He watched her as she did her work, "Raven, do I bore you...?" He asked.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"What?" She asked, looking over. "N..No.. why do you ask..?"

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You seem more interested in your tasks, is all.." He said.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Well.. they are still my duties.." she said. "I don't get to skip out on them.."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Says who?" He asked, no snide or playful tone this time around.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I.. well.. traditions.." she said. "The missionary always tends to the grounds when not on mission.."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You're the envoy..." He said, "You don't really need to do missionary work..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a noise. "Then.. what would I do..?" She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Service your Lord." He replied, "You would really go off and spread my word and leave me here alone?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I-I.. well no, I suppose not.."she said, her face flushing a bit.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You have others who would be more than willing, I'm sure." He told her.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"M-More than willing..? Fo.. for servicing you?" She asked. "Or.. for the missions..?"

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"For missions," he said, "though, I'm sure there are quite a few who would be more than happy to have your spot at my side."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a noise. "I see what you mean.." she said. "Well, we have a new missionary.. I'm sure he will do fine.."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"He will." He said before beckoning her closer.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She moved closer, her heart picking up. "Yes?"

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He picked her up and set her in his coil, wrapping his arms around her, "I understand your work is very important, but I would like to think your living God should always be first priority."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

Her face flushed and she nodded. "O..Of course..! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off as rude.."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He shook his head, "Don't fret...I'm not upset with you."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She nodded, simply resting against him.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"However," his voice became low, "I will not be letting you out of my sight for the foreseeable future."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"A-Ah.. i-is.. is that so..?" She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"If there are no objections?" He said.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"N-No, not at all..!" She said.

"Good. I had hoped not." He said.
