Please post all character profiles here using the template provided before joining the RP. Anyone is welcome to create a character, or more than one, and to respectfully introduce themselves into any scenes happening in public places within the Pleasant Beach community (although any requests that one leave such a scene, either IC or OOC, should be respected). Please keep in mind the rules outlined below.

The rules for characters:

• All characters must be at least 18 years of age. Theoretically, there are younger kids living in Pleasant Beach, but they won't appear in any scenes.
• All characters must be human—this is a real-world RP.
• Characters should have sexes that are possible in real life, so no futa as commonly depicted (trans and intersex characters are welcome).
• Characters' looks, body types, and sizes should be kept within more or less realistic bounds.

If you and another player want to play relatives or otherwise have a close relationship, great—just make sure everyone involved is cool with it.

Background: Camilla grew up in a conservative, traditional Colombian-American family, playing the part of the well-behaved Catholic daughter--at least, as far as her parents knew. In truth, she always chafed under her family's expectations, and as she came into adolescence, she began eagerly exploring her sexuality in secret from them (not that they looked all that hard, by then viewing her as very much their little angel). Since marrying Martin, Camilla has become a mother to some seven children--only three of them Martin's biologically. This Emptiness brough Ayaka down a well on the internet. Her curiosities brought her to Polyamory, BDSM and other similar lifestyles. Ayaka connected with a friend at school who told her about Pleasant Beach. Ayaka decide that it would be good for her to live in the community and experience that lifestyle.

He hasn't quite decided what he wants to do with his life after graduation, but he knows he wants to say in the neighborhood--after all, where could be better?

Personality: Caleb has the kind of confidence few teenagers who haven't been raised in the lifestyle of Pleasant Beach can match. An early bloomer, Vanessa took to the local lifestyle eagerly when she came of age, including starting to play with her dad; while she and her mom are close, they've never had that kind of connection, Camilla being much more interested in men.

Knowing she wanted to remain in Pleasant Beach, Vanessa applied to a public college nearby after high school and got in with little trouble. While she initially wasn't sure what she wanted to study, she ended up declaring her major in marketing by the start of her sophomore year, largely motivated by the taking off of her social media presence and the OnlyFans account she'd started as a freshman. Now in her senior year, Vanessa plans to make adult performance her full-time job once she's out of school, a choice her parents have expressed some concern about (purely over her safety and future prospects should her interests change) but been supportive nevertheless. There she received training and support with training to become a skilled bar tender. Another three years earned Janelle her independence and freedom. Although her sponsor had always called her Manaia (native for bird), it wasn't until that fifth year that she felt like a 'free bird'.

Per her grandmother's wishes, five years clean and sober was required to obtain the inheritance left to her. Eager to begin a new start for herself, Manaia took some time consolidate her grandmother's things. She sold what she didn't want, stored the keep sakes that mattered, and placed the house under the care of a property management company for some passive income. The financial gain was put towards a ticket to orange county California and a down payment on a modest abode in the community of Pleasant Beach.



Personality: Manaia (Muh-nai-uh), as she prefers to be called, is a tempered party brat. Time in rehabilitation and serious existential self-discovery has left her contented with the simple pleasures in life. She is self-expressive through artistic talent, body art and piercings, and nudity. She values bird-like-freedom trusting the basics to fuel her creativity and passion. She loves a good time, but remains cautious with those desiring closer relationship, connection, and commitment.

Background: Danielle, the only child of Ida and John Hawkins, grew up believing she was a girl based on everything her parents had told her. He had been sworn to secrecy, but couldn't live with himself anymore, so needed to confess all before retiring with a clean conscience.

As a result, Danielle emancipated herself and moved out of Pleasant Beach after a very public row with her parents. While a couple weeks of staying with friends and cooling her heels made her want to talk to them again, their car took a jump off the pier. It was ruled an accident, but Danny couldn't help but feel responsible for this somehow. Then she went into hiding for two years, after being taken in by an older Assigned Male at Birth genderfluid person- Donnie Levine, a wealthy recluse who lived in Estella Gardens, a mansion atop the hills overlooking town named for their late wife. They were influential in promoting the acceptance of LGBTQ people in Pleasant Beach, including funding LGBTQ youth shelters in nearby cities, as well as the decriminalization of public nudity and sexual activity in Pleasant Green, which helped draw a...certain crowd.

But most importantly, Donnie treated them like a person capable of making their own decisions rather than a little girl. They funded Danielle's Bachelor's in Political Science at American University in Washington, DC. However, after a couple years of trying to make it work in the PAC/think tank/NGO sphere Dani went back home when Donnie called them back a year before the events of the In Character thread, explaining they were about to die due to congestive heart failure. As they reunited one last time, Dani confessed they'd always loved Donnie and, upon their feelings being reciprocated, gave their virginity to the person thirty years their senior. After dying, Donnie then willed their entire LLC, including a mix of cash, significant stakes in large tech companies and startups, donations to university buildings, art, bonds, and real estate valued at $500 million total, solely to Dani. The only directive being that Dani continue to find some ways to give some of the fortune to various philanthropic activities. Flabbergasted, Dani learned how to manage and invest it all, but doing so was a full-time job.

The only time Dani gets out of the house, then, is when they're feeling very femme and want to show off their bikini body, maybe get fucked by a hot girl, guy, or non-binary individual. (A huge draw of which for many men and AMAB NBs is that, as long as they test negative for STDs, "she" will grant them the ability to ejaculate inside her). But they're still afraid people won't accept the masc side of them, or that they'll only value them for their money, and so "she" remains a "she" in public but doesn't interact much, and risks becoming an agoraphobe like Donnie unless she can find someone to truly be vulnerable with.
