Personality: Kathryne is responsible, and yet expressive. In fact she’s rarely at a loss for words, and finds it really easy for her to meet people -not to mention make friends. All the classes at Hogwarts are proving to be pretty easy, and homework? Not an issue. Being a Chaser on the Hufflepuff team? Uh… less than ideal. It’s sort of a struggle. Kat only joined the team because she wanted to… and, well, she isn’t exactly great at hitting the Quaffle. Spontaneous and happy, Kat likes people and doesn’t often feel lonely. It’s difficult to sit down and study for any great length of time, though, when your social calendar fills up every few days.

Zachariah is difficult to know, or to understand. It isn't very often he dares to let anyone in, and it has to be someone he trusts implicitly. It is his cool, professional exterior that hides his more generous and sympathetic nature. Zachariah is strict, but fair.

Brief Backstory:
There isn’t much to tell. Zachariah was raised among several siblings, and while he has lost touch with a few, he made sure not to lose touch with his younger sister, Kylie. At one point she fell in love and married a Muggle… and although he did not particularly like her decision, he respected it… despite Mother being completely against it for some reason. It wasn’t until years later that he learned she had a daughter, or an affair with another man. Apparently the fairy-tale ending she wanted so badly just… wasn’t a reality, not with the Muggle. Kylie was in a horrible situation, however, because the ‘other man’ was killed during his job as an Auror. To help out, Zachariah sort of… took them all under his wing. It is strange to be living together under the same roof again, but it is… interesting to be living among Muggles and wizards.

Personality: He is very laid back, has a bit of a problem with the Felix Felicis potion, using it a lot but never for quiditch, he doesn't like cheating, but he just loves the feeling it gives him when he is on it. When he wants something done, which doesn't often happen, he will calculate every outcome possible. He prefers to be alone but if you get on his good side he will do everything to protect you.

Wand: Dogwood, Dragon heartstring, 10 1/4 inches.

Quidditch?: Yes, Keeper position.

Family: Two older brothers who have already left Hogwarts, he came from a Gryffindor family, there family being ashamed of him for being drafted into the slytherin house.

Brief Backstory: Almost got kicked out of Hogwarts a few times for his abuse of the felix Felicis potion and his tendency to skip classes.

Titus is good-natured if a bit... well, a lot cocky. He's not exactly the smartest guy. He's not always the best with magical theory or even sheer instinct or talent in most of his classes. If not for his way with magical creatures and an inexplicable talent for Potions, he might have been held back or expelled years ago. He's a hell of a Chaser, which only adds to his big head. However, he depends on a circle of friends and interested Hufflepuffs to make sure his grades are good adequate to retain eligibility. It's an uphill battle for them as he's usually more interested in brewing up some new potion, flirting with his tutors, or finding the next party. If not all three.

Brief Backstory: Though he's of magic blood on both sides, he was well aware of the non-magical world through his father's Muggle family. So, he mostly knows his way around the Muggle world and technology. His family struggled for money when he was younger. His father's business finally took off when Titus was in his third year. He suddenly found himself with money, and everything it brought with it. Unlike his younger sister, he remembers being poor so it hasn't really changed him.

Patronus: looks like some sort of large bird from what anyone could tell the few times he managed to get something close to a corporeal Patronus.

Pets: None at Hogwarts

Other: Can't be left alone the night before a Quidditch match as he's been found tied up and locked in a broom closet somewhere on three separate occasions.

Family: Granddaughter of Felix Rosier, she has two elder brothers, Evan II, who disappeared shortly after graduation, though he was known as a particularly troubled boy so it's no doubt that it was intentional, and Dorian, who has since graduated and is the captain (and chaser) of Puddlemere United.
Brief Backstory: As one of the few remaining truly pureblood families in Britain (also known as the Sacred 28), the Rosier family has extremely high expectations for their children. It was set that their eldest, Evan Rosier II, was to inherit the majority of the family fortune along with their properties, business, and so forth. However, shortly after graduation, he disappeared and has not been seen since. Growing up, going to Hogwarts, he was known as a bit of a black sheep of the family, troubled, as they would say. It's a popular belief that he ran off with either a muggle girl or at least a muggle-born witch in order to get out of the high expectation. The second child, Dorian Rosier, was never the responsible type and while he got good grades and otherwise pleased his parents, he had no interest in taking on his elder brother's responsibilities and was signed on as a chaser for Puddlemere United right out of Hogwarts. He played reserve for two years before making the official team, finally working his way up to captain. Since then, Anastasia is whom the Rosier family is reluctantly looking toward to be the official heiress as their sons have disappointed them. Anastasia is known as a very capable witch, proficient in potions and herbology (as she refuses to use ingredients she hasn't procured herself if possible). She seems particularly interested in doing whatever it takes to be the heiress her parents wanted.

Personality: Clever. Studious. Playful. Focused. Rebellious. Loyal.

Wand: Half oak and half maple (split lengthwise) bound with iron, with a sphynx feather for a core. Nine and one half inches long.

Quidditch?: Alex got drafted (by a friend of his) into the Ravenclaw team in his third year, and has stuck with it because he enjoys flying. He plays Chaser.

Family and Brief Backstory: Alex is the son of a muggle father (Henry Merwyn) and an Indian Brahmin witch (Hana Agrawal). His father was a British Foreign Office liason to the Indian Ministry of Magic, and married his mother during his tour of duty in Delhi. When Henry was recalled to England in the wake of the second Death Eater uprising, Hana returned with him.

Alex has been raised with an appreciation for teachings of both the muggle and wizard worlds, and is far more comfortable with technology than most wizards. He has dabbled with enchanting technological devices, but his experiments have (so far) been small and secret.

Patronus: A blue flapshell turtle wielding a mace.

Familiars: Two crows, named Vicara and Smrti.

Other: At the insistence of his maternal grandfather, Alex practices the Indian martial arts of śastra-vidyā (weapon knowledge) and the wizarding jādū-vidyā, along with karate and traditional wand dueling. Note that he's not as bad-ass as this makes him sound. His hobbies include painting, reading, robotics, and enchanting.

Personality: Sharp. No-nonsense. Driven.

Wand: Scots pine with a core of cu-sith hair, 7 inches long. Lightning-blackened rowan with flint arrowheads embedded in each end, 66 inches long.

Quidditch?: William supports the Montrose Magpies, but never played.

Family: William is a great-grandson of Caractacus Burke. His father is one of the current proprietors of Borgin and Burkes.

Brief Backstory: William was an Auror who served as a liaison with the Metropolitan Police Service until 2015, when he retired after helping stop an attempted magical terror attack in the London Underground. The experience cost him his left leg below the knee, as well as significant nerve damage that required nearly six months of magical therapy to heal.

Originally hired to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, he was forced out of the position after his first year due to parental protests over his "harsh" (he would say "practical") methods of instruction. Because the school had an excellent Magical Law staff, he was made Adjunct Professor of Transfiguration, a magical discipline he has remarkable talent for. When Professor Athelmbe Greengrass retired two years ago, he took over as the primary instructor.

Other: William's left leg, just below the knee, has been replaced with an enchanted prosthetic forged out of silver. It is a fully functional limb.

Since the influx of technology spilling over into the Wizarding World, Jae's parents started a tech repair shop in Diagon Alley which specializes in repairing muggle tech, as well as charming it to work without actual mobile service. Jae also has one younger sister who is in her second year at Hogwarts.

Personality: Driven to impart his personal experiences and knowledge of the wizarding world outside the walls of Hogwarts, Felias seeks to expand the minds of his students and help them explore their interests away from magic. While he does not denounce his magical heritage, Felias believes that magic and technology both have made students lax. He prefers to do things with his hands rather than depend on magic to accommodate basic activities such as cleaning, packing, and writing with the use of magic quills (Rita Skeeter be damned).

He takes joy in the simpler things and can often be found walking the grounds when he is not writing out lesson plans or grading papers in his classroom. He is very direct and would rather get to the point of an objective rather than dance around the subject. This personality trait takes a 180 in the classroom where he will often theorize and relate to students, getting them involved in his discussions; anything to make the study of ancient runes more interesting to them.

Wand: Redwood with Unicorn Core, 31.115 centimeters and pliant flexibility

Quidditch?: Never involved in Quidditch but always watched in school

Family: Felias' direct family from both sides are pureblooded and both were placed in Hufflepuff, making his choice of Slytherin even more of an oddity. His mother and father are both family practitioners at their local clinic where they have used their magic for the greater good of healing others. His father works in physiotherapy while his mother works in orthopedics, both in the magical sense. Both wanted him to pursue the art of healing but Felias was more interested in the art of calligraphy.

Brief Backstory: As mentioned, Felias' parents wanted him to focus on school, particularly potions, so he could work in the field of medicine as they had. Instead, Felias felt more drawn toward the significance of written words, specifically the art of calligraphy. The study of Ancient Runes became his favorite class, particularly when Professor Babbling was still a teacher.

After applying himself toward the field of ancient runes, Felias took a brief sabbatical once he graduated from Hogwarts and went to Italy where he completed a short internship with the Italian Ministry of Magic. There he spent a year as an administrative assistant to a member of the Department of Mysteries, taking time to decode text written in often forgotten languages and transcribing various articles of text over to legible parchment for documentation purposes. With a glowing recommendation from the Head of the Department, Felias returned to London to work for a time in the Department of Magical Artifacts under Sage Bragnam (Head Curator), cataloguing different magical items as the Logistics manager and coordinator while at the same time acting on the Ministry of Magic Research Committee.

Upon hearing of Professor Babbling's impending retirement, Felias decided to place his application at Hogwarts where he would hopefully be starting this year once he receives a letter of acceptance for the position.
