What makes a 'good' rp partner for you?

1. Eagerness and actual interest - Based on my two-ish years on the forum I can safely say that when a person is actually interested in writing with you it tends to show. Be it an extremely well-written approach, the general excited-vibes leaking through their message or combination of both. While it is not guaranteed that a person who showcases these attributes will stick with you it is at least a good indicator that if you get something off the ground then it most likely will be a good time, especially if the eagerness to plot, discuss about the RP or just OOC-chat stays there.

2. Communication - A partner who is easy to chat with and who can communicate their wishes, limits, ideas and contribute things is always someone who I vibe to play with.

3. Chemistry - A person who I enjoy chatting with is most likely a person I enjoy playing with. I admittedly am not the bestest of OOC-chatter, but have met many people who I enjoy talking to here, and even if my slow-ass takes time to get to them they seem to welcome me back with open arms and are interested in continuing the chatter where we left off, which in turn translates to roleplays to going well at least in my opinion.

4. Creativity - This tends to show in a lot of different ways depending on the roleplay at hand. Some might throw extremely good ideas and interesting hooks in OOC, others surprise me in their IC-replies.

I believe I've already commented on this but of late I have found a half and half measure where we each meet each other half way is truly something to celebrate. So like both rpers being able to rp certain gender and sexuality but also just like on the rp kink side of things. Finding a match for rp kinks in general can be a bit of a stretch as sometimes there is a leave this out or a this doesn't work or stuff. Discord is sort of a huge place for me to rp on and even then finding Discord rp partners is a leap. Connection though is the overall summary of what makes a good rp partner for me because without that, well, the disconnect stalls and makes things fall at the threads.
