Worst Snow Day Ever... or is it?

"the only acid which cannot be dilluted, what is it?" he asks her, leaning forward with a grin on his face.
 
"wrong, water counts as a circumstantial acid as well as a base when addressed through general topics," he says and sits back, knowing that every person he comes across always forgets that rule for science.
 
"What for? You just learned some interesting facts that you can tell your kids," he says and tilts his head.
 
Leila frowned and turned her head to the side. "Yeah fine...". She sighed a little and looked at the ceiling.
 
Vince stood up when she looked to the ceiling, sliding over the counter and walking over to her before turning the chair around with his shoulders on hers. "What's the deal? Ever since sophmore year in high school we've been unable to cope for longer than a few minutes. Why have we even been like this in the first place?"
 
Leila looked at him and said "I don't know why, maybe we just hate each other" she said looking at him.
 
"Psh, I know that I dislike how you seem to hate me, though I'm hypothesisizing that you in fact don't hate me," he whispers while closing in and whispering into her ear. "Maybe our rivalry was a test between the two of us to see if we're compatable or not."
 
She pushed him off and said "I think that became apparent in high school" she said frowning a little.
 
"I thought different being that I was busy worrying about getting into college, and then my thesis," he says and crosses his arms and turning to be facing away from her most of the way. With his head turned to look back at her, Vince says "If it was such a test and was so obvious why wouldn't you tell me anything?"
 
Leila looked at him and then at the roof and said "I don't know...do we have to talk about this..?" she asked.
 
"Yes, it's about time we finally get over with this and don't have such an irrational rivalry between two coexsisting multi-celled carbon based organisms living in the same area," he says with a small descriptive rant. Vince was known for that when he's passionate about something, either out of anger, determination, or fascination.
 
Leila looked at him and said "Fine...why you keep acting like this is my fualt, I'll never know. You dumped me. You tore my heart into a million pieces and then went out with that bit Taylor Arnamen after you said "I'm too buzy for a girlfriend", you lying hypocrite" she said glaring.
 
"What? We weren't dating, we were making experiements for extra credit together," he says and puts four fingers to his forehead. "I broke up and told you that if you were available after the school year that we could get back together but no, on the last day you just had to go and sleep with Daniel Davis, him and his muscles and ability to throw punches without getting knocked out in return..."
 
"What! I didn't sleep with Daniel Davis, I hated him. He kissed me at prom so I socked him one in the face. Bloody whimp he was, ran away like some puppy" she said frowning. "And are you that thick? you might have just been experimenting but she told the whole school you were "Experimenting" with something other then chemicals and lab rats".
 
"Of course we were, we were assigned to make a weather balloon and see what the atmosphere nearby is like," he says and then puts the palm to his face. "alright... so we're both naive and are easily misled into thinking that we aren't compatable... even though we're just looking for an excuse to not be together... you socked 'Double Dee' in the face?"
 
Lela grinned and said "I still have the tooth I knocked out" she said grinning. "He wasn't so much of a tough guy after all"
 
Vince sits down next to her and then turns to face her in the chair. "All of that... over one bitch being a bitch..." he says to himself and puts a hand to his face, sighing.
 
"... Hi, i'm Vince and i couldn't help but notice that you worked in the same area for teaching. Would you mind if i got you a drink?" Vince asks, showing that maybe they should start over at some point since their rivalry was based off of a misunderstanding.
 
"What would you like? I could make us some fruit flavored rum since i know where the ladies keep it hidden in the back, or would you just like a coffee?"
