A Bad Reputation (1x1 w/PoisonousIvee)

She liked that, in honesty. But was more flattered that he had been so shamelessly flirting with her.

It was pretty obvious, too. Every chance he got, he would flirt. Especially so when he brought up them getting married.

She would be flustered each time, trying to think of clever comebacks. Nothing, as per usual.

"I-I am not! And you've been a lousy future husband so far, no flowers, just flirting.." she said.

The two of them continued to talk and be friendly, but they both seemed to be hung up on something. Raven still wasn't taking a husband, but there had been some close calls with some of the men when they came back from long voyages.

Derek wouldn't let any of them near her, making it painfully clear that she was not looking for any sort of relationship.

She was, however. She was getting.. lonely, to be honest. The thought of a man devoted to her, worshipping the ground she walked on, maybe.. a little less nice than all that. It really was heaven, being around all these massive, handsome men, the beautiful women, and then.. her. The outsider

Back home, no one really thought much of her. No one went out of their way to tell her how pretty she was, or tried to court her and beg her for her hand. Here though, here there was nearly a line of men and some women who wanted to be with her.

She didn't know what to do with herself, especially when some more hot blooded of the men would visit her shop, try to woo her. She was getting more comfortable, though.

Derek still would flirt, now adding flowers to his routine. Maybe he was serious about that future husband stuff.

She was flirting more with him now, too. "I don't know when you plan on it, but I'm getting a lot of offers for marriage.. kids, too..~"

She seemed a little confused. "Wh.. well yes..!" She laughed softly. "You aren't jealous, are you?"

"Well, no, ye should always tell oth'r men no when they ask ye t' bear their kids. Ye ain't marryin' them." He told her.

"I know, Derek, I know.." she said. What had gotten into him? Did HE want kids from her? The thought made her stomach flip.

"Good. I'll let 'em know not t' ask anymore." He said. Damn, he didn't mean to make it so obvious he was actually really interested.
