The woods were fairly silent as a small Eevee limped through the trees, her dark brown fur helping her to blend in with their surroundings. The only sounds in the woods was the sound of birds flittering around and berhaps a ferrow somewhere in the trees as well as the occasional rustle of bushes and leaves and the sound of water somewhere nearby. Whimpering softly, the Eevee slowly made her way through the trees towards the watering spot that was popular for the pokegirls in the area. Moving out of the shadows of the trees, she moved over to the large lake and laid next to it to drink. Her thick dark brown fur glistened in the light of the sun and her ears flicked every now and again as she drank. Her tail was twitching tiredly. While she sat there, she began grooming herself, dipping her paw like hands into the water before running them through the thick mane like pale tan fur around her neck.

The Eevee was injured from a recent fight earlier by fending off a trainer and his pokegirls. She had just barely managed to get away and she was lucky that the trainer didn't give chase. She choose the lake, which was probably the worst place to choose, to tend to her wounds and rest. Closing her eyes with a soft whimper, the Eevee laid her head down on the cool grass beneath her and she took deep breaths of the sweet grass though she was trembling and whining from her wounds, too tired to move to some bushes to hide or to move else where.

Seth walked trough the very woods. His boots crunching the leaves and fallen twigs underneath them. He wasn't a trainer per say, he was just out hiking. Mot of the time wild pokegirls didn't attack humans, but well, for some reason they seemed more violent in recent days. He was here to figure out why that may be the case, and if there was anyway to stop it. Trainers had come all around to fight and capture these pokegirls. He was however ment here just to observe. The brunette took off his hat and wiped his brow of sweat. He opened his tankard of water only to find he had completely emptied it. His throat was getting parched and he needed water else he would most certianly expire out in the woods.

He removed a small device, they looked like doucing rods connected to a small amp. He turned them on and walked, a small blip coming from the speaker like device. Soon the blip would speed up, rather then going off every five seconds it would go off every two. Seth then heard water and knew it had worked. He put his device away and rushed towards it, it was a small stream, and he followed it util it poured into a lake. As he walked along it's edge he noticed it. An eevee girl, she looked hurt. "Nature can be cruel," he said, knowing he was here only to observe and not to interact if he could help it, but he took pity on her. He went over to check her condition, she had been pretty roughed up.

The eevee heard a strange sound getting closer to where she was before it stopped and she sighed softly before she heard the familiar sound of a humans foot steps. She wanted to stand up and move but she couldn't, not just yet. The girl was so tired and weak from the after effects of the long brutal fight. In the fight, she had been cut, burned and bruised by the trainers Chimchar but in the end she won before disappearing back into the tall grass on the edge of the woods and she escaped into the trees and underbrush.

As the human rushed towards her, the eevee whimpers before slowly opening her large green and brown eyes to look up at him as he got close to her. Placing her hands on the ground beneath her, she forced herself up and was about to put her feet beneath her but she fell back down to the ground with a whimper.

Seth watched the eevee healplessly move. He now saw the level of damamge she had taken. "Don;t move girl," he said, not as a command but with a more calming voice. He took something out of his pack, it looked like a spray bottle. He sprayed it on her, making sure to get every inch of her. Slowly a few of the minor scratches and burns vanished and healed, but the potion wasn;t a very strong one so she was still in alot of pain and would more or less likely be unable to move still. "It's not enough," he said once the bottle was empty and he put it back in his bag. He filled his water container up. Moving her gently so he could get her mouth open. "Try drinking a little," he said as he tipped little drips of water into her mouth, hoping she;d drink.

Seth didn;t know what he would do. He knew taking her to a pokemon center would be the better thing to do. But town wasn;t another day or two walk away. He didn;t think moving her very far would be a good idea on her, he'd have to try and heal her more before he could get her complsetely healed.

The eevee was breathing a little heavily after trying to get up and her wounds had screamed in protest. When he spoke to her, she looked up at him a little fearfully but she did as he said and she watched as he sprayed her with something. It had a strange smell to it since she had never smelt it before but a moment after it touched her fur and skin, she felt some of the pain disappear as some of the burns and scratches healed. The eevee allowed him to move her and she was able to look up at him better, allowing him to open her mouth. She swallowed the water slowly and sighed softly.

The girl didn't speak yet nor did she let down her guard. He was a human after all and from what she's experienced lately with the new wave of trainers coming to the woods, humans harmed wild pokegirls before capturing them but since he was healing her didn't mean he wouldn't try to capture her.

"Not the best spot to pick..right by a lake," he said. Seth didn't want to move her to much though so he just picked her up a little ways away into the trees away from the lake. He set her down gently. "I don't have any potions so the rest is going to have to be natural," he said as he rummaged through his pag for anything that might help. It would be getting late soon so he decided on starting a fire.

He gathered the necessary things and used a started to send sparks into the twigs and branches until it started and he had a roaring fire. He guessed she couldn;t talk, or just wouldn;t right now. He was sure she;d need food as well. He took a few things out of his pack. Energy bars, chips, peices of fruit and lunch meats and bread, he set all these things in front of her leaving it up to her to decide what she wanted or could eat.

Her ears twitched to let him know that she heard him but when he lifted her into his arms, she squirmed a little before becoming still once more. As he moved her, the eevee let her head rest against his arm and closed her eyes for a little while until he laid her down in the trees away from the lake. She nuzzled her face against the grass he laid her in, taking in the sweet smell once again.

She started for a moment when the fire was started but slowly relaxed once more with a soft sigh. She was still quite uneasy around the human so she remained skittish to some things. As he set out the food before her, the eevee looked at the energy bars and chips suspiciously before sniffing at them. In the end she took a piece of fruit and slowly ate it. The girl wasn't much of a meat eater and didn't like the smell of the energy bars and chips.

Seth took an energy bar for himself and ate it slowly. He looked at her eat, but eframed from staring for long periods of times. He would poke at the fire with a stick to shift the wood around and keep them blazing. "So...wat happened to you?" he asked looking at her as he chewed. He was just trying to thing if she could speak or not. Most wild ones couldn;t unless at some point they had been owned or was around humans for a long period of time. Some pokegirls in the allies of towns could speak small scentences and such.

She slowly looked up after taking a bite from the fruit and she slowly chewed on it for a little while before answering softly. "I... I was attacked." she said, bowing her head and some of her brown hair fell in her eyes. "By a... t-trainer." She swallowed softly and glanced up at him. The eevee was able to talk rather well for a wild pokegirl even though she'd been wild her entire life. She had learned by listening to the trainers and other humans that traveled through the woods.

"I see," he said and bit more of the bar. "Well....I'm not here to catch any pokegirls...I am here mainly to find out what is happening here," he said as he chewed and swallowed. "The forest used to be safe, but now alot of people are getting attacked, why is that?" he asked her. If she could talk then she might know the problem to this situation. Once he figured that out he could do something to help her and every other wild pokemon.

The eevee slowly looked up at him and cleared her throat with a slightly embarassed look on her face. "Oh... well, there's several reasons really." she said softly. "One would be the sudden wave of trainers coming to the woods. More and more of us wild pokegirls are getting hurt but not captured. Our food is being taken as well. The fish in the ponds and lakes, berries, fruit from the trees and honey from the hives in the trees. That has us pokegirls very upset, but with the time if the year that it is, it is a very dangerous combination." She took another bite from the fruit in her hand and sighs.

He nodded "So it's because of all the trainers showing up," he said as he finished the bar off. "What do you mean thi time of the year as well?" he asked. It was the iddle of spring, so naturally it was the most enjoyable time for the forest to grow and turn beautiful. He had taken out a pen and paper and jotted notes down as he waited for her to keep explaining things.

(sorry...blah moment)

She stares at him in surprise with a small frown before she swallows the bite of fruit in her mouth. "You don't know?" she asked softly before shaking her head slightly. "I would of thought that people knew. Around this time of the year, most wild pokegirls go into heat. It is the breeding season for us. Pokegirls get territorial and more violent because of the raw emotions and hormones." She finishes her fruit and tosses the seed somewhere into the woods in hopes that they would grow. "This year has been very hard on us wild pokegirls because of the lack of food and these trainers entering our territory. I've seen many pokegirls actually die this past winter because they didn't have enough food."

"So...it's breeding time as well...and with the lack of food it makes things worse," he wondered if this was why trainers come, after all feral pokegirls could be bred and make a nice profit. It was almost like the slave trade at times, but since pokegirls weren't human it was accepted. "So...your in heat too?" he asked looking at her.

The eevee froze and looked at him suspiciously, narrowing her eyes. She knew that he told her that he wasn't there to capture pokegirls, but that didn't make her any less wary of him. "No, I'm not." she said. "That's what the trainer that attacked me, made the mistake of thinking. Eevee's don't go into heat at a set time through the year. We go into heat whenever we wish to go into heat."

"Thats interesting," he said and sa still. "Are you feeling any better?" he asked, she seemed more energetic which was good it ment the food made her feel better. He poked at the fire again. "I think you'll be able to walk by tomorrow...so we can take you to the center and get you healed up even better," he said hoping the idea of a quick recovery was to her liking.

She nodded slightly and shifted around so she was curled up near the fire. "Yes, I'm feeling a little better." she said to him. "The rest of my cuts and burns are still rather painful." Her tail flicked side to side for a moment. She looked up at him and itched the back of her ear before saying to him. "How am I supposed to get back to the woods?" she asked him. "If I try to get back on my own, there's a big chance that a trainer will attack me."

"Well...I can take you unless you oppose of a human leading you there?" he said, he knew she didn't trust him to much as he picked up on her body language. "No trainers will attack you, they may assume your just with me," he added in hopes on convincing her to agree.

"I don't mind being led..." she said slowly. "I'm just uncomfortable about walking into a place populated by so many trainers and humans." She scratched her ear again before laying down the rest of the way with a yawn. She closes her eyes for a moment before looking at him again.

"Alright then..." he said and watched her yawn. "You should get some sleep eevee," he said calling her by what she was, unaware if wild pokegirls gave themselves names or not. "It will be a little difficult walking to town, and it would be better if we got there earlier in the morning when no one is up and about...I'm sur you want to avoid that as much as I do," he said. Seth wasn;t all that social really, thats why he was alone in the woods in the first place.

She offered him a small smile and she nodded as she curled up next to the fire. Yawning once more, she laid her head down on her arms before closing her eyes for a moment. "Yes... I would like to avoid as many people as I can." she murmured and she slowly opened her eyes once more to look up at him. "Thank you. For helping me." With that she settled down and closed her eyes with a sigh and within moments she was fast asleep.

Seth stayed up a bit, making sure the fire kept lit before closing his eyes to sleep as well. Every now and then he would wake up to check on the fire and make sure she was still asleep. She was very attractive even if she was badly hurt. After the center she'd be back to normal and he could report what she had told him. "If im lucky they'll make the forest off limits," he said before once again nodding off into slumber.

The Eevee slept through most of the night in a peaceful slumber but sometime in the early morning just after the sun started to rise, something caused her to wake suddenly. Her eyes snapped open and her ears quickly perked up as she listened carefully to her surroundings. At first she was confused as to why she woke up. Then she heard it. The familiar rustle and growl of wild pokegirl. She lifted her head and looked over at Seth who was fast asleep. The fire had died down almost completely. Slowly she forced herself to her hands and knees despite how achey she felt. And she did it just in time. A moment later a nidorianna lunged from the trees in the direction of the human and the eevee tackled her from the side, sending the two poke girls tumbling into the nearby bushes where they fought.

The sound of the two girls colliding into one anther and timbling into the underbrush had roused him awake. He sat up looking across the fire only to see her not there. He heard the two fighting and turned only having to go a few feet before seeing the two. Seth knew this was a loosing fight, eevee was hurt and the nidorinna had the poisoness barbs on her arms and back to hurt her even worse.

The Nidorinna was holding the eevee by her arms, holding the smaller girl against the ground. They were arguing in the language of the wild pokegirls while they fought. Eevee began kicking at the other girls soft belly with her feet, her razor sharp claws cutting into her skin until the nidorinna picked her up and threw her against a nearby tree. The already injured eevee hit the tree with a thud before falling against the ground in a crumpled heap while the other pokegirl started for Seth. However, the eevee stood up and tackled the attacking pokegirl. For a little while longer they fought and argued before the large nidorinna finally left and the eevee stood there breathing heavily. "Are you okay?" she asked softly, keeping her back to him.
