She looked behind her and looked at Seth as he spoke before nodding slightly. "While Nurse Joy is looking me over, perhaps you should contact that Oak guy and let him know what all is going on." she said before looking forward again as she forced her way through the thick snow. Every now and then the snow would get deeper or it would get more shallow.
 
He nodded "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," he said, he actually had not thought to do that. As they walked he would stumble into the deeper parts, or trip if it got shallow or if some rock or ice was covered underneath He noticed however she didn;t even seem bothered by anyhthing. She may have been lighter then he, but even she should have sank into snow, no she seemed to almost glide through the snow.
 
Each time Seth stumbled or tripped, Jewel would stop and wait for him, concern filling her eyes as she gazed at him. "Do you want help Seth?" she asked softly. "I don't want you to get hurt or anything." She shook some snow from her fur and hair before sighing, looking around at the snow. As she looked ahead, she could see smoke rising into the sky from over the treetops. "There's a place up ahead past the trees." she said to him. "It shouldn't be too much longer."
 
"I just keep...going into the deep parts," he said, he wasn;t getting hurt, the snow was softer after all. Hearing her discovery of a place near by was good news to him "Great..lets hurry maybe it's a town," he said.
 
She nodded reluctantly and gently bit her bottom lip before running her fingers through her long hair. "Maybe." she replied before starting along once again. She was dragging her legs a little to make a better path for Seth.
 
Seth followed her, careful to avoidthe sudden drops n the snow. He could see the smoke as well, it was still far off though.
 
They continued trudging through the snow for a good while longer until Jewel spotted a pokecenter up ahead and she noticed that the snow was beginning to become more shallow. Finally the snow came up to just their ankles and jewel began to brush the snow off her upper legs.
 
Seth sighed in releif, thay finally made it. He hoped they had a phone, he wondered if professor oak might know something about the orbs.
 
Jewel felt a wave of relief wash over her when she saw the pokecenter up ahead and she smiled with a gentle sigh. She was looking forward to having a nice warm bed to sleep in and she knew that they needed to refill their food supply and water as well as wash their things. That thought made her blush a little and she laid her ears back for a moment before shaking her head with a small smile. "Are you looking forward to staying in a warm bed tonight?" she asked Seth as they neared the center.
 
"Very..." he said as they walked. "I'm not built for this kind of wheather," he said to her and smiled. They reached the center and walked in. He was a little surprised to see a Nurse Joy like from back home there to greet them, but he soon asked her to look over Jewel and asked what she was. In the mean time he was going to use the phone to call Oak.
 
Jewel shivered as they entered the center and the warm penetrated her blue fur and warmed her. She smiled at the Nurse Joy that was standing behind the desk and she was soon led away to be examined while Seth made the phone call. She was in the room with the nurse for about twenty minutes before she came bounding out with a smile on her face and the pink haired woman following. "Seth!" she called to her companion and owner as she moved towards him.
 
"Yes professor I did find something," he said, the image of an old man on the screen as he talked into the receiver. "They are right here..." he said before he suddenly heard her voice and saw her rushing out. "Whats wrong Jewel?" he asked, he forgot Oak had no idea he had her.
 
Jewel hurried over to her and smiled widely. "Nothings wrong. Nurse Joy said I'm in perfect health." she said with a giggle. She then spotted the old man on the screen and gasped. "Oh! Is this that Professor Oak that you told me about?" she asked him.
 
"Um yeah....Jewel...thats professor Oak," he told her. He introduced them, the Professor was kind and seemed interested in her. "I thought you didn't want to be a trainer though Seth?" the old man inquired. "Just because I have a partner doesn;t mean I have to be a trainer though," he said and they eemed to have a bit of a discussion."Oh yes....by the way these are what I wanted you to look at," he got the orbs out to show to the screen, the Professor seemed interested in them right away.
 
Jewel smiled sweetly at the man and waved with another giggle. She crouched next to Seth and looked at the two orbs that he took out, her ears twitching as she gazed at the pink one. The pokegirl remained fairly silent through the conversation, offering up her opinion or an extra detail once in a while. "Did you tell him about those funny looking people?" she asked at one point while taking the pink orb into her hands and looking it over.
 
"Oh yes," he said, he nearly forgot. "Professor...it seems Team ocket isn;t the only trouble," he said as he described there pursuers. The old man said he had no idea, who they may be, but Nurse Joy suddenly said "Team Galactic," and explained. They seemed very much like Team Rocket, but they seemed more bent on legendary pokemon, not just normal ones. "I see...so thats why they where at Coronet, they where looking for clues of Palkia and Dialga," he said.
 
Hearing Nurse Joy speak up, Jewel looked back at her and she nodded. "Those Team Galactic people looked really strange though." she said softly. "They all looked the same." She sighed and looked at Professor Oak again with a small smile. "We almost didn't make it away from them."
 
Oak said how glad he was that they had made it out okay. "Thanks Professor, I'll e back home so you can analyze the two orbs as soon as I can...but I have one more thing to ake care of before that," he had not forgotten his promise to let Jewel see a real pokegirl contest.
 
Jewel handed Seth the pink orb she had been looking at the folded her hands into her lap while looking up at the teen with an affectionate smile. "I really can't wait to meet you in person Professor." she said, her tail twitching slightly as she grinned at the older man. Turning to Seth again, she tugged on his shirt a little. "I'm going to go talk to Nurse Joy about a room for tonight." she said softly before standing and scurrying off to leave Oak and Seth to talk with each other.
 
Oak said how he seemed to get what there relationship was, the old man had noticed the afectionate look Jewel gave Seth. "S...Shut up....Professor....I'll be there soon....dirty old man," he grumbled as he clicked the screen off. He knew it wasn;t such a big deal, but just seeing that old man smiling about it kinda made him feel rather awkward.
 
When Seth finished talking to the professor, Jewel was standing at the desk with Nurse Joy talking about the different healing quialities of the different herbs and berries found in the wild. She stood there leaning against the counter with a wide smile on her lips and her eyes glittered happily.
 
"Alright Jewel," he said, his face still rather flushed. He was trying to shake off the fact his mentor seemed rather pleased he had a pokegirl partner.
 
Looking up at Seth, Jewel noticed that he looked a little flushed and she smiled gently but didn't say anything. "Nurse Joy said that there are several rooms available and we can use one tonight." she said to him. "She also said that there is a city on the other side of the lake so we can head there to restock on our food supply."
 
Seth nodded "So...any ideas as to what you are now thougfh Jewel?" he asked her curiously.
 
"Oh... I forgot to ask." she smiled sheepishly and folded her ears back in embarassment. Looking curiously at Nurse Joy who was smiling knowingly, the girl waited for her to speak. "Seth, your pokegirl is a Glaceon." the woman said. "And a very healthy one at that. I'm guessing you two came in contact with the Ice Rock not too far from Mount Coronet then. That's the only way that I know of an Eevee evolving into a Glaceon."
