches them new tricks and the such. When he did finally give the team his full attention again he locked eyes not with their team captain, but with their only wolf. Honey eyes bore into chocolate ones for a long moment before he winked at Quinn and threw her a quick set of signs telling the "pup" he wouldn't loose any respect for abilities after she lost, and it was okay to not be good at everything. He was trying to rile up that competitive nature of hers the same way Luce had been riling up Berry, all in good fun.

"Oh! Yeah, you're right! Great, thanks!" Jasmine beamed at Lucas while picking up her pan of pigs in a blanket. Their eyes lingered for just a moment until he averted his eyes from her. She blinked for a moment as the colors in his aura shifted. Light green was rising towards the surface around him. He was...embarrassed? Why was that? Quickly, Jasmine looked away herself. Looking at people's auras and assessing their emotions was something she tried not to linger on. It felt invasive to her. Those personal details weren't her business. A main emotion was too obvious to ignore since the color of that emotion just seeped out from people. The others that were smaller could be, for the most part, avoided. Embarrassment...maybe he had a thing for Seneca or something? Got embarrassed with her in the kitchen? Whatever it was, she did her best not to think too long and hard about it while reminding herself not to be so nosy.

Jasmine skipped over to the oven and opened it up before placing in the pan of the pigs in a blanket. She was really excited for them! They were going to taste so good. Then, it would be cookie time! Absentmindedly, she started cleaning up the part of the kitchen that she had used to make the pigs in a blanket. Of course, making the cookies would probably just make it messy again, but it would be less mess to clean up later! "I'm really looking forward to your spinach puffs! They're so flaky and light," Jasmine sighed in contentment as she thought about past spinach puffs Lucas has made. Honestly, their coven was lucky. Together, she and Lucas made to-die-for food. Thanksgiving was always a fun time. They always had to start the cooking a day before to make sure all the dishes were done by the set time for Thanksgiving dinner.

"Hm? Oh, I may have a cup or two of the beer," Jasmine stated, looking over to Lucas as she dried her hands on a washcloth after her cleaning, "but I don't plan on getting drunk or anything. I'll probably have tea afterwards instead. What about you? You gonna join in and be beer pong player number three?" It wasn't every day that Tiberius brought out his special brews. She didn't want to miss out on tasting it, but she also wasn't in much of a partying mood. Alcohol drinking felt more like a celebratory thing. The situation that happened today didn't seem like something much to celebrate.

Elias gave a light smile towards Tana as she came forward and looped her arms around him and Sam. "I'd say Lucinda, but Berry always manages to surprise me. So I'll go with Tiberius." He said with a small chuckle. However, so far it seemed that Tiberius was outnumbered. He watched as Tobias came forward to be the warlock's partner. That left Berry down one player. Everlee was in her room, so that left her out. Seneca, Lucas, and Jasmine probably wouldn't offer themselves up. That pretty much left him and Sam. Of course, they weren't required to play, but it seemed too bad to let one of the teams be outnumbered.

"Alright, I'll join," He spoke up, walking off from Sam and Tana a little reluctantly as he made his way over to Tiberius and Tobias. Elias wasn't normally one of the people who got up to these sort of games. He typically helped Sam out. In this case though, it didn't seem all that bad. Not all the witches and werewolves were partying. Besides, it was a good excuse to drink some of Berry's brew. He was pretty decent at this game. Admittedly, Elias had to admit it would be amusing to see Luce lose whatever bet it was she had with Tiberius.

"Well that's good, Berry. It gives you a goal worth striving towards as you're getting beaten," Lucinda smiled with toxic sweetness at Tiberius when he stated that he knew exactly what he'd be having her do should she lose. Slowly but surely, he was gaining other teammates though. First Tobias, and ,as they got ready to toss the ping pong ball to see who went first, Elias. Two werewolves on his side. It was no matter. They'd be faced with defeat anyways. Lucinda wasn't sure how coordinated Mason was regarding beer pong, but she had faith in Quinn. Quinn always pulled through, especially when it had to do with Mason. Since Mason was on this team, she would do her best to ensure victory for him.

"Alright, let's do this," Luce winked at Berry. She stood on one end of the ping pong table, holding the ping pong ball aloft in the fingertips of her right hand. Her pale green eyes met Tiberius's as it pertained to the rules.

From behind her, Quinn was giving a small laugh at Tobias's signs. She didn't understand all of them, but for the ones she did, she was able to piece them together to get a good idea about what he was saying. Her, a pup and not being good at everything? No way! "But Tobias, I'm already so good at just about everything I try! To lose this game would mean I didn't give it my all," She teased him back playfully, offering the older werewolf a wink. Mason nodded at her words. "Yeah, Quinn's definitely good at everything," He agreed, making Quinn punch the arm of her friend lightly and with affection. "Don't be too sad when I sweep the floor with you, old man," Quinn grinned at Tobias, "Even old dogs gotta sit out sometimes."

"3...2...1," Luce said aloud before tossing the ping pong ball with Berry. Her eyes didn't leave his, as per the rules, though she found she didn't mind having to stare into those mischievously enchanting blue irises. After all his trash talking about how she might use magic to cheat, perhaps that was his play instead. Not that she actually believed Berry would. Her ping pong ball just hit the edge of one of the red solo cups before flying off to the side. She missed that first sink, but that didn't mean the game was lost. It just gave the first throw to Team Berry. But that was fine. Victory would still be hers, Quinn's, and Mason's.

”Yeah, boy! That’s what I’m talking about. First day back, you already a winner.” Tiberius hyped Tobias up when the man signaled to join his team, offering his fist for a bump. He made sure to pour the man a beer too, content to be courteous for a variety of reasons. Humility in victory, that was the saying, right? Elias too hopped on the team, but only after giving Lucinda some respect on her name, to which Tiberius pretended to scoff at. ”You’re just hoping she doesn’t pick on you to drink when she scores.” He teased Elias, before chuckling and getting the man a beer as well. If she scores, know what I mean?” He said with a nod towards Lucinda. Whatchu goin’ to do ‘bout it?

Oh, he was ready for her now, her and her deadly, sweet smile. And tried not to shiver internally when she winked at him. Well, he was the one who made distractions and psych-outs a thing in this game, he just had to suffer it. Tobias was good for that too, throwing up all sorts of signs and nonverbal remarks, which seemed to get at Quinn, poor girl. But no! Time to focus. He held aloft his ping pong ball as well, mirroring Lucinda’s posture. Her green eyes were on his, his elbow tilting back and forth as if to clean the dust off the old motors in his arm.

3…2…1…lock eyes and shoot. She shot, and he shot, never breaking eye contact. Hers hit the rim of his lead cup and bounced. His…landed in the second row. His cheek was pushed up by the corner of his lips as he broke into a half-smirk. ”Ahhh shit. How you like that, Hershey’s cookies-and-cream looking…” he began to taunt Lucinda, referencing the white and black hues of her hair. It did look good, though. He couldn’t think of an appropriate end word so he just let the term go.

”We’re up, crew.” He said to Tobias and Elias. ”Toby, you’re up first. Set the pace for us.” He instructed, holding his hand out, ball in the center of his palm like it was being offered royally, for the other man to take and shoot. ”I’ll go next. Then Elias, you finish off the hunt. Just like old times.” Tiberius chuckled, sipping on his beer. Tobias could shoot first, whatever he might manage to do. Tiberius would go after…and miss. Damn. The solution to better accuracy though? More beer! So he stood aside and drank a few heavy gulps from his brew, letting Elias finish off their first shooting round, then letting Team Luce step up and do their three obvious misses, because that’s what he expected them to do.

Grinning Toby clapped Elias on the shoulder when he joined their side of the table and offered him his greetings and a kind of request to talk later. Toby tried to not make demands of the younger wolves, but there was something that had gone down that everyone was avoiding at the moment and he didn't want to break the mood. No, instead he chose to enjoy the moment for what it was, a happy home-coming.

Tobias smirked at Quinn's comeback, she wasn't wrong either. Signing back he accept her challenge telling her she would be disappointed when she didn't get to use him as a dust mop. Tobias crossed his hands over his heart and pantomimed getting shot at her calling him an old man, before shooting back that he would be the one making her sit soon enough. "3...2...1..." Tobias' eyes left Quinn to watch the balls sail across the table. He could easily follow the arc of Berry's from where he stood and knew it would land true. Lucinda's ball seemed like it would also make it right up until it didn't.

Eyeing Berry he shook his head at the half finished trash talk. There was a perfectly missed alliteration there but he let it go with a smile. Accepting the ball with a gracious, if not exaggerated nod of his Toby quickly lined up and took his shot sinking the ball in the back middle cup. Looking at Quinn he gave her a wink with his unscarred eye and blew her a little kiss while signing "Bring it."

The beer pong competition was underway! Luce had Mason shoot second, since he was the least skilled out of the three of them. She started their rounds, and Quinn ended them. The duel was an even one. Their three opponents were certainly skilled, but so were they. The ping pong ballad flew through the air. The sound of them clanging against plastic solo cups rang out, followed by vocal exclamations of triumph or disbelief. Luce was a master of sneaking in a bounce throw, though Elias began catching on to them enough to begin swatting them away. Beer was getting guzzled. Familiars watched their witches and warlocks with wide eyes, shooting glances at each other as if silently prideful of their person when they were successful.

It was near the end of the game. It had gone on for a little while now. Both teams had two cups before them, and it was Team Luce. Mason stepped forward and, after a moment of trying to aim, shot the ping pong ball. It hit the rim of the closest solo cup and bounced away, unsuccessful. Quinn gave Mason a small clap on the shoulder before stepping up. She barely aimed as she threw the ping pong ball with a tall arc. The ball cleanly sunk into the back. "Atta girl, Quinn!" Luce cheered, the two clapping their hands in a strong high five.

Taking a deep breath, Lucinda took her own ball and rolled it in her fingers. Her pale green eyes focused on the final cup. A sinister little part of her whispered the possibility to cheating this win, but her pride set aside the thought. What was the point of taking this win if it wasn't deserved? No, she'd claim victory from Tiberius fair and square. She didn't need to cheat to beat him. A confident little smirk tugged on her lips. Then, Luce released the ball in a carefully aimed toss. The white ping pong ball flew true, the perfect arc plopping it right into the cup. A giant grin stretched across Lucinda as Quinn and Mason cheered. Luce met Berry's eyes, haughtily tossing her hair back over her shoulder.

"Last chance per the rules, Team Berry. Either claim our last two cups to keep the game going, or settle into your inevitable defeat," She said. Though she didn't need to, Luce tilted back the rest of the beer in her cup, finishing it off.

Would this end the game in her win? Or would Team Berry make a shocking comeback?

The game turned out to be quite the slugging match, with no team able to get a significant lead before the other scored another cup or two to catch up and tie the game. Now they were down to two each. And a pretty strong buzz on everyone given the rules. That one had to drink when the other team scored. And with the vibe and atmosphere anyways, Berry had been drinking more even when it wasn’t his turn to drink. It was fun. It was thrilling. ”Ha ha.” He laughed when Mason missed, but that smirk was wiped clean off when the girls stepped up. Quinn and Lucinda both scored, one after the other, and suddenly…it was do-or-die.

”What the fuck, no way.” Tiberius scoffed, even as Lucinda smirked and knocked back her drink in a preliminary celebration. No, he wasn’t going to let this shit fly. ”Homeboys, it’s on y’all. Lead by example, I’ll follow up.” He encouraged Elias and Toby gravely. He believed in them. They wouldn’t let him down, right? They did. One miss after the other. It was basically game over. They had to hit two just to stay in the game. Berry’s shoulders slumped when he stepped up. It was already over. He still shot, and scored one, just so they wouldn’t go out like chumps. They went down fighting. By one goddamn, damn cup! ”Boo! That’s some bullshit, man.” Tiberius shook hos head.

”Good game, you guys. Good game.” He shook hands and hugged with his team mates first, clapping Elias and Toby on the back. They tried. God and Devil both knew they tried. He huffed through his nose and looked to the winning team. For a moment, he just glared, but…it was only a game, right? Well for four of them. Between him and Luce, it was something more. But he was a good sport. There was…always next week! He came over to Team Luce and held out his hand. ”Good game, y’all.” He said to Quinn and Mason. Yeah, after all the shit talk and trash talk, none of it was serious. Shake hands, have a drink, it was all good.

But then there was her. He came to her last, no handshake or congratulatory hug. He pretended to pout, brow furrowed and all, but his lips twitched in a near genuine smile, struggling to keep up the act. Yeah, she won. This time. He awaited his punishment.

Lucinda cheered upon her team's inevitable victory. She clapped her hand against Quinn's in a high five while Quinn slung her arm over Mason's shoulders. Victory was theirs! An inevitable outcome, really. A mischievous look crossed over Luce's features as her eyes turned to Tiberius. She won the bet between them. That meant he had to take the punishment she decided upon. Oh yes, this was an excellent evening, indeed .

Her eyes trailed Berry as he went from teammate to teammate. Even Quinn and Mason got handshakes of good sportsmanship from him. As he stood before her though, he merely seemed to pout. It was an adorable pout, made even sweeter because it was caused by her win. A light smirk tugged on her lips as she pushed herself closer to him so they were in an intimate distance from each other. Luce tilted her head up towards him, peering just under her dark lashes. With a finger, she reached up and lightly rubbed between his furrowed brow.

"Careful, or you may get brow lines," She teased him, "Ready to hear your end of the deal?"

Lucinda drew her lips close by his ear. Her body was just nearly pressing to his from the proximity, "Your punishment will take place in my room. You are to relax me by getting a taste...if you know what I mean."

Was it ambitious of her? Probably. Tiberius was her senior in witchcraft. In many ways, he was also like a mentor to her in the darker arts of magic. Of course, he could ways refuse. Luce would find a more appropriate condition to their bet. However, Lucinda wasn't someone to shy away from taking a chance at what she wanted, even if it meant overstepping what was considered conventional. Luce kept her voice low and alluring. It wouldn't be entirely clear to the werewolves unless they focused to hear what she said. Though, she really didn't mind all that much if they did hear. It was their fault for eavesdropping!

At the side, Quinn smiled sweetly towards Tobias upon her team's win, "Don't be too sad, old man! It was fun, right?" She cast him a wink at the statement before tipping back the rest of the beer in her cup.

Location: Twin Rivers House: Common Room; Tabitha's room

Tabitha, having slept soundly for the first time in ages, opened her eyes and peered around the room. Her body felt heavy and unfamiliar as if she had been reawakened into a strange and new world. She sat up and touched her arms gingerly, trying to discern if she were real.

The sounds of the house grew louder, a cacophony of giggles and conversations in a place where she had never truly belonged. So many voices, so many words unknown to her. While she had picked up a few phrases in passing, she didn't truly understand what she was hearing.

Meanwhile, in the common room, Karma patted Toby's arm, her jewelry jingling as she asked about his travels, eager to catch up and hear what he had discovered. Lucas, in the kitchen, felt an awkward but warm sense of belonging among his new friends, though darkness clawed at him from within, different from the wolf but still unsettling. He declined the invitation to join the games and instead suggested going for a run with Jasmine later as the strange aura around him grew more pronounced.

Tabitha's heart raced as she took in the unfamiliar sights and sounds of the house. She had been on her own for so long, wandering aimlessly through the forest, and now she was thrust into the midst of a lively gathering. The legends and stories she had heard during her travels filtered through her mind, tales of Havenly's secrets and the fear they struck into the hearts of those in the city. Though she knew not of their origin or connection, only the feeling of dread remained.

As she observed the animated conversations and laughter around her, she couldn't help but feel like an outsider in this close-knit group. She wondered if she would ever truly belong if she would ever understand the intricacies of their world... Again.

Karma and Toby continued their conversation, their voices a comforting backdrop to Tabitha's disoriented thoughts. In the kitchen, Lucas and Jasmine discussed their plans for the evening, the tea kettle on the stove beginning to whistle softly.

Lucas, his discomfort growing as the strange presence within him clawed for attention, masked his unease with a warm smile. He was eager to spend time with Jasmine, hoping that their run later would provide some clarity and distraction from the darkness he sensed within.

Tabitha, still feeling the weight of her own unfamiliarity, watched the interactions around her. She longed to find her place in this world, to uncover the mysteries of Havenly, and to learn the stories that had haunted her thoughts for so long. Her journey was far from over, and as she gazed out of the window into the night, she knew that there were countless adventures and revelations waiting for her in this enigmatic city. The story of Tabitha in Havenly was just beginning.
